Bad experience
I had very bad experience with this bcz whom I matched was a fraud he said he is interested and also he said he wants to test me and took 50k from me and then he blocked me I didn’t knew that there are also fraud people in this app they just use u and then left without even saying a word
Profile cannot be changed
I wrote my full name American style (first name first) and it took my last name as first. It was unchangeable. I deleted the account to create a new one, but it’s still linked to my gmail. I tried to use iCloud but it’s linked to my phone number. So that’s just unfortunate.

This app is honestly so annoying and overpriced for no reason. It’s full of glitches that never get fixed, which makes the whole experience frustrating and unreliable. Basic features barely work properly, yet you expect people to pay over $30/month just to access limited filters? That’s ridiculous. Not everyone can afford that, especially students.
The filters are extremely restricted unless you pay, so the free version is almost useless. It feels like everything is locked behind a paywall while the core app itself isn’t even polished.
Shame on the developers of Muzz: Where Muslims Marry for charging premium prices for such a poor and buggy experience.

How do you put paywall behind liking someone back. This is literally core feature.

You need to add a proper distance/radius filter. When I used the app I was getting random likes from much older men halfway across the world, which makes the experience frustrating. It also seems like some users were using outdated photos to misrepresent themselves and target women living overseas. This app really needs better controls and verification.
Also, I’ve come across profiles from American Christian men with children (including from military backgrounds) on the app. It feels like some assume young Muslim women will overlook major lifestyle and background differences. Clearer filters and expectations would really help improve the experience.

The free plan is virtually useless because only lets you filter by age, sect, location, ethnicity. Nothing about actual personality and compatibility. It’s not conducing to finding a match.
$32/month is WAYYY too much for anything more than that. I have to pay hundreds per year just to filter out unverified profiles??
Developers seem to either think only those who make enough deserve to find love, or they’re ok with exploiting the desire for connection within the Muslim community.

Too many fake profiles
I have been on the app for about a month and have had multiple requests from guys that are not who they say they are. The profiles are fake, the guys have no digital footprint anywhere else, no social media presence and their phone numbers are associated with other names that are not their own. I reported this to the app and got no response.

This app is just a scam you have to pay so you can see stupid things , i don’t recommend to download it at all

Most (if not all) of the women on here are just looking for attention. Nothing serious. Not to mention how picky they are and everything beneficial being locked behind a paywall. Stay far away from this garbage. Don’t waste your time. This app has nothing to do with Islam and will just make you even more frustrated. Especially if you’re a man.

I left a comment / post on their social platform within the app. Wasn’t threatening or polarizing but responding to a the recurring theme in that thread which was red pilled oriented . My comment was deleted … they discriminate against Muslim men.

Muzz claims to help Muslims find a spouse, but then puts basic features behind a paywall. Charging $30 just to like people unlimitedly-and still not allowing proper communication-feels extremely predatory. This shouldn’t be monetized in a way that limits genuine connections. They are ridiculous !

There's an Egyptian girl on here named Mariam, based in South Dakota. Avoid at all costs, she will string you along. She did that to me for 2 weeks. If you're looking for someone sincere who won't string you along, protect yourself by avoiding her by any means necessary
Billing issues
I used this App for 2 months with payment, regardless it’s useless but even when ended my subscription and stop paying they keep withdrawing from my account although I already ended my subscription and I sent an email a month ago with billing attached from my band account and no body responded and I sent other email today, the worst dating App ever , I need my money back !!

Purchased a gold subscription and got logged out. Tried to log back in but the sms code doesnt work… keeps saying wrong code. Tried dozens of times over the past couple of weeks. Waste of time, energy, and money.
Overall this app is not good. Companies nowadays think of this as a business, they don’t care if you find love and they hope you don’t so you can fill their pockets. I feel guilty and ASHAMED of my myself that I gave them 20 hard earned dollars for a WEEK of basically nothing. The filters don’t matter because if you set them to pious characteristics, you will find no people. It also doesn’t matter how you are compatible with your answers, who cares? Imagine charging 5 dollars for a man to send a message to a woman. Not even t mobile does that. And the boost feature is also useless. It says muzz is more busy in your city than usual, and then when you use your boost, it shows you people ACROSS SEAS and people out of your filter, just pointless putting you on other people’s app for no reason. This is a business prying on people who want halal. And it just makes my self esteem take a hit, because we are no longer people we are objects being swiped right and left on so shallow. So you don’t know if you are one of many being talked to, and you can be ghosted any time. This is a waste of time, money, energy, and i get SIN on the day of judgement piling up by the amount of non covering woman I’m looking at. I would’ve rather spent my 20 dollars on a different marriage service.

If you’re not a paying member you can’t see who likes you and if you do you have to pay to unlock to see. The creator of this app got really cheap and is money hungry they don’t want to give the basic features to non paying members. App also has a million glitches and they never get fixed. This app used to be decent when they gave the non paying members some features now they’re super cheap and want to charge for every single feature. They also use your picture if you deactivate your profile. Just to make people think they have a ton of members they also have a ton of fake profiles. This app is horrible paying or non paying!

I paid for a two months subscription. It was a complete waste of money. The platform claims to be focused on serious marriage intentions but in reality, it feels like a typical dating app. Most users come across as misleading and manipulate about their intentions. If you are really looking for something serious, this app would not be the one.
