Horrible
Now it’s all pay you literally get two keys now and that’s it. I like a part of it and I don’t have own and if I mess up on those so stressed, but Jesus Christ, why are you guys making it harder for people have less money to learn like I can’t buy keys I can’t do anything. I have to pay for your subscription and I don’t want to this is a scam. I fix it literally last night. I had hearts now I don’t. I’m gonna go find somewhere else.

More paywalls
The more they add to the app, the more they put existing features behind a paywall. App is not worth your time unless you pay $90 for a subscription..
Scammer
Be careful after trial you’ll be charged $90 and there is no way to get them back.

Free Users Have Nothing Now
I guess they weren’t making enough money on ads so they removed hearts and changed the system so even if your code is perfect when you’re learning, you get throttled every day. I’ve paid for Max tier before, but wasn’t going to give every student in my class Max tier, but now I guess we’ll be switching to SoloLearn or someone other platform where they can learn more for free.
This app WAS awesome
I think this app was great until they only game you 2 keys a day. Thats so cheap, like come on.
Keys ruined it
The heart system was great and it encouraged careful coding and reading instructions carefully. The keys system seriously limits what you are able to learn each days and makes this app pay to play. Bring back the heart system and this app is easily 5/5
Paid membership Account non functional
Horrid experience Horrid support. Asked for refund and they told my they can't help and to call Apple. Better options. Apple refused to refund me too. What a joke out $12.49 for an app that didn't work. No more App Store for me and no more Mimo Get a bit upset when I think about it
Waste of my money
This app let me pay for pro then when i tried to use it it would not let me continue or even say i did the first lesson garbage app
Inflexible refund policy
Update: Just use AI to help you learn, it’s so much faster! Mimo very clearly had no intention of actually helping me when I emailed them as they suggested in their comment to my original review, so they could appear “helpful” to people reading critical reviews. Slimy.
Needs to be fixed
App will not let me use practice or anything. It keeps giving me errors saying try again later
Bad customer support
I asked to be notified before my subscription ended and I wasn’t and therefore was charged. I’d create a ticket and ask for a refund but every time I try to it says my email is invalid and takes me to another page and I have to start over. Idk what it wants I’ve typed both my actual email and the Apple hide my email email and it says both are wrong despite no typos. They are holding a lot of money hostage at the moment. Super upsetting
Cannot access
I recently purchased a new phone, now the application says “oops, something went wrong” … I paid the yearly subscription for this app and I cannot use it. I’ll upgrade my review once I regain use
Poor service
I cancelled my subscription the day it renewed and they refused a refund. Poor customer service.
Would not refund 1 year subscription
They charged me a 1 year subscription renewal and would not give a refund when I asked for one that same day. Ways to cancel subscription is convoluted and cannot be done through the app if initial payment was on website.

The new update and feature is absolutely horrible. Hearts are replaced with key making learning nearly impossible at the usual pace.
Update : why I’m giving this a three star is that during practice when you fail. Mimo doesn’t explain why your answer is wrong. So they won’t be chance for you to improve on that particular question.
Learning is fun and very enjoyable! I recommend using Mimo. It’s perfect for both beginners and for people wanting to learn afresh.

Greedy
I like Mimo, but recently they removed a good feature where a person gets five hearts. These represent the number of times you can try to get the right correct answer before you have to wait for them to refill. However, they replaced it with a less superior and honestly greedy system where you only get two keys and once you use them you cannot progress any further in learning or expanding your knowledge. If you want to continue learning you have to pay unlike the previous system where you could keep going until you ran out of hearts. I really hope they bring back the old system and move away from this obvious attempt to get more money out of the users.
it WAS a 5/5 until keys
The introduction of the keys system to push you towards subscribing isn't great. I was pretty enthusiastic about using the app beforehand and telling others about it... but the keys just... it limits what you can do and it breaks the leaderboards.

Amazing way to learning and building a career path
I liked it before it stopped working.
It was great before it stopped working saying Oops something went wrong. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, has not fixed the issue.
