Awful customer service
Given that this medication is so powerful, it is their responsibility to have even basic customer service to support clients. They do not. Prepare for your account to get mishandled over and over again. Loved the app-their call center and long delays in response to serious issues is horrific.
Avoid this Program
My onboarding experience with Noom’s medical weight loss program has been incredibly disappointing.
I enrolled hoping to receive an oral weight loss medication, but the prescribing provider mistakenly prescribed an injectable medication instead. I immediately reached out to have the error corrected, but it’s now been over two weeks, and I still haven’t heard back from the doctor despite sending multiple messages.
I’ve also contacted Noom’s support team several times. While they’ve been polite, they’ve repeatedly told me they can’t reach the prescribing provider or resolve the issue themselves. As a result, I’ve been stuck paying for a service I haven’t been able to use.
To make matters worse, Noom has refused to refund the $150 I paid, even though the issue was caused by an incorrect prescription on their end.
Mistakes happen, but what concerns me most is the complete lack of communication and accountability. If you’re considering Noom’s medical weight loss program, I’d strongly recommend looking at other options where providers are responsive and customer support is actually empowered to help when something goes wrong.

Stop with the stupid animations!
The animations and “enhancements” are terrible and make the app so slow it’s unusable…
Charges $149 even if the meds never arrive. Promised a refund but charged me ANOTHER $149 instead!
Choose a different company
No flexibility in changing medication
I had filled out my intake paperwork listing Ozempic as a med that I could not take. That is still what I was subscribed. Even though I caught it in a matter of minutes, they wouldn't cancel it so I paid for my first shipment while contacting them to cancel so I could try the Trizepatide. It was told they wouldn't cancel cancel so I could rejoin for the other med but they continue to bill me and ship me more medication that I cannot use. Always telling me that they cannot cancel until the end of my subscription. Even though they had agreed to do so in the beginning, they won't honor it so I am out 6 months worth of money with meds I can't take. They are not for the customer at all. I have found Alt Rx who has been amazing to work with and only ship as needed on your medications. I just can't believe Noom has been so difficult to work with. I will even be closing my bank account to keep them from getting any more money from me. Wish I had done it sooner.
App won’t load
I spend way too much time getting this app (which I pay handsomely for) to load. I’m constantly reloading the app, turning off my phone, and attempting to solve access issues. It’s getting to the point where I wonder if it’s worth all the hassle.
Loved Noom and then they added the horrible concept of seeds
I was an avid fan of noom. But then Noom decided it knows better than the paid users. Added the concept of seeds that I do not care about. But they will not let you opt out of seeds. The annoying part is every so often they give you the stupid seeds as rewards and freeze up the screen for 30 seconds or so making it impossible to use Noom when you are in a hurry.
I have complained on their user forum and Noom has blissfully ignored my request.
I don’t have a problem if other people want to use seeds. But just give me the option to opt out. Not possible.
I am NOT renewing my noom subscription.

Money pit
Don’t do it. The “Dr’s” that oversee your plan don’t do anything and can’t even answer basic questions about doses!!!
Pro big pharm
I didn’t even get signed in fully before you people shoved GLP ones down my throat. And then have the audacity to charge nearly $300 for your program? You do realize GLP ones do what your program will do, right? People use it to lose weight quickly. Your system is not designed to help people lose weight without drug drugs.
Horrendous App and Services
I literally never put reviews on this store. Ever.
I felt I had to because I truly feel like this has been the worst customer service and app experience I’ve ever had.
Ordered the GLP 1 on the 10th. Still no medication in the mail.
I have not been able to open the application once because it keeps crashing on me and customer service has tried to provide the same exact solution 3 times.
I’ll be canceling my subscription (BEFORE IVE EVEN RECEIVED THE SERVICE!!!) and taking my business elsewhere.

Buggy
Issues on iPhone. Very buggy with material not fitting into normal screen view
14.22 version broken
App is loading very slowly; buggy, simple things like logging meals won’t save I’ve tried closing and reopening the app, offloading and re-installing, even turning my phone on and off in between those steps
1/3 of Screen cut off
I wasted time and money on the trial...I can't even read the info on the app. 1/3 of the screen is cut off. Do not recommend.
Always broken
Always broken. You have no working help. It did not used to be broken all the time. If I did not have home I’d get my money back and call it a day.
I thought this was about me...
This appeared to be the easiest way to get the help I needed/wanted, however things as simple as tracking weight loss are clouded by nonstop ads and app pops about things that are irrelevant. Even as a paying customer
GLP money grab
Asked about 3-5 questions to determine I need a monthly subscription of GLP. No goal setting or meal planning - just medication straight out of the gate. Did not ask if I was postpartum or nursing. Total money grab and absolute waste of time. Go to a doctor for meds always.
Don’t do their glp 1 bait and switch
I signed up for their glp 1 program it stayed after 150 a month trial it would be 250 for 3 months of medication and clarified as well and then when I check what my charge is going to be I see 747 dollars screw this place
Fraudulent charges over $300
I signed up to be charged weekly, and was charged over $300 for the entire year. Also the app wasn’t working and I complained about receiving articles. Other reviewer also report that the app hasn’t worked this year.
horrible program
the download is hard to do
Unreliable app for cost
The application fails often on iOS. There is actually no way to contact your coach, even though you’re paying for the service. Your coach chat and virtual assistant will be grayed out. It will show as an archived conversation and not permit you to send any messages to them. You can try chatting and waiting for an actual person to go into the chat. That is at least 30 minutes or never.
Dysfunctional app- no resolution
BEWARE. My app has been dysfunctional for over 5 weeks and the company hasn’t fixed it and will provide no compensation for the loss of use “because I purchased through Apple subscription”. The T&Cs say the company has no responsibility for the app to actually work.
Too cute
The latest update forces users to participate in a rather silly (to me) process of accumulating “seeds” and acknowledging each day that “I’m Committed “. If others find it useful, great but please allow me an escape by making this latest nonsense optional.
Cannot track fiber or sugar
Noom can only track basic macros but can’t report fiber, sugar, or calcium.
Stealing Money - Use a Better Service
Take caution when using this app!
I used noom briefly and didn’t have the results I was expecting. I also was told by my physician to stop the medications. I tried to cancel and was told this was successful. I was then later charged twice for $860 ish dollars when I had not used any of the noom services and was under the impression the subscription had been cancelled. I spoke with someone several days ago who said both payments would be refunded and my subscription was now cancelled. I saw only one refund and was still getting messages from noom. When I called back today they suddenly said they would not refund the second payment as “I do not qualify” and I had to re-cancel. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they said they can’t transfer, but that someone would call in 5 minutes. I never got a call.
There are other cheaper apps and sites now, I recommend those if you don’t want to deal with unhelpful customer service and basically throw your hard earned money straight out the window.

Over Priced and Hard to cancel
When I was using the app years ago it was about a full stomach even with high sugar foods like grapes. May work for some that can tolérate a high glycemic index. Very hard to cancel on an Apple phone and e mails to noom are worthless. Many actual gym options for less money per month
App sucks doesn’t load
The app just perpetually spins with “accessing your account”. Tried reaching out to customer support with no results. Still manages to send so many reminders that I can’t do anything with. SO ANNOYING
Another app forcing us to use ai
I’ve use this app for years for tracking my food and weight loss. I stopped using it for a bit and came back today to log my meal and I noticed that logging your food manually is now locked and requires a paid subscription!! You can take a photo of your food, which is not accurate and you can speak it, which is also not accurate like literally this makes no sense at all! Finding a new app NOOM SUCKS
Junk Science
This app told me I had a bunch of metabolic problems based off, from what I understand, my BMI, under the auspices of of the “face scan.” My BMI is what it is because I go to the gym every day and am naturally very muscular. I don’t see how this kind of “analysis” is even legal. I’m sure they were going to try to sell me the GLPs. GROSS.
Scam
Definition of an AD. u answer 50 personal questions just to pay $10 a week to get any further.
Extended Trial
I was going to cancel this app (full transparency I just wasn't keeping up with it) and they offered an extended free trial. So I figured, sure, why not. They still charged me when the original trial ended. Way to make a good first impression.
Couldn’t get the program I wanted
I saw an ad for noon, offering a program for aging and metabolism. I thought I’d give it a try, since I’m post menopause and could use some guidance.
I went through the process and downloaded the app. The program they gave me was diabetes prevention. I don’t have any close relatives with diabetes, my blood work is always in the healthy range, and I had a continuous glucose monitor and I was fine. No signs of prediabetes.
Contacted Support and let them know all this and asked for the program I thought I signed up for. The agent told me “ the specific course you mentioned isn’t included in your version of the app.” But it’s the one I clicked on, so I don’t understand why not.
All this to say, I am deleting the app and looking elsewhere.
Be true to your advertising. If you’re advertising a program and someone clicks on that link, give them that freaking program, not something else.

Trouble with App
It has been locking me out.
App won’t open without coaxing
Not sure which update caused this bug but the app just shimmers when it’s opened. This behavior has been in place for over two weeks now and has caused me to miss logging because of time constraints. I typically have to try opening the app a few times before it’ll actually open. Not sure if it’s the bundle size, a race condition, or a server issue. And before someone responds asking me to take the extra step of contacting another support channel, I’ll say this: I’m a software engineer. I have to test my code on several devices and operating systems as part of my job. I see there are a few reviews mentioning this problem. At this point, just do the work of testing out the app on all supported iPhones ( I believe iPhone 8 is still supported). Test it against the version that worked prior to customers reporting this issue.
Questions after questions
I answered all the questions. Twice. And there are too many if you’ve done this before. I just want to review plan options.
Not so good weight loss tracking system
I got this using the upgraded app and finally decided to continue with the no paying option- terrible!!! You can’t track your exercises. To enter any item you have to go through multiple screens and hit done like three times- just not user friendly. Also, if you have a meal on repeat, unless you make it into a saved meal, you can’t just repeat the lunch from yesterday- very inconvenient. And don’t even get me started on the font size in anything you might need to read- the font is like a 6 or 7 size font and there is no way to adjust the size, so short of having a magnifying glass with you at all times it is not convenient if you are out and about and want to add something you are before you forget. Just not a very accessible or user friendly.
Food search broken.
I don’t know what you’ve done recently but the food search is nearly unusable. It used to know what things I typically ate for certain meals and would display those first. Now I get tons of items I never eat displayed along with multiple listings of meals I’ve created; the same meal may appear 5-10 times. I need a new app.
Extremely slow
Too slow that I’m unable to load the app
Awful meal tracking
I have used other meal tracking apps and by far this is the worst tracker ever!
Turn off haptic feedback!!!
I have a visceral negative reaction to haptic feedback. I have it completely turned off on my phone, but I’ll have to shut off all vibrations to shut it off for this app. This is ridiculous!!
I need my vibrations as my phone must be in a complete silent mode at work and Noom has decided if I want their app and to get get silent vibration notifications I have to endure jarring haptic responses in the daily use of their app. I’m really hopeful this app could change my life, but will discontinue my program and work with a less effective one to avoid this.
Do better.

Bloatware
Don’t get me wrong the app will get you results but that’s not what we’re reviewing here. We’re rating the app.
It used to be a great app. And it still could be, if you can tolerate all the animations and extra bloat. Ironically, for a weight loss app, it’s become a bit bloatware itself.
If there were an option to subscribe to a stripped down version focused just on food tracking, and weigh-ins I’d sign up in a heart beat. I don’t need the animations, I don’t need to redo the course, and I don’t need ll the extra fluff. I just want a clean, simple way to track what I eat, because that part of the app is genuinely the best I’ve used!

Noom slow response
Every time there is an update, you have to open the app at least three times to get it to load. This is very frustrating and annoying. It need to be fixed?!
Linking
I am trying to link phone and iPad nooms. Can’t figure out to get food connected up
Poor Tech Support
The tabs at the bottom of the app have disappeared. I have deleted and reinstalled the app and every other thing I can think of to fix it. I can’t log a free day. This defeats some of the purpose of thbe program. Tech support refused to help me and closed ticket. Happy to take my money, too lazy and inept to do the job.
A.I. sucks
Noom is terrible now. There’s way too much going on in the app. Simpler is better. It’s overwhelming how many pages and options there are and the A.I. stuff is a turn off. On the ‘today’ page there were so many ‘suggestions’ that my page froze. Instant cancel.
Food tracking is bad compared to others on the market
The food tracking feature of Noom is very antiquated compared to others I have tried. Many very common items (example from today, a breakfast sandwich that has been on the menu at Starbucks for years) are not in the database and need to be added manually. If trying to create a custom recipe when cooking a meal you cannot use the barcode feature so you have to search for each ingredient manually. For the price of this app/program, I would expect a more robust tracking mechanism.
NO MEDS and no dark mode
DANGER DANGER DANGER I had to remove another star, because I’ve waited almost 9 days for my medication. They take forever to send it to you, a UPS does not deliver it when they say they will. This puts me at risk of missing dosages, something you absolutely cannot do. THIS IS UNRELIABLE AND UNSAFE!!!
It’s 2026, if I open this app in the middle of the night, I don’t wanna be blasted in the face with a bright white screen. What on earth is there not the option to switch to dark mode? Two stars subtracted off the bat.

Color system messing with my feelings of success
The color system is psychologically misleading. Staying within calorie goals and eating healthy foods can still feel like failure because one color category goes over while another remains underfilled. Unused calories from one category should dynamically redistribute instead of leaving empty sections that visually imply goals weren’t met. The current design feels unintentionally discouraging even on healthy eating days. I feel more guilty for eating a cup of lentils than a chocolate chip cookie because I went over on yellow foods and didn’t fulfill my orange food “goals.” It becomes a psychological issue, which is ironic considering the program is based on psychology.
I also found it surprisingly difficult to access basic information about which foods belong in each color category. I was trying to figure out whether a snack fit within my goals and couldn’t readily find the information. It took me two days to finally locate it. When I used the help chat, it sent me links that didn’t work, and after I explained that the links were broken, I just received a generic apology instead of actual help. That was incredibly frustrating. Information this important should be much easier for users to access since the entire program revolves around staying within these categories and calorie goals.
At this point, I’m not sure this is the right weight loss app for me.
