Constantly Crashing - Unuseable
I’m having to type this on the stock iPhone keyboard because MS can’t get their stuff together. They have a working keyboard for YEARS and since November of last year it’s just been crash after crash. Nothing has fixed it.
I don’t want to sign in to OneDrive. Deleting other keyboards does not work. Offloading and reinstalling does not work. Upgrading iOS does not work. Upgrading the keyboard doesn’t work either, apparently.
If this doesn’t get fixed soon I’ll just get used to the iOS keyboard and stop using this one since it appears they can’t be bothered to write halfway decent code for a keyboard to prevent it from crashing every second. (Not an exaggeration)

Clearing data does NOT work
It used to be that you could reset the keyboard when it "learned" too many improper spellings by simply clearing the data in the settings, effectively resetting the keyboard back to a fresh state. No longer! The past 2 revisions don't do anything when you clear the data & the only way to reset it is to do a complete delete & reinstall. This is either a bug or intentional (dark pattern). I will raise my review rating when this is addressed.

OneDrive ruined this app

No longer stable on iOS
Certain applications like Safari and sometimes messaging and then not all the time but sometimes other apps, you start typing and then it will switch automatically to the default messaging app and then if you try to switch back to SwiftKey, it just goes right back to the default messaging app again.

Too Buggy - 6/19/2026
This was so great - and then it wasn’t. For the last few months it keeps reverting back to the default keyboard. I kept hoping it would be fixed but every update was just more disappointment. I finally have given up today and uninstalled the keyboard. It’s just too frustrating to keep trying to use it. Sad.
Remove the sign in Banner! No one wants Onedrive just to use a keyboard. Stop trying to force us!

I have been getting incessant ads to sign up for OneDrive. Despite closing the notification, I still get these daily ads

progressive degradation over time
punctuation insertion makes stupid assumptions about spaces, especially when dealing with multiple sets of quotations within a paragraph. the dictionary is mediocre but at least I can edit it a little manually.

Keyboard app keeps crashing as I switch between sub-options, such as emojis, text, flags. Sometimes it just crashes when I start typing, or if I insert a GIF. They also hate voice-to-text functionality.

This keyboard now has an annoying pop up ad telling you to sign into OneDrive. No matter what you do, it will pop up multiple times per day unless you sign in. So unless you want to keep closing the ad multiple times per day, STAY WAY FROM THIS APP!

OneDrive ad made leave
Pushing OneDrive into an ad in the keyboard that takes up ¼ of your screen with no option to permanently dismiss is wild. These are the dumb annoyances from marketing teams that make otherwise happy users look elsewhere. I guess I'll give Google keyboard my data now. Ugh.

Really don't need to see an ad for OneDrive every time the keyboard opens. Your can go to hell. Installed default keyboard so fast.

Continues to give obnoxious notification to sign in to Microsoft one drive that has to be excited out of at least once a day and it has gotten more buggy over the years

Holy moly take away the prompt to sign in I've dismissed it like 50 times I don't want to sign in to onedrive!

works okay enough despite apple's insistence to not let third party keyboards work properly. however, since updating it keeps reminding me that backups can be made to one drive. i don't want to. stop showing it to me every time i open a new text field. if i close it, it should stop popping up. fix this.

SwiftKey now requires you to sign in with a Microsoft login to store keyboard data. This is insane and you can't even dismiss the nag popup permanently. One more piece of evidence that tech PMs should be fired into the sun.

Superior keyboard minus the concerning predective text
The best keyboard across the board. From typing to the features and smoothness, it's superior. However, it keeps suggesting die on random occasions. I don't speak German or have it downloaded in my settings. Not to mention, there's never a sentence I'm typing that would justify that word. No matter how many times I tell it to remove the prediction it still pops up. If my mental health was in a rocky spot, I can imagine that being a tipping point for some. It definitely feels as though the keyboard functionalities have gone down hill.
Swiftkey "crashes" and reverts back to stock keyboard
I don't know what it is, but SwiftKey will disappear and get replaced with iOS keyboard mid sentence.

Love the app until now
All of a sudden there's the Microsoft OneDrive popping up on the keyboard! Won't go away!

This app used to be good, now Ms did what they always do, screwed it up. They want you to login to harvest your data and nag you about it every damn day. Avoid.

I've used this keyboard for years and am now forced to uninstall and use something different for the same reason as everyone else in the last month. People hate persistent banners. They're completely annoying and obviously avoidable. I realize this is a free app, but Microsoft has enough money and there are other keyboards to get used to.
Glitching keyboard
