Just play factorio

We need the latest version
The latest version is 153, and the iOS version has only had updates up to 148… It’s making it so we can’t play most servers online anymore. With full access, this is my favorite game. I’ll change my review when we get the updates.

Terrible controls
I can’t even get past the first few steps where one has to put down the first few buildings. Text is too small. UI is too small.

Spent so long trying to draw a friggin conveyor belt properly that I screamed. It's impossible. I can't believe I wasted my money. I was hoping this game would scratch the Factotio itch but it's a pile.

No tutorial
There is a tutorial level that mostly explains the first four or five things you can build, but then you’re on your own without even a manual. Most of the UI and buildings are never explained. Don’t bother unless you want to spend many hours reading forum threads and watching youtube videos to learn how to play.
Beware - Broken on iPads.
I can’t even finish the tutorial because I can’t place buildings all of the sudden. Known issue on iPad according to posts on Reddit. It won’t allow me to request a refund, so I wasted $2 on this hot garbage.

The worst ‘tutorial’ I’ve ever seen. Even calling it that is an overstatement.
Interesting game but saving doesn’t work
Auto save doesn’t create any save history and there isn’t a way to save mid level. You are forced to go back to the start each time.
Controls are very difficult
The controls just don’t work very well on mobile in my opinion. The tutorial is very confusing and the ui doesn’t make much sense. I eventually figured out how to do things but even after understanding how things work it was torture to try and build. Seems like a game that would be fun on PC with the current controls, but building on mobile is frustratingly difficult. I think they could update the control scheme and things would go smoothly. It’s sad because the game itself seems fun but I can’t really play it
Thanks for crushing my dreams
When i saw the update i shot with excitement but when i went into mindustry and played it i figured out that the 100+ blocks were only in the new worlds then the old blocks were only in the old worlds exept a few blocks. MAKE THE OLD BLOCKS USEIBLE WITH THE NEW BLOCKS MAKE THEM TOGETHER NOW OR IM DELETING THIS PERIOD

GIVE ME TIME TO BUILD

I reinstalled this game to give it another chance and immediately remembered why I left. Fix the controls or at least make them more clear on what to do. I got softlocked on a level because the drone you play as randomly dissapeared and I couldn't do anything. Also, trying to repair previously destroyed buildings is really annoying because it move it off grid where you originally had it which makes your whole base overlap and it is really devestating for gameplay. Losing once is also extremely brutal, you have to go to your previous base and wait for resources to try again. Who's idea of fun is that? Just let us retry the level, why does it have to be so complicated? It's a really cool game, just not very good towards new players.
Annoying late game failures
Great game except for the impact reactors sudden and inexplicable failures - I had 3 reactors that ran fine in the impact map in campaign and for an hour or so after capturing the sector. I had 9k blast and 9 tanks of cryo in reserve and 500k battery power. The sector was attacked again and all power fail for no reason right before a guardian showed up - and yes I checked the forums and my design was solid and ran without issue for well over 5 hours of actual gameplay. It’s too bad, I really liked this game but this is a fatal flaw that makes it not worth the frustration of being screwed by the programming, unless you just want to mess around in creative.
Terrible Controls
This game could be great and seems like the gameplay is pretty good. The biggest issue however, are the controls. I spent maybe 3 hours on this game trying to get the hang of the controls and leaving room for the possibility I was partly at fault but it is incredibly aggravating trying to do anything, especially building. For example: Some buttons don’t work on initial clicks. There’s an annoying dragging mechanic when building that I cannot figure out what is causing it, resulting in all of the buildings I’ve placed to all be shifted x tiles to wherever I dragged it and since I can’t replicate it, I have to start over. While this dragging mechanic wouldn’t be a huge issue, the best way of placing conveyer belts is via dragging. You can’t place the laser drills unless they are facing towards the ore. At that point, why not just either: let me place it anyways or auto correct the direction. This is especially irritating when you’re trying to just plan out distances and where you want to place things. There’s also another issue I’d run into where the highlight of a building I’m trying to place disappears. The UI itself is questionable, my issue with it being that it just feels clunky and unresponsive at times. I also still have no idea what the wrench icon does although, I didn’t finish the “tutorial”, which was passable but could’ve been much better. I was really hoping for a replacement to games like Factorio and such but for mobile and while I definitely think it could be, I couldn’t keep playing while wanting to bash my head in trying to use the controls.
5 Star Game. Impossible to play online.
Ever since the Erekir update, the app will crash >95% of the time when trying to join specific servers. It works sometimes, which gives this bug so much frustration. When trying to address the issue to the actual community, they ask for crash logs- which aren’t available on iOS. The dev cannot be reached through GitHub due to lack of crash logs which leads to an extreme lack of communication and outreach to iOS users, of which 100% of them donate and fund the game, which can’t be pirated or downloaded for free on this platform. I love the game but these game breaking bugs have been around for far too long and ruin the multiplayer experience.
THE CRASHING >:(
I SPEND HOURS ON MAKING MAPS AND BUILDING BASES AND THEN IT ALWAYS CRASHES AND DELETES THE SAVE AND EVEN THE WHOLE MAP FROM MY CUSTOM MAPS SECTION! ITS HORRIBLE AND NEEDS TO BE FIXED. IT CRASHES 90% OF THE TIME! I CANT PLAY FOR MORE THAN 15 MINUTES WITHOUT HAVING TO SAVE SO MY STUPID SAVE DATA DOESNT DISAPPEAR! I SHOULDNT HAVE TO SAVE THAT MUCH. Other than that good game
lots of fun until it suddenly isn’t
if this game had even 5% more notifications about what was going on or a less insanely frustrating ui i would give it a higher review. lots of fun but you’re either winning or your aren’t. no close calls it’s either completely untouchable or you have 0 defense whatsoever
Buggy, bad controls
Can’t even get through the tutorial. Was not able to place the first building it asks you to place. It says tap on the resource to mine it, and it doesn’t mine. I’ve gamed my whole life and really WANT to like this game but the controls and tutorial were unplayable.
Stressful
This game is not fun. I couldn’t progress that far without getting irritated. It was so frustrating. Not relaxing or entertaining. Just no. I want a refund.

Are you trying to rig campaign?
I think some of my save files were corrupted, as when I captured land, the next time I came back to campaign, it was under attack. Some other lands as well such as Stained Mountains. Please fix this.
Potential
The potential is there but my enjoyment is severely hampered by timers and how difficult it is to place things even on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. This would be a really fun game on an actual computer but the touchscreen controls are not responsive enough to also have to deal with a timer.
Advanced mechanics, mid gameplay
It’s really just not that fun. Very laborious. Can be incredibly frustrating at times. You lose interest quickly.
