None of the content is free and there is no trial
App description makes it sound like you can utilize free content on the app and sign up for a subscription to have access to *new* recipes. However, all of the content aside from the “About Little Food Critic” section is locked until you subscribe. App looks a little outdated and clunky so without any sections open or a free trial, I’ll be going with one of the many other baby/toddler recipe apps out there.

Downloaded and will be deleting shortly after opening. I’ve read the comments from users with the same issue as me, and the responses are a copy and paste excuse saying it’s clearly stated in the description…there is only mention of a subscription once and it doesn’t state that it’s required to use the app. It’d be nice to get a preview of what I’d be subscribing to. I don’t want to have to go on a website or IG to view recipes. If I wanted to do that, I wouldn’t have downloaded this app.

Wish they advertised it's a pay to use app
Deleted shortly after downloaded. As a SAHM I unfortunately am on a strict budget don't go out to eat and make everything from scratch. Follow MLFC on Instagram and this came up on my advisement feed. I thought just like her website it would have the free recipes. Wrongly mistaken I like to get inspiration but I can't justify paying a subscription for something I won't be able to use all the recipes for. UPDATE: I read the whole description and it doesn't state it's a monthly subscription. I only found out when I downloaded the app. And I when originally mentioned that I was referring to the ad I saw on Instagram to download the app. Or would have been nice to know ahead of time, so I could consider if I would have wanted it rather then be surprised that I literally couldn't do anything unless I upgraded in the app. Like there was no free trial to see if it would be something I would like to have a subscription to 😔. I am guessing the description they were referring to was the other app on the "free" on saying a monthly subscription but that is misleading because it makes it seem like there's a free app when it doesn't allow you do to anything but upgrade to the subscription 😕

Would be nice if Instagram posts indicated it’s a paid subscription. Customer service responses also seem to be very snippy to bad reviews on this topic. You can tell me it’s detailed in the App Store all you want, I guarantee everyone who complained like me downloaded straight from the search screen, excited to find something that might be useful for struggling moms. You do you, I’ll do me. I can’t justify another subscription without any samples, and going eight different places to find said samples is a waste of time. Hopefully you can take some of these reviews to heart, instead of flippantly trying to “educate”. It comes across as rude and unprofessional.

$1.49 for one-two recipes a month
Didn’t think it was worth it for the monthly subscription as only a 1-2 recipes would be uploaded per month. Disappointed.

My wife got this app because she heard good things. Tried a couple recipes and cold likes them. But she works so I have to make the meals. We share family icloud account and can both download the app. Issue is there's no login for us to share so she can plan the meals for me, you can't even share/send the recipe via iMessage. She literally has to take screenshots and send to me. That's not efficient or easy. Not worth it for that issue alone.
Ok breakfast recipes, gross dinner recipes
I really wanted to like this app. Some of the breakfast recipes are good but the dinner ones are more of a miss than a bit. I just made the Chana masala sauce and it tastes disgusting. I wouldn’t want to eat this let alone give this to my baby. I understand this is a business but goodness, there are mothers on the other side of this with less time on their hands to make second dinner after the disaster of making one of the bad recipes. Not worth the money.
