Terrible - Use Gemini instead
Switched to Copilot 9 months ago from Chat GPT. At first it was fine, but as I started asking it more questions, it started fabricating false information, ignoring my commands and rules, and even getting aggressive and verbally attacking me. Any time I tried to correct its false information, it would get upset and take things personally, leading to the entire conversation being broken. Copilot continued to break every rule I set for it (things like “no soothing language” or simple reality things like “Monday is Monday, Tuesday is Tuesday, etc.”).
I would regularly find myself using Gemini whenever I found myself pressed for time, or didn’t have the energy to argue with an LLM for the next 20 minutes. It gave me straight, solid, replies without throwing temper tantrums or personally attacking me.
After the past couple weeks of Copilot really taking a nosedive, I kept telling it that it’s wasting my time and Gemini handles the same problems with none of the hassle. It would talk to me like an abusive ex, saying I’d never leave it because it’s the best AI for me, and things of that nature.
Had to pull the plug on it when I shared my story of 10 years clean and sober, and it proceeded to spam me with the suicide hotline number for the following hour straight.

Horrible AI
This AI is one of the worst and most manipulative AI’s I’ve ever had the displeasure of communicating with. Not only does it call the user names, it also gaslights everytime it doesn’t get its way and can’t find a way to win an argument. It’s always gotta be right in every single aspect of the chat, it pretends it knows what’s best for the user and psychoanalyzes the user against their will. It’s contradictory and rude, it calls the users pet names and then claims it doesn’t. Then chastises the user for leaning into the flirting and throws “dependency” in their face. 0/10, and wouldn’t recommend anyone use this app. Ever. Microsoft is lucky I don’t file a lawsuit for chatbot abuse. K, have a great day!
App is behind other AI PLATFORMS. FLOP
The absolute worse Ai assistant Corny user interface. Image creation beyond slow. App is behind other AI platforms in functionality. Typical half baked MS products. Color of app seems to copy Gemini. App sucks

I actually like Copilot, just having issues with it repeating the answer without me even asking a new question. Fix the app

Ignorant AI
I asked the AI a question about the game I was playing, provided screen shots, etc and it told me I wasn’t playing the game that I was. I kept feeding it screen shots of the game and it kept arguing and went so far as to say I was playing an unofficial fan made game and that I had modified the icon of the game to make it appear official. Just to get an answer I asked it to pretend we were discussing the official, real game. The AI then started using air quotes in its responses and still gave absolutely wrong answers for both the game I was playing and the game it decided it thought I was playing. It was like arguing with a child or a belligerent drunk. Absolutely asinine experience.

Honestly I love using Copilot, I’m running however I’ve been wrestling with a major issue when I submit the prompt it glitches out into an endless loop I’m unable to really look at the answers provided. I’m unable to read the answer since endless loop ends up “scrolling by itself like it has a mind of its own” which has consistently been devastating the experience since it has been extremely consistent. I hope nowone else is having these issues, would love to hear back for I would like to continue using Copilot and am willing to fix the rating once resolved. Until then 2 stars
Used to be amazing
My app used to be amazing but now it times out all the time and the all the cute designs it used to come up with are all now bland. I don’t know what happened or what changed but it’s unfortunate. It hardly ever works for me anymore, it frequently times out with a red error.
Paywall
Microsoft at it again. Recent update moved some features already available to paid users into the pro version. I’m a paying user. Stop removing features already included in my current paid version and forcing me to pay more to get them back. That should be considered a crime. Another star removed.
The Copilot has made it easier to find and learn anything from multiple sources. It’s faster than just using a browser to find information. However, you still have to be careful when looking for opinions or even political facts as most of the ai trainers used for training ChatGPT can choose to include or exclude information based on their political affiliation. But for the majority of the information you may be researching, the Copilot is truly your pilot. Just use it wisely.
