Keyboard Covers Links
I have been a paid subscriber to this wonderful app for a while, but the most recent update has a glitch that needs to be addressed. The keyboard rises up to cover parts of the screen that you need to click on in order to follow links and make the recipes. There does not seem to be a way to get rid of it. Please fix this! Thank you. I literally can’t access some of the information because the keyboard covers it.
Dishonest
Lists a one time payment option of $29 for premium. When you get into the app, however, they only give you the option for ongoing subscriptions. If you’re going to gouge people with subscriptions, at least be honest about it in the app description instead of tricking them into downloading the app.

Very confusing
Couldn’t even figure out to follow the tutorial. Useless app.
UX completely non-intuitive
I tried for five minutes to figure out how to add ingredients to my bar, but I could only trash them, open information about them, and add them to my shopping list. And I couldn’t find the shopping list. It’s a great idea, but it’s impossible to use.

I’ve had this app for years. Every time they update, it loses my info so I have to start over with ingredients etc. Ridiculous. Also, the new monetization model is garbage. Why would anyone subscribe to this when countless stuff exists online and in the App Store. I paid for the recipe packs years ago, so I don’t mind paying- but if I had to subscribe I absolutely would have deleted.
Beware of Subscription
There’s so much to like about this app, the art style seems to be a bit divisive, but it’s really quite charming.
Unfortunately almost all the recipes are locked behind a subscription. There’s not much value without it, and no option for a one-time purchase.

I was about to buy the $11.99 full recipe unlock, but realized there were some recipe lists in the “coming soon” category. I decided to update my app to see if those recipe lists had been added, only to find that the in-app purchases for recipe lists had been replaced with subscriptions. I really like the app, but there’s no chance I’m going to spend $12/year or $2/month on a recipe list.

Silly 8 bit interface ruins app with great potential
Disappointed that an app with so much potential would throw it all away with a gimmicky and ill-suited graphical interface approach that significantly degrades usability and function. Possible the regular UI is just as poor and not simply the fault of the cheap graphics, but I couldn’t even get far enough in basic utility with the app to test that out.
