I was disturbed to see the Gulf of Mexico referred to as the Gulf of America. I’m done with this marginal app!
Disappointed
From the reviews, I thought this app was going to be amazing. If you like lightningmaps dot org, this app is nothing like it. The map is not live and you have no clue where the current strikes are occurring if the map is full of red dots. There’s no yellow dot circled in red, the colors don’t change as time goes by and no sound circle. I get lightning alerts through my local tv station app. Money wasted!
Bad data
The tracker showed a line of lightning and convection over Atascadero this morning when in fact there is no convective activity anywhere nearby. Bad data can mean bad forecasting directly affecting launch operations at nearby Vandenberg Space Force Base. Bad on ya.

No more live radar in Mexico.
I enjoyed this app for years, mainly for its live weather radar capabiiities. But it no longer provides radar for Mexico. Incredibly disappointed.
I used to love this app
I used to love this app and relied upon it for several years. Somehow, my radar stopped working. The lightning tracker was excellent and worked in many places in the world.. most recently the regular lightning tracker radar stopped working, so I upgraded to lightning tracker pro. My radar is still not working and I contacted customer service but no resolution. Hoping that they’ll solve the fix.

Pretty good. Notifications are super handy
Works good most of the time. Radar overlay rarely loads. Lightning notifications are really nice feature.
Doesn’t work in real time
Used this app three times now on a golf course. Each times as storms approach lightening can be see or thunder heard before warning issued. Have check settings and range to notify set to 5.1 miles. Impossible to use in real time. Checking map shows a strike of 0.03 miles from current location.

Have had this app for a long while, recently began getting popup notifications every five minutes.

No difference with Pro
I expected more features and detail by purchasing the Pro version. However, there is absolutely no difference between the free & Peo versions except no adds. For that, I could deal with the ads. Very disappointed.
