Stop with the mandatory updates
It seems like every few days, there’s a new update and all of a sudden it forces me to update it or lose access to the service. I have a widget on my home screen, and it’s blacked out a lot of the time unless I update it first. Please stop doing this, it’s too much.

Nintendo is greedy & weird
Imagine striking down YouTubers for being excited to share content that’s released from their favorite game corporation. I’d rather watch/listen to YouTube videos than download this crummy app. All these nintendo apps & software just to not gain ANYTHING besides the opportunity to purchase their games & or movies & shows, add a reward system or an incentive for being a real fan. Nvm that’s too much to ask, it’s Nintendo, what am I saying? But you best believe I’m not keeping this app & taking up space on my iPhone for this B.S. 😂 what a waste. This corporation could’ve just put the money used for this app into better products, features, or anything else.
1 star for a greedy company
Nintendo charging $100 for literal plastic and offering paid dlc for a game that isn’t even out is wild. This isn’t about the app. This is about putting a foot down.

Useless app
This app serves basically zero purpose and actually takes away from cooler announcements, because nintendo feels the need to use it for something. Splatoon raiders was a way lamer announcement just being dropped on nintendo today instead of in a cooler setting. Especially with zero sign of a release date it feels like they just had to use it. I hope its the last, absolutely bummy app and hardly functional or shareable too.

Too many issues
I’ve downloaded this app several times and every time, the videos won’t play with sound. I see no settings that can fix this. I tried to report a problem in the App Store, but it won’t let me proceed, in any way, two steps into the process. I love Nintendo, but this is bad. App hasn’t worked for me since day 1.

Refused to work after an update
Before using the app two days ago, I had manually updated it in the App Store, but afterwards, it still asked me if I wanted to update it and refused to accept that it had been updated. I tried deleting and redownloading it, but now I can't download it again.

Waste of Time & Space
Was really hoping this app would keep me up to date on all the latest Nintendo news, and not require I find things out from twitter. Unfortunately that’s not the case. The app is cute, but it’s not providing any useful info or even the same info Nintendo posts on its social channels. Total waste and disappointment.

Tried the new “Calendar Link” feature but even that doesn’t work. I have it turned on, am unclear on what “calendar design” means but have selected a couple of my iOS calendars, and yet nothing shows up on my iOS calendar for this app.

Stick to Mainstream Platforms
If a company wants to migrate its customers from mainstream media platforms that they likely already have installed, the new application ought to be feature-rich or advantageous in some aspect to warrant the move. This app has a worse interface, and lacks basic features (like a share button), making it a major inconvenience over using other media outlets.

I’m not turning my ringer on every time I look at the app. It’s an easy fix, please handle it in a timely manner.
Forgotten and uninstalled
I’m a very long time nintendo fan and I still really like nintendo, but this app isn’t useful at all.
The all video format isn’t useful for how people use their phones for this kind of information.
The calendar animations were amusing for a few days but I had no reason to open the app.
For actual nintendo news other forms of social media were more useful while i had it installed.
