I was offered a free trial promo through the application which then billed me at a slightly discounted rate despite advertising as free. More surprising though is that Apple, who usually is pretty decent at customer service, will do nothing to support me in filing a complaint against them or getting my money back. THIS APP IS A ASCAM and apple is very disappointing in their lack of support. they’ve fallen pretty far in my book

You can’t do anything on the app without the “free trial” that they will 100% still charge you for. You’re better off googling anything you can remember.

Disappointment in policy and use
I misunderstood the trial period. I thought the price was what it would start at after the trial, but no. I used it for one minute. It failed to identify the song I was listening to. I’m guessing they’re charging for the trial because too many people try it and delete almost immediately. I downloaded three other apps at the same time as this one to try the same thing and they all offered a real “free trial”. This was an expensive lesson and nothing to show, but frustration with their unusual practice.

Worst I’ve ever seen. Doesn’t ask for a genre at all. Just jumps in based on your Apple Music tbd if you use YouTube music. Bad bad bad
Humming feature is flawed & don’t get sucked in by the “paid” “free trial.”
Humming feature is horrible & no matter how common the song is it will not find it. The app confuses people to accept payment via a “free trial” but charges you anyway with a reduced price. The messaging here is purposeful. So you think you’re getting a free trial but they’re picking your pocket.

This app failed to recognize any songs. I used it one day and canceled the subscription the next day, which was well within the “free trial” yet to be charged 5.99 days later?! Unethical! Sending a complaint and refund request to Apple.

the purpose of your app is to find music and you make people pay to even do that. I should’ve read the reviews before wasting away 7.99, try to learn instead of sending some bs automated response to the reviews that are actually honest about this scam.

I should have read the reviews. I downloaded a FREE TRIAL. Just to find 1. Song . First off it didn’t work. Didn’t find the song. I cancelled the free trial the same day.
4 days later I get a charge for $5.99.

Deceptive Practices
I should’ve read the review, and then I would’ve known not to bother with this app. I made the same mistake that a previous user did, which was signing up for the free trial to try to identify a song, only to immediately be charged 5.99. Also, the whole thing seems predatory and overpriced. You can’t even use the basic functionality of the app without needing a subscription, which seems ridiculous. Why not just make the app cost money to download then?

I signed up for the free trial just to find a song that’s been stuck in my head for years. It was already strange that they charge just to use the account in the first place. I couldn’t even find the song, so I canceled the FREE week-long subscription within two hours of signing up.
Somehow, I was still charged $5.99 the very next day and for what exactly? I don’t know! I tried requesting a refund and explained the situation, but it was denied.
I wouldn’t recommend this app. It feels useless, and it seems like they’ll just take your money.

I was trying to find a song that I have been humming all day and when I found this I thought it would be great! I started humming and it wasn’t giving me anything so then I tried singing 2 other songs that I do know and it wasn’t giving me anything!
