Title speaks for itself. You have to disable threads, then move a message to a folder, then reenable threads. By comparison, Apple Mail somehow figured it out.
Outlook App
The app only stores locally about a week worth of emails. Searching for older emails is ridiculous. User has to click on “Load More Conversations” in order to actual load the past emails otherwise the search using autopilot cannot find the emails you are interested in finding because it only looks at the limited emails stored locally. Kind of defeats the purpose of search if you have to load everything in order to find it. The loading only goes back 5 days for each traunch, so it takes forever to just go back to items from 3 months ago. Again…unnecessary waste of time and if you happen to go out of the app for any reason, it restarts from the beginning. You must do better Microsoft.

Outlook is not what it once was and continues to deteriorate. Microsoft is pushing the subscription model to bleed every penny they can and feed their complementary AI slop machine, Copilot. Ads are out of control, search is pathetic, spam is constant. I’m just about done with this and every other Microsoft product, and don’t believe all the glowing high-star reviews you see - the facade is crumbling.

Cannot delete multiple emails, what the heck
Just awful when you cannot do something so simple as delete a bunch of emails with one or two taps. Get it together, Microsoft.

This is the worst. Constantly getting spam emails and I report them but more keep coming. About ready to delete my account.

Wouldn’t load more than 10 emails at a time, after much work it loaded more but wouldn’t load anything over 3 months old no matter what I did. Absolutely useless

Haven’t been able to get into this email for a couple of weeks now, and not for lack of trying, but now the ticket I had to watch my sister graduate isn’t accessible to me.

It’s so secure, it will never let you log in. How can I be a victim to a phishing or fraud email when I can never get in to read them.

The worse outlook I ever deal with here with the iPhone it’s really not easy and all the time you find your self doing your work again and again customers calling me because they didn’t receive any emails from my side it’s really baaaad for the business please fix the gap between apple and Microsoft

Zero Stars for the ridiculous captcha noises
Title says it all…. I’m giving every published Microsoft app the lowest possible rating due to their ridiculous Captcha requirements when trying to simply auth to one of my hotmail accounts.

I am constantly having to renew my password. I use Face ID yo sign in and there is no reason why I should constantly have to prove that this is my email. The convoluted way that you have to jump through hoops to get access again is absolute nonsense. I am sick of this app. I have changed my second email dozens of times and somehow it keeps getting added as a means of verification despite MY phone number being there as the primary means of verifying ! This is a garbage app

Today I bought a new MacBook Pro. To update email and download Outlook I need to get a code from the Authenticator App. To access the Authenticator App, I need a code from the Authenticator App, and I cannot get a code from the Authenticator App, because I do not have a code from the Authenticator App.
No Help, No Support from Microsoft. Call a number and a recorded voice says go online, go online and it asks for a code from the Authenticator App.
This is a living Hell and on Microsoft Help pages there are dozens of complaints Microsoft has not responded.
