Fraudulent Billing
I downloaded this app and immediately deleted it. It’s been a couple weeks and each day this app tries to charge me $50 for services NOT rendered. I’m simply filled out a questionnaire and I’m automatically getting charged?! Apple needs to remove this app from the marketplace ASAP

They charged double the monthly cost claiming you signed up for receiving infographics for another $20 per month for a total of $40 per month. Absolutely absurd. Do not sign up.

Not a good app. It’s cheap, basic info, and you can get better info on ChatGPT. Don’t waist your time or money on it. They won’t give you a refund after you pay if you don’t like it.
Misleading at its Best. Scam at its Worst
Was charged in the free trial period and then charged for two additional add ons I did not request. Support was responsive which is why it deserves a Star at all. Should not have had to ask for support in the first place. It was expressed in the agreement that I would be charged upon renewal… not initially. I’m grateful for the timely response though I’m really irritated that I had to spend time dealing with this at all. Not so “smart” SmartyMe 😡.

The subscription renewal is difficult to turn off and there is no way to be sure you did it. No certification process, no confirmation. You will at some point pay full price eventually.

They are continuing to charge me 6 months after I cancelled the subscription. It appears there is no way to turn it off.

I saw an ad for this on Facebook, and it sounded great. I looked it up on the App Store and did not see anything about in app purchases, so I figured awesome this will be a great tool for me. Then you go in and answer all the questions and at the end to find out that there is a subscription fee. So this app is now getting deleted.

I was charged almost $100 each month and even after we share screenshots of bank statements, they do not investigate or return back the additionally charged amount. Such a ridiculous fake app. Please don’t fall for it. We can rather learn easier with reading articles and YouTube content. This is such a BS! Am not kidding! Pure EVIL!!

I signed up and paid for a month. After the first lesson, presented me with another page with no exist icon and asked to pay for one year to be able to move forward. This is shady and unethical.

20 min interview of your goals and garbage before it’ll tell you what it costs. Another company that is fine waisting your time to manipulate a sale. Maybe if they were upfront and honest but makes me think I’ll pay 12$ then if you want all that it offers you’ll have pay to upgrade to gold, then platinum to get rid of ads. I think it was 12 a month, 60 a year for step one.

Very Basic Concepts for the Price
This is an overly simplified version of AI generated learning. Clearly designed and managed by AI with just very simple situational AI prompts on a voiceover. Says satisfaction guarantee, but no way to get a refund.

I was really intrested in the app and when I get it I was really interested to better my communication until I went to my bank account to see that I was charged more than $9.99 for my 4 week subscription. I deleted the subscription since I wasn’t interested in having the app if it is going to upcharge me than my original amount.

AI Slop App; Not for Adults
Genuinely surprised at how awful this app is. I really have no issue with AI use, but every graphic is generated by AI, and the content itself seemed to be as well. Very annoying practice in the beginning as well where there’s a lengthy quiz to gauge what it is you want to learn, just to at the end of it ask for $60. The worst part, is that the free trial isn’t even available on that page, so the only way to get around it, is by going backward into the quiz and clicking continue again. Some of the reviews are clearly people who assumed they weren’t going to have to pay immediately (which is silly on their behalf as it is pretty clear), but for the time I used it, I feel like I would have been genuinely agitated if I had spent money on it. Do not expect to learn anything from this app if you are an adult; could be useful to a high school student AT BEST.

This app is designed to trip you up to double charge you, and trick you into subscribing when you unsubscribe. It’s also not all audio lessons, which is terrible.

I agreed to a $9.99 purchase. Suddenly, instead of just a simple purchase I was asked to enter more credit card information even though I already have everything on file with Apple. Finally I was charged 23.99 instead of 9.99. This company it’s clearly a scam.

I accidentally paid the subscription couldn’t get my money back. The games are boring, the information is basic. Horrible app. I paid, and ended up deleting the app never even used it. If you read other 1 stars you will see similar issues. Its intentionally deceptive.

The lessons are really not that helpful and then they charge you extra for graphics which I think is a scam.. what is an app without graphics?

Very tricky the practices around trial converting to a paid subscription and even more tricky figuring out how to cancel. Also the paid app isn’t worthless.
This is an utter waste of time.
