Stupid update
This update to remove lens as a working product is stupid and ruined the app. I hate this. Thanks for limiting the scam to ONE FREAKING page
Not good on iPhone
Syncing is terrible on a iPhone. I work in corporate Sales and I have a Windows computer. Every time I open OneDrive on my iPhone to open a file it has to re-download all the information and it defaults back to OneDrive even when I’m in Word. I have a Word document open. I’m working with and then I switched to a different app. When I come back to Word it’s shut. It has to re-download the information and it’s so annoying. I have to find a different cloud storage app to use between windows and iPhone.
Puzzle thing is awful
Can’t get past this godawful 5 part puzzle thing to supposedly defeat the bots, to get in. Was this invented by masochists, just to annoy people? Graphics I see on my iPhone are horrible. I’ve tried 4 times now and get hung up on one where I can’t tell which way the animal or whatever that blob I’m looking at is facing, 3 out of 4 times the last of 5 screens, and have to start all over because there’s no option to refresh just that one page. I can’t imagine how someone with a visual impairment gets through it.
Weird features

Where is my download?!
You offer a download option in the app next to a file and after tapping it, THERE IS NO WAY TO KNOW WHERE YOU DOWNLOADED THE FILE!!!
Worthless for pic backup
Seems like I use a different app from most of the reviews. I use iCloud and Google drive and OneDrive terrible in comparison. . Photo syncing is just bizarre. I can’t figure out how it determines dates. Stopped syncing photos and had to delete and reinstall app. And it still didn’t upload all current photos. Search is just bizarre. Shows dozens of files that don’t have the search word. I’ve use office 365 for decades. With price increases I really wonder I should bother.

App closes if you try and use it
if i delete 60 photos the app just closes, 1 star is too much for this terrible app. i’d cut my dick in half before i willingly use this app again
Dysfunctional document scanner app
This is a broken app which needs weird sign in options and worst human verification prompts. Before laying off developers in the name of AI, please employ someone to watch and learn how apps like cam scanner works.

After several unsuccessful attempts to delete files, I was compelled to upgrade my storage plan.
Terrible
I want to delete EVERYTHING on OneDrive. No option to do so is listed. Going to ‘Help’ doesn’t work at all; I’m redirected automatically to ‘What is it you don’t like’. I’ve had it with MS.
Not the best app
I used to have one drive in the past but it became too problematic for me to use it was crashing my computer and not allowing me to play my games on my desktop
lens capture is buggy
When using Capture in Photo mode, it switches to the ultrawide lens of my iphone 13 pro, making it distorted and lower resolution.
Also, you should be able to use existing photos from the Photo Gallery in the capture mode.

The developer is more so trying to get into your phone rather than sign you in on your linked OneDrive app. To connect with the music audio app. They spend more time trying to chase after photos and videos rather than making the app work like it’s supposed to. Legit apps work seamlessly without a problem., YouTube, Facebook and somewhat TikTok.

Forced integration of office lens
They forced the integration of office lens without providing the full functionality of the original app. To top things off they continue to make things worse. Now it will not allow me to scan more than one page. It keeps saying limit reached, the only limit reached was my patience for your continued BS. Microsoft are you just trying to let people down?

Selecting file crashes app
Hold down a file to get into the file selection mode. Now try selecting a second file. App is frozen and eventually crashes.

Sharing album/folder
When i am trying to share folder and specifically set that no authorization required by opening link onedrive requere authorization. Why?! Sharing folder with someone outside of MS ecosphere is pain and shame as google sharing works just it should. Fix it please!

Can’t show filename extensions
It literally can’t show filename extensions when browsing lists of files. Pathetic.
You can’t see file properties/info if you select multiple items (e.g. total file size or number of selected items). Pathetic.
It can’t tell you how many files are in a folder. Pathetic.
There is no “Select all” option, you have to manually select 500 files if that’s how many you want to move. Pathetic.
When you upload a file with the same name as an existing file, I.e. a duplicate, it doesn’t ask you to skip or proceed with duplicates. It just instantly adds all the duplicates, which you now have to manually delete. Pathetic.
Syncing is terrible and unreliable compared to iCloud Drive (for example) too.

Awful PDF editor
Please improve your PDF editor (drawing on the PDFs is the worst experience). I always have to open it in a different app.
Microsoft can always find a way to frustrate users
I used to use lens. Now it force me to use this dumb app. It only gives me jpg and can’t direct me to pdf. I then tried Google Drive. Much better experience.
New update no fix
Still can’t zoom in on video files during playback on iOS. You broke this. Was working. Stopped a few weeks ago. Option still highlighted. Just does nothing. Stop changing things and fix the product I pay for. Every year.
Can’t view video in full screen
Still can’t view video in Full Screen. Search results take multiple times to locate with keywords. Very user unfriendly app. I miss Dropbox everyday. Please listen to these reviews and do something to improve it.
Embarrassingly Bad
So I tried to use this to bulk transfer some files to my computer from my phone and when I tried to move only 100 files it would sometimes say “there was an error with one of the files” and then not tell me which one it was, and sometimes I’d upload 100 files into an empty folder and then the folder would show 104 files… there are no select all buttons… I’m sure it’s fine for some use cases but a cloud drive app from Microsoft should be nearly perfect for almost every use case - it’s ridiculous how it’s this horrible. It’s amateur level, seriously.
Forced OS Updates
Microsoft insists that users run only the latest couple versions of iOS, otherwise, they make you get a new device just to run their apps. Forced updates/planned obsolescence are always bad as the users don’t get to choose what they want to do with the devices they own.
Gets WORSE every time!
Moving Lens to OneDrive is by far one the worst ideas Microsoft has ever had. I switching to another app for my scans. Goodbye!

Directed to use the one drive app to replace the lens scan to off which ms has just killed off.
One drive cannot scan to pdf, cannot save locally, cannot scan more than one image at a time and has bugs where you can’t even save the image. And requires a login.

Terrible App
Every time I try to access any files on the app, I get an error message that says: "The File Can't Be Displayed". This is the case with every single file. I then have to use the browser on my phone to log into the web version, which negates the use of the app.
Needs Improvement
This app has a long way to go to be an efficient file management app. For starters, can you please just make a way to “return home” from any level in the file structure without having to hit the back button over and over to return to the root directory? That would be a huge improvement.
Terrible app to download Videos or anything on mobile
I’m trying to upload a video and save it to my gallery but no matter how may tries it takes I can’t upload it. This app is terrible then when my video gets uploaded it’s in the pixels, the video uploads in super low resolution I’m not sure why, I’m definitely finding another source to download videos because this is just not it how am I supposed to show people these cool videos when this app uploads them in super low resolution.

Suddenly can’t save files to OneDrive from my mobile device. No explanation why.

Frustrating experience I have to sync manually
Camera upload not working unless I have app open. I have background refresh and every permission enabled in IOS settings as well as in onedrive settings.

Clear the app cache.
I just deleted all the data for One Drive on my phone. App got reset and asked me for my username and password. Logged into a synced account. Checked settings everything is on including background sync and mobile data upload and camera upload.
I took a new video and photo and was waiting for it to appear on my onedrive, but it never happened.
Then I opened the one drive app and it started syncing and uploaded the app.
There is a bug in background sync of the application and the fact that support is asking me to do cache clear instead of delivering fixes through the automatic updates is wrong.

MS Lens it is NOT
I have no idea how good or bad this app is for what it was created and advertised for, but it is NOT a replacement for the MS Lens app! If a company decides to sunset a free product for financial reasons, I cannot blame them. But the audacity to suggest that OneDrive is in any shape or form a replacement! Why did I have to spend time installing and trying to use it?! Unacceptable.

This app worked great for looking at plans and schedules and submittals but now after the update it keeps crashing every time
