I loved the original app and never had an issue, ever since I updated I have to login online to read any of the insights. The app feel is very nice but if you want to read any of the individual research you are out of luck. I have contacted support through the email provided and received no response. I will update this review if a resolution is ever brought forward. I really like the information provided it until this is fixed I say save your money on the premium subscription.

No Customer Support!!
I enrolled for the 30 day trial at a cost of $99.96. I used the daily emails, the research option and other information provided in the app. I found the service of limited value to me and provided limited research options. I tried all the Google recommended methods to cancel my 30 day trial within 3 weeks, but NONE of the options to cancel my subscription seemed to work. There are NO options within the app or on the website to cancel the subscription.

The scam is they provide zero! They only promote their premium service to give you leads!
Beware of the subscription renewal process
If you are not planning to renew your subscription, begin the process early. They will not provide full refunds of renewal fees once charged. They offered me a 40% refund to cancel the day after my subscription renewed. Buyer beware.

Not an impressive app, it’s repeat intro from other investing websites, with the added benefit of political snark, (yes they hate Trump) Cancelling the subscription is a total escape game. Poor customer service…actually worse than poor: non-existent
I have e-mailed customer service in October to cancel my yearly subscription that begins again in November. My subscription was renewed still. I sent them another e-mail in November. My subscription was not cancelled as requested and I have still not heard back from them and it is currently December. There is no other way to contact somebody from Moby other than their customer support e-mail. No reply yet. If you subscribe, be prepared for non-existent customer service and endless $199.95 subscription service unless you file a dispute with your credit card company. I am very disappointed!

This company is misleading. Also, I have two subscriptions and they will not respond to my attempt to cancel or one or both. I made the mistake of thinking I was upgrading because the marketed to both of my emails. I have two of the same subscription. Absurd that they won’t respond.

Becareful. What the recent reviews indicate about this being a scam is true. It’s full of useless news and doesn’t provide AI based investment recommendations or portfolio reviews as its ads does. I tried emailing customer service twice and live chat never picks up. I am doing to dispute this charge and report the better business bureau and Apple Store.

Where is the 0 star
Listen, if you plan on buying this make sure you read all the reviews. Before I purchase this for 1 year I saw their IG and thought it would be a good investment. I came in here and saw a lot of people saying it’s not what they expect and they tried contacting customer service for a refund but to no avail. It’s 100% correct. The information you’re getting on here is the same info you’re getting for FREE on their IG and all they do is repost other news articles you can find for free on the web. To this day I can’t find their “stock picks” and no customer support.
Tricked into investment app
You sign up but they won’t let you cancel your subscription! When you try to cancel it say you have to talk the app developer. Okay, well this is my way of giving a bad review and telling the world what a scam this site is. They send you news that’s 10 hours old.

Customer support doesn’t reply emails
I have emailed this developers at least 10 times and contacted them on instagram to request a refund of $99 they charged me even though I do have premium service, no one has cared to answer! I will have to file a charge back with my bank to get my money back. I hate scammers and poorly run businesses.

Shady Business Practices
Avoid this scam. No clear way to discontinue your paid subscription. Nothing in the profile or billing sections on App directing you on how to opt out of future service. I found an email address after looking high and low on the site. I tried canceling when my annual subscription came due ($199.95). The charge was pending on my card. I was told I was too late for a refund. Really? The charge was still pending on my account at the time of my email.
AI driven scam
Purchased the “premium subscription” after listening to the Rich Habits guys talk it up. Never got a receipt and there was no indication on the app I was a premium subscriber, but you can bet I got charged. The information it provided was marginally useful but it’s doubtful it’ll actually help you beat the S&P. Insult to injury was that when I tried to see if I could cancel because I didn’t want to get charged again, there was no option to do so. Right on cue, I got charged again, this time double the initial subscription cost. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

App is not user friendly and overall is laid out poorly. Minimal info on the app. Would not recommend.
False Advertising
It’s just a bunch of AI generated (appears to be at least) noise with no actionable plan. I’m writing this review in April and the last Flagship Portfolio update was in Feb. it’s like they told AI to be a little snarky and write articles with no oversight. The numbers also weren’t matching in their “research” tab. I tried to get a refund just outside of the 30 day window and couldn’t get it. Pass on this one.
Too liberal with articles
Articles are extremely slanted to the left with an obsession with Trump and Musk. Just about every stock has fallen since Feb, yet Moby has overwhelmingly mentioned Tesla and Musk in their articles. Be less biased or I’m canceling my subscription.
Subscription scam
I’ve joined moby to try it out for their trial promotion. Its been 2 years I still can’t cancel the dang subscription. Unfortunately they don’t reply to any sort of communication. My card keeps getting charged every year. I’ll be changing my card unfortunately so these scammers can’t get anymore of my money. I just hoped to be able to talk to someone and cancel my account but no luck. App itself is pretty useless as well tbh, there is nothing you can’t find on any other finance apps or websites.

Free trial error
I started a 2 week free trial and I liked the app so I let it start a premium subscription. I was billed for the whole year and then when I went to log in the app doesn’t recognize any email that I have including the Apple ID I used in the first place. I emailed support and got nothing back. It’s a shame because I like the app but now I’m just out $200. There doesn’t seem to be any support team at Moby
Total fraud
I paid for a one year subscription on 1/21/2025 and had access for about a week. Tried the app yesterday and was prompted to pay again. I emailed customer service and got no reply so now I’m having to get he charge reversed by my credit card. And the stock picks they had were not anything new to me.
Do not trust
I signed up and took a free trial and they charged me for a year before my free trial was up. I had canceled shortly after signing up because they endlessly push notifications at you, with information of zero value. By law, you should be able to cancel as easily as you sign up, at least here in California where I live, which means I should be able to go into the app Without any intervention instead you have to look for a contact us email and email them and then they try to talk you out of canceling and want you to give reasons this is also against the law in California. This is a bad app and a scammy company.

New customer. Can’t access website or App. Customer service doesn’t respond. Log in credentials don’t work. They were quick to charge my Visa. 30 day money back guarantee . I’ll have to charge back through my Visa since they don’t respond to requests for help.

The worst app for investing
Worst service. Hard to reach. Don’t even bother to respond. The app don’t let you reset pswd!!! If you are paying for this you are investing your $$$ for a mediocre service for a premium.
DONT GET THIS APP
They don’t cancel your subscription and keep charging your account. I had to call my bank and get a refund to get my money back. The only way to stop subscription is to ask your bank to block payment to this. WORST STOCK APP DO NOT GET THIS.
App not easy to cancel
Like in many apps first year the fee is “cheaper”, but there is no cancel button so you can easily avoid paying for renewal, you have to email customer service, when year 2 kicks in you only get refund 40%. Year 1 was $100 and year 2 was $200. The content you get being good is debatable at best, sorry hard to recommend the app. This was my experience unfortunately.
Disappointed
I gave 2 stars because some of the information provided by the company is useful. The app itself has a big flaw because it will not synchronize with the other’s device I use when storing research information. For $99 a year it’s a bust. Don’t bother with it.
