Freezes, crashes.
Frequent freezing and crashing issue occurs upon opening a new tab. The whole app will stop responding until it is closed and relaunched. Happens on all pages occasionally but almost always happens on news websites with a paywall pop up it just instantly locks the whole browser till close and relaunch.

I can’t even login on most websites using MS Edge. But others browsers have no issues. Negative stars and waste of time.

The only thing I dislike so far but it does so much damage to the user experience. There should be a setting to disable it permanently.

I did not want an AI browser
I first installed this app because i liked edge on the desktop but this newest update is rebranding edge as an ai browser i don’t care or want ai in my browser

I just want the regular Edge browser. This thing sucks
You can’t swipe to close tab
The functions is just removed. The function that you can swipe to close tab was working just fine but they just removed it for no resean. Also you lose some functions in keyboard menu I guess Microsoft just customized the keyboard so it loses the features and it’s just disgusting.

I gave up on this app.
It keeps asking me to use my Microsoft authenticator app to login, but I can’t log into my authenticator app because it requires me to use the authenticator app to login. It’s an endless loop. I’ve tried all the other methods to sign in, and it does not work.

Search bar takes too long
I’ve used Edge on mobile for about two years now. It used to work great and was my preferred browser. However in recent months, I’ve been forced to switch back because the search bar is now barely functional. When trying to open a new tab, it’s just frozen for 10-15 seconds. That’s unacceptable. It’s not my phone because I know multiple people have this issue. Microsoft should have fixed this by now.

Recently whenever I switch tabs, the tab I return to scrolls back to the top of page. It does not reload the tab, just scrolls to the top.
Extremely annoying as I quite often have to reference multiple tabs to do my work.

Lying garbage
So microsoft gives you no option to not use edge on desktop and constantly sets it as the default or changes settings to force you to use it and the only reason i downloaded it on mobile was them oromusing 10 entries into their contest fir diwnloading the app, logging into your account and setting it as default in a huge notification popup that was blocking half my windows and stopping me from continuing my work, but you complete that process and get nothing so windows forces me to use it on my desktop enviroment and lies to me to con me into using it on mobile, and there is zero benefit to using it other than getting rig of tye constant nagging prompts windows puts into everything trying to force you to use their software after they forced me to use their os when they upgraded my system from windows 8 pro to windows 10 home without my consent and stripped away functionality i had paid for only to attempt to force me to pay for another licene to get it back
Unusable
It won’t let me get through filling out forms online. When I go to click submit buttons it freezes up. Every other browser works just fine but not edge. Garbage product. Also AI is killing humanity.
Forced to move from Authenticator
Absolutely terrible as a password manager. Was forced to me to this from Authenticator and it’s a huge step backwards. It never just works and half the time I have to find the password and manually copy paste. Just terrible.

Very impressive work on Read Aloud. Automatically scrolls while allowing manual scrolling, then continues automatically once refocused. Just hoping for automatic scrolling to come back to reader view. -- EDIT: docked to 3 stars b/c TTS keeps switching to offline voice while connection is strong -- Review for your leading FREE text to speech. THANK YOU MICROSOFT. Could use a couple reader mode bugfixes but WOW thank y’all. - edit: hey ur privacy nutrition facts are scary, browsing history linked to me? User content used to track me?

Was good, great even, until this recent update which removed all the controls, including the “filter” button, from Bing Image, and now AI decides what images are “relevant”? So much for being in control
Time limit
I don’t like how they change the time limit you can talk to somebody and I don’t like how you have to be 18 or plus to get it removed
