It doesn’t let you add any comments in your task
There is a bug when you try to add a comment at first of all does not let you add the comment in the when I click that blue arrow button the whole app just jams and then might go back and try to open anything it doesn’t open at all I can’t even select the area that I wanna put the comment on please fix

BUG over BUGS
Full of bugs on every major use case. This is a clear sign they are not using their own mobile app on daily basis, if they would, they'd see the same problems we all are affected by. 4.8 Rating is not justified at all. The app is not usable.
I love Notion! I HATE this app!!
I have attempted to use what I create on my phone and it is impossible. They completely reorganize to make it fit a phone screen. It sucks soo badly!!!
Buggy
Hardly works on iOS. Not really worth having. Fun piece today: tried to use the “create a new page in” feature today when link a page and it just keeps breaking.

There are bugs in “Open as a sub page” or “open as a new page” and many more
The people at Notion should use this app sometime.
I can’t zoom, I can’t print, I can’t get the AI out of my face, I can’t get the system font size to affect the app, the touch targets for checkboxes are misaligned, and most of the app extends beyond the safe zone when in in landscape. For a company with such great design, why is care thrown to the wind when this app is developed? Get it together.
Deleted all my important notes
I’ve been using this app for years. I’ve logged hundreds of volunteer hours and one day the entire workspace disappeared. I contacted support and they said they somehow can’t find it? If your logging information you may need for future use, DONT DOWNLOAD
AI features are garbage
AI features are garbage. The search being AI first and actual page search in a smaller icon that requires two clicks is the worst UI design i’ve seen in any app ever. Horrific user experience due to yet another company shoving needless AI mechanics down users throats.
Won’t load
It won’t even load on my iPhone 17 pro. I tried force closing it, restarting my phone, and offloading it and reinstalling it. Nothing. Works great on my laptop though. Just trying to streamline everything.

Forced AI features
Forcing users to have to email support to get the AI features removed is ridiculous. This crazy push for mandatory AI in everything is so stupid. At least allow users a choice! I deleted my pages and my account entirely.
Too hard to sign in
I signed up. Created notes and when i try to sign in again, you send me a link that brings me back to the sign in page and that just keeps going on. Occasionally it seems like im signing in but the app just spins. If it takes 1/2 hr to not sign in, whats the point. Its a giant time suck. Please use your artificial intelligence to solve this problem quickly otherwise its obvious the intelligence part of your ai is in fact artificial-it aint real
Most important is card face with a photo and this feature has glitches…per Notion AI
Finally understand database, properties, and cards in Notion nomenclature (no small feat). I want a photo to save to card faces (gallery view) in my database. I worked with Notion AI for over an hour. Its AI would fix the issue in gallery view. I’d go into table view to edit and go back to gallery and photo was gone. I tried a bunch of different things and the card face would never save the photo.

used to love notion! it was my favorite place to write and plan, but the focus on ai completely ruined the layout that made this app so awesome. i don’t mind the idea of ai being a feature, but the way it’s overrun everything is atrocious. i don’t want my homepage to be a chatbot. i want my homepage to be the layout that i spent so long curating.

Used to love it, grown to hate it.
I used to use this app all of the time to plan and organize my life in a way that made sense for me. Lately, the bugs have overtaken the app and it has simply become unusable and indigestible for my brain. AI features have turned me away from the app as well. I am looking for a similar tool without AI, but with the same aesthetic appeal and better functionality. Truly I am disappointed by Notion.

The iPhone and web versions of Notion are themselves quite glitchy and sometimes baffling from a UX perspective. But the iPad experience is inexcusable and effectively unusable. I don’t know how the app says “Supported on this iPad” and even has an Editor’s Choice award when even if you go to Notion support to ask about all of the bugs in the iPad experience, the bot will just tell you that iPad isn’t supported at all. That isn’t a defensible position at all in 2026, and it’s incredibly misleading given the stated support in the App Store.

For me it began a few years ago when I “suddenly” lost the ability on iPhone to drag properties. The support team was slow and templates and acted a bit incompotent in the area of problem solving. I never got any real support and as a result simply used the app less.
This feature has now returned randomly after 3 years but that experience still left a dross on how this product is managed. Now, I’ve sort of normalized the app crashing 8/10 times that I use it. I’ve normalized having to hard close the app an reopen
the app to get it back functioning.
I have so much data here I almost have to use it - but in the back of my mind I kind of want out. I’m hopeful that the team will improve performance to give a bit more confidence in the stability of the system but the app has lost its glow.

Not iPad friendly
I’ve been using this app for years and I’ve always loved it. I recently switched from my laptop to iPad for college notes and the app has started glitching immensely. So sad because I’m gonna have to stop using it just because it’s not iPad friendly. I can’t even see what I’m typing because it just goes blank
Poor Experience on Mobile
Recent changes have made this app unusable. Buried subpages that are needed to be accessible have ruined my workflow. Was a good app until they made subpages inaccessible with double clicks. Subpage access is not persistent and you have to constantly reopen to get access. It’s a headache, poor design, and now I’m looking for a new solution.
Docx support pls

AI ruined it
tbh it was really good before the AI thing. now they’ve defaulted the search bar to an “ask AI” bar and minimized the search. i find it extremely annoying and it’s crazy how such a small change can ruin the user experience. i have a LOT of notes so i’m constantly needing to search and i hate AI. they’re lowkey ruining the other features too, it’s way too convoluted. i’ve basically switched back to the regular notes app on my phone
