Locked up forcing review
App is unusable, won’t let me dismiss review prompt (which it shouldn’t be asking for because I have reviews disabled)

Cannot login in to change exercise time due to: error flow code. Completely worthless if you cannot login
Not up to date
This app is not up to date with the technology. The rep I spoke with said that they have had trouble with iPhone 16 and my brand new router will not connect.
Almost useless
Not very useful. There are zero control functions, only a little bit of status information and the little bit of status information is often inaccurate and delayed for hours.

Still no access after a week
This app was great for a while. We subscribed for $80 per year and no problems. No problems until Generac demanded I change my password. I did and now it locks me out, saying I have to supply a code from an authentication app I never set up. I don’t recall Generac has that capacity. A week of chatbots, being advised to read useless webpages, and simply being ignored, still $80 down the rathole. Does my generator still work? Are we protected? Who knows? Avoid!
Cost/Value? Shameful!
For a single installation homeowner the cost charged for minimal added functionality (over the free version) is excessive. Push notification of “generator offline” should be FREE for a single generator/homeowner.
The free version is a very limited mirror of the screen on the generator - your generator could be offline for days or weeks but you won’t know it unless you open the app! (or you’re home when it’s supposed to be exercising and realize it’s not!)

Freezes on App Review Screen
Freezes on App Review Screen. I can’t even use this app because it is trying to force me to leave a review and will not even allow me to select any of the options. Therefore, I had to uninstall this garbage app.
App Sucks
I have been a user of this app for nearly 4 years. I feel like if you do not have some sort of paid subscription the app is limited in its usefulness. Most annoying is that I only log in 3 or 4 times a years and EVERY time you have to update. When I update it loses my equipment info and I have to add my generator again. C’mon Generac make this better and more useful.
The worst
Almost every time I open the app the generator has disconnected. There’s a lag time between when the generator runs and when it registers on the app, from two to seven days. Sometime never. I’m done with it.
Can’t login
Just updated the app again. Prompts me to login, verifies email, and then asks me to setup my account again. No thanks

Generac will not honor any manufacturers warranty unless it’s through a dealer. So if you’re thinking about buying accessories such as fuel monitors from Amazon or Walmart, etc., think twice. You will need to go through a dealer for Generac to honor their manufactures warranty, which equals MONEY!!!
In app WiFi setting
If the generator looses WiFi. You cans select WiFi settings in the app to redo the setup. Sometimes the app notifies you WiFi was lost and setup is easy. But if it doesn’t I don’t know what to do. The generator wants to run thru setup the app doesn’t have the selection.
Issues with app
Had to delete and reinstall several times.
