Payment issue
The music is great but the app has charged me for an annual subscription two times in less than two months, and it still gives me all kinds of messaging within the app that I need to renew my subscription and upgrade to pro+. I already have it. There is no one to contact for support, only an AI Bot. But in the AI bot you can’t type anything, it only allows you to select the prompts it gives. I finally found one spot where I could send a message and type it, but once I did that I could do nothing more. I want to continue the music content but they are overcharging me and the accountability seems to be zero.

I paid nearly $60 for this app after trying to cancel the trial version and it still makes me pay for certain pieces. TOTAL SCAM!!!!!!
Company doesn’t care anymore
Used to be good but lately they don’t care. No longer a by musicians for musicians app it’s fallen prey to the subscription scam. I paid for the subscription and they changed their tiers and I’ve now lost access to scores unless I fork over even more money. My subscription is still active and restored but they no longer honor it since I paid for a year at a time. Salt in the wound is that scores no longer respond properly, they freeze and won’t respond to page turns, often jumping multiple pages at a time. I’m on the latest app, latest m4 iPad Pro, latest iPadOS so there’s absolutely no excuse.
In app purchase won’t register
Aside from this app basically screaming at me at every single moment to purchase some sort of subscription, when I finally do purchase a song, it never registered in the app. When I try and use the premium features for that song I own (and yes I made sure it was the correct one) it still asks me to buy it. The charge has shown up both on my apple account and my credit card.
Moreover, when you purchase a song and you forget to add it to your favorites, good luck ever finding that song without searching again. Why do purchased songs not automatically go to a favorites section?

Money grabbing
They get you to commit to $180 a year to even see what the app is about. Then, try to charge you another $60 or something to see a sheet of music.

BUYER BEWARE
Do not trust review score on here… check on trustpilot, this company is using deceptive and scammy practices. DO NOT fall for the “free trial” scam. There is no way to cancel unless sending an email directly to support. Many others claim to be billed even after cancelling through their support. I will be filing a report with the FTC and IC3 and encourage anyone else who is having this issue to do the same. Also, if you’re charged after requesting a subscription, please dispute with your bank so after enough of these go through banks stop processing payments to this merchant all together. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID OF TRUSTING THIS VILE COMPANY

I purchased an online sheet of music, and without my consent they charge me a $44.99 for a subscription I didn’t even sign up for, they have my card details and are charging me I have cancelled my card and I can even text them about it since I have to talk to an ai chat box, and I can even text the chat box since they don’t let me type out my problems on my own.

They stated they had a 7 day trial. They bill you immediately. Then Apple will not refund the charges. Not worth it. Save yourself the headache.
Buyer Beware: Pro Subscription is misleading
I fell for the trap and when they offered me a deal to get MuseScore Pro for a year for $35, I took it. Then I excitedly searched one of the paywalled sheets I wanted to play but it was still blocked. I refreshed the app and it still didn’t work. I checked if my purchase went through: it did. Turns out the Pro plan only gets you community scores, and you have to subscribe to Pro+ to get the official scores. This feels very tricky and now I’m out $35 bucks. Frustrating

Users Beware!! At one point I thought of getting this app which looked promising. Being that I’m a beginner maybe I didn’t really understand how it could help me learn music. Well I received an unauthorized charge and I’ve spent the last hour or more trying to cancel and get a refund, IMPOSSIBLE!! They will have you going in circles and circles without an opportunity to achieve cancellation, you need a magnifying glass to read all their suggestions on how to cancel, you may go directly to their website and read everyone’s frustration on this matter, I will contact our federal government to clearly point them out as a scam.

This is definitely NOT a cancel at any time site. I got stuck with a years subscription and yet every time I want to see any music it costs me additional money. Maybe I don’t understand how this site works, but I will celebrate the day my “subscription“ ends.

The app offers false advertising said free trial and nothing is free then said you can cancel in 24 hours and it’s also false and if you want to download you will still need to pay for the sheet I ended with a 85 dollar bill on 10 min

I signed up for the 1-week free trial, and canceled the recurring subscription via my Apple settings so I wouldn't be charged $180 (!) at the end of it. But then the app immediately denied me access to my free trial -- I can't view a single score -- simply because I turned off the auto-renew.

Stupid app
Every time I’m hearing music Always in two seconds this stupid notification tries to force me to pay auto scroll whatever it’s saying about. keeps popping up and does it over and over again. I can’t even hear music in peace

Keeps wanting me to pay after I’ve paid
Every time I use this it wants me to pay for another subscription. I’ve already paid. I can’t even log in now as it insists I get another subscription.

Automatically charges a subscription
I’ve purchased scores from Muse score and that’s all I wanted. I didn’t want a subscription, but unfortunately I have been charged twice with a subscription when all I wanted was just the sheet music. When I asked for a refund, they would not give me a full refund. I am very dissatisfied with me and I will not buy anything from them anymore. I’m thinking of reversing the charges on me or on my credit card because they won’t give me out return one day after I accidentally hit the wrong button.

All I wanted was an app like the desktop app to open and print .mscz files I that already created in the desktop app. Instead I got a bunch of BS endless unskippable screens of stupid questions, culminating in a crazy expensive subscription requirement with a "free trial". No thanks! Deleted!!
Can’t tell the difference
I attempt-repeat, ATTEMPT-to utilize MuseScore to rehearse my choral pieces at home. However, I have great difficulty distinguishing one note from the next when the notes are on the same position on the staff. For example, if there are four consecutive F quarter notes in the same position on the staff, on MuseScore, they sound like a whole note to me. Therefore, MuseScore is not helpful in my at-home practice-much to my wife’s chagrin.

I was offered a seven-day free trial and I was charged immediately for a full year. When asked for a refund they bounced me between apple and them… but my money is gone even after informing this situation IMMEDIATELY, within the same hour I was charged.

Absolute rip off of a program. Don’t download. Will tell you 7 days free but charged right away. Also total bait and switch constantly asking for more money not matter what level subscription you select. If you do use don’t fall for their subscription service lies you won’t get access to the sheet music you want.

Frustrating
To start, the concept is nice. I’m a paying customer and have been for years, but this year especially has been infuriating. They keep changing the layout which messes up my practice. I’m not saying they changed it once or twice. I’m saying four or five times, today included. And now it won’t turn to the second page. It’s useless now. I updated the app and I’m about to restart my device, but an app should just work! Especially one that I’m paying for. Also the 3 different pay levels is ridiculous. With my service I don’t even get the official scores. I have to pay again if I want that. And every day that I log in it wants me to buy courses. I already know how to play. This app has made me mad more times than I can count. I’m ready to pay someone else that will keep their dev team from making constant changes to the layout and one that has services that makes more sense and doesn’t make me feel like I’m throwing money down the drain while they lock songs and ask for even more money. So done with this app.

I’m scrolling to read the music and it always scrolls too far so I can’t play without pausing. Everyone in my family plays piano and we are all very upset with the poor development and greedy owners.

Charged For Free Trial
Beware of the option for a “Free” trial. I was charged immediately 127.19 USD for a limited “free” trial. This business, although has a state of the art site/app, operates using predatory/scammy enticing subscription practices. Do not recommend whatsoever.
Subscription Not Honored
I have a pro subscription but the app will not let me use it because it says it is expiring soon and I must renew it. I don’t want to renew and should still get access for the year subscription I paid for. Tried to contact their support but their Chat bot had no way of helping me. This is a scam, if it were more expensive I would do something about it but it is not worth my time.

I used to love this app. Unfortunately as the years have gone by, certain songs I used to play are now considered “official” and cost a premium to play. I also can’t even tap through the songs anymore. It gets frozen on the first page of the music and then skips to the last page instead of going in order. Very disappointing
Zero customer support, I feel scammed
I signed up for a free trial, then I unsubscribed so it would not charge me after the trial was over. I double and triple checked that I was unsubscribed yet I was still charged $60. I tried to get a refund but the refund request form keeps telling me my information is wrong even when it’s not. I’ve emailed several times but have yet to get a reply that doesn’t direct me to a refund request form, they’re all automated replies. Do not trust this company.
