Lifetime subscription is a scam
I bought a lifetime subscription with NerdAI on my old Android phone, and got a new iPhone. tried signing in my old account, with no success. Turns out customer service sees lifetime subscription as Device-specific. Meaning, if you want to save money and buy the lifetime purchase and you lose/break your phone or ,worse yet, it gets stolen, that’s on you. Not fair at all!

You took $6.99 again in Jan. 2026 when I had canceled a year ago, and yet you are still able to take $ from me, how and why? You owe me, and should refund me back all the money you have been taking from me every month since I canceled a year ago with you!

I cannot find anywhere to contact customer service. My daughter subscribed to this app for a free trial without my consent, on her tablet. I was charged yesterday. When I emailed the email address connected to the charge, no response. When I searched the app and click on App Support there’s a page not found error. I need a refund, how can I reach customer care service?

I recently had this app. I got the free trial but ended up canceling it BEFORE THE TRIAL ENDED!!!!. It still tried to charge my card after the fact that I already cancelled it!!! DO NOT BUY

this app is like all the other ones. You try it once and it works out perfectly fine but the second you try it again it pops up with the “nerd ai pro” and you can’t get out of that page and it just wants you to subscribe so don’t get it unless if you only want one of your problems solved

You can’t do anything unless you buy the subscription so it’s a waste if you download it. You’re better off using just regular ChatGPT if you need help.
It’s completely mandatory to pay
I downloaded the app expecting that there may be some things I can’t do if I don’t have a premium or wtv but after a few snaps of my homework, it wouldn’t let me use the homework scan feature. On top of that, everything I tried to use on this app costs money. Like no I’m done… thanks for nothing I guess

You know it would be a lot better if it was free it says it made it look like it was free from what I can tell you only have three chances before you NEED a subscription I mean if it was just watching an ad to get more chances that would've been fine but no you only have a certain amount before you need to do that so it's terrible if you fix that then maybe

Make account accessible through the app
I can’t access my account and don’t know what email I used, it’s extremely difficult to handle. What if I don’t have access to the app and want to go online, I’m paying 39.09 I think I should at least have access through my account info inside of the app so I’m able to use the web version. I don’t know what email I don’t know what email or account I used through the app do I have no way of accessing this through the web. I’ll change my review once this is fixed.

so sorry guys this app only lets you take a couple pictures before it makes you pay for any more. every time i try to take a picture and get answers, the screen for pro payment comes up. i highly recommend gauth ai instead, MUCH better app

I hate this app!
The automated subscription renewal sucked my money out of my bank account without my authorization TWICE!! IT STOLE MY MONEY TWICE! And worst part about is that I don’t get a refund! I need my money to live, I don’t need some useless app taking my money without authorization and stealing the money I need to survive!!

Okay so I needed a new ai school thing so I see these ads for nerd.ai and I download it without looking at the reviews BIG MISTAKE! when I open the app it shows me how the app works then BOOM “nerd.ai premium” and I was like woah I thought this app was free? It never said I needed to buy premium and it’s like 40.00 dollars a month?! Like in this play out? No thanks! You download it yourself and see if I’m lying if this “premium” trash gets fixed I’ll update this review but as of now it’s a nope from me !

I looked up FREE ai helper and this app was one of the first options, it’s a great help with tutoring and goes on in depth descriptions that will help you genuinely understand what you’re looking at. However, the moment you decide to cancel your subscription it stops working entirely. It won’t let you use it for the rest of the time that you’ve paid/subscribed for. It will simply tell you that there is an error and to try again later. However, there is no later, it simply, as I said before, ceases to work. I would much rather it just tell me I’m unable to use the app anymore simply because I’m not paying any longer. Instead, it lies to your face which is very unprofessional and extremely frustrating and confusing.
Closes out immediately
Idk if this has been an issue before, but today, every time I try to open the app, it closes me out right away. I really need it for tutoring. Please fix it
