Information locked behind a paywall
Another company capitalizing on greed. The app is free for three days then you have to pay $50 per year.
If Oasis cared about people then this app would be free to use. Unfortunately that’s not the case and information that directly benefits us is available as another subscription. Disgusting.

Biased app

I will skip this app and instead use Yuka. I had taken a three day trial on April 23rd and asked to cancel my subscription on day 3 (April 26). The autorenew part was canceled, however my subscription dint get canceled and I requested a full refund on that day itself. They have ghosted me. Wont reply to my emails.

Just another attempt at fleecing the misinformed/uneducated
Poorly defined metrics especially when compared to scientifically accepted standards, most data is scraped from free sources that are a google/gpt search away, and the attempt to profit off of mis/disinformation by paywalling freely available information under the guise of convenience is rather souring to the whole experience.
Pay only
Cannot use unless you pay
Every single things costs
Doesn’t give you a rating for anything unless you pay a subscription fee
Expensive for features not working!
Scan never picks up the bar code and photo always, every time says network failed. Doesn’t find my location when I try to set for water quality so I enter manually and still doesn’t work. Not worth the high cost! Sad:-(
Embarrassingly Bad
This app is untrustworthy and unreliable. It appears to be entirely community ran so it’s inconsistent all across the board. The scoring has no rhyme or reason. Fairlife chocolate milk was rated 1/100. The lowest possible score- basically poison. Rockstar energy drink got a 58/100 and is in the “okay” range. There’s multiple entries for almost every product. Chosen Foods Avocado Oil spray has several different entries and they’re all scored wildly differently: 13, 84, 51, 66, 16. I wouldn’t trust anything in this app and I couldn’t imagine PAYING for this garbage information
Inaccurate
What Yuka marks are 91 Oasi marks as 31 for example. Not to mention, scanned Optimum Nutrition Isolate and it came back with a completely different isolate brand. Inaccurate
Barcode scan does not work!!!!!
Barcode scan does not work!!!!!
50 dollars for a year and its so slow and sometimes wont scan
You are better paying 2 dollars for yuka these people dont care about how the app functions please have devs fix that i cant even scan items
I’m poor
If you broke don’t download this app PS I’m broke
Does not scan.
The app doesn’t even work. I’ve tried scanning the barcodes of products that I use. I’ve tried taking pictures of the front labels. Nothing works. It constantly tells me that there has been a “network error”, which I’m not sure what would be causing that, as I have an excellent WiFi connection.
Unfair forcing of annual subscription vs monthly
I’m only rating this so low because it is not fair to force an annual subscription. I don’t get to use this app because I cannot afford $50 up front? Give me the $3-$4 option a month your annual subscription breaks down to so I can use it too and I’ll change the rating.
Bought off too?
Yeah, I downloaded the app and I’m not too impressed with it. At first I was but then I found that they don’t classify silicone dioxide (anti caking agent) is something bad and also they don’t classify please Carmel color as something bad. Carmel color gives me headaches and cause cancer. Silicone dioxide causes memory loss and throat irritant. Do the research more than just a google search that says FDA says it’s fine.
Healthy is free
Now I can understand it may need money to stay afloat but any cost should be up front not pushed up on you after you’ve set things up so that raises a red flag I can’t trust it to be a honest app so what else would you lie about
No refund
Direct marketers - BEWARE - I ordered this while doing some direct marketing, and then they charged me for the app in order to post ads for them! I was furious and they won’t give a refund and it made me pay the whole year! DO NOT ORDER unless you actually know and like it! It’s is NOT worth the price in my opinion
Asked me to review
Don’t ask me to review.
Watch out for sudo trail
I thought I had several days to try out this app. Was changed
50 for the year.
I guess I forgot to cancel.
I hate this practice of having to
Purchase the app before trying. This is the new way of doing business. You can ask
Chat GPT this information and get for free.

It says bleach is plastic
Then I look at another package in the same thing. It doesn’t say anything. It would be nice if they explained.
Garbage subscription cash grab
Don’t waist your time. Use your own brain and read labels. Keep the 50 bucks in your banks account
Not At All Accurate
This app is not at all accurate. We all know that the big toothpaste brands are horrible for what they include in their toothpastes, yet Colgate and Crest is very highly rated on this app - mid 90s. There were many other concerning things I saw such as fabric softener/ scent boosters being rated in the high 90s as well. What in the world are you doing posting horribly wrong and dangerous information like this?
Come on guys.
You guys bless us all over social media. The app looks cool. Wants to be informative to the public. Once you download. It seems all good and then you force payments before they could even start seeing how good your app is. Downloaded it now I’m deleting it. I heard about it for some people that might want to get it. I’m gonna tell him don’t even waste your time. Come on guys do better your money, grabbing force in the money knock it off.
THEY MAKE IT VERY HARD TO CANCEL
They make it very difficult to cancel. got charged $47. emailed them about canceling and they didn’t help
PREDATORY
If you are looking to try this app PLEASE REMEMBER TO CANCEL THE TRIAL ON THE FIRST DAY. They are predatory with the trial period!!!!! It will technically be a 2 day trial regardless of when you sign up because they will charge you within that 72-hour period probably while you are you sleeping. Like the app, but I don’t like being duped into paying $47.00 bucks for it.
Nothing there
Scan this. Scan that. Just let me see a list of breads, jeez.
Wellness grifters
Catered to hypochondriacs. Parameters are taken out of context and severity is inflated. I recommend anyone interested invests in a course on toxicology instead. This app is a scam.
Not correct info and it charges money
A lot of the testing isn't accurate and you need to pay to use it. It's not worth the hype seen in the videos. It build for fearmongering
Questionable review practice
They have you review the app immediately after downloading and before you can login and see what’s inside. Therefore these reviews cannot be legitimate. Also everything good is behind a paywall.
What does it cost?
Are you billed $47 after the 3 free days? Most apps on apple’s store are billed monthly, and you can cancel. They don’t tell you you’re going to be billed $47. I’ll pass.
a review
Before use. Don’t ask.
Awesome concept, terrible app/UX experience
Very few app features actually work. Can’t expand chemical descriptions, couldn’t submit the “report a problem” for that (submit button didn’t work), etc. Lots of bugs. Great concept and lots of great information, user experience and interface need tons of basic functionality work. Design/product team should check out UserTesting!
Do NOT sign up
The app is glitchy and they will charge you $50 even if you cancel.
Why? Waste of money.
Yeah it kind of sucks you have to pay 3.99 a month to find out if your food and water is killing you. Just do your own research, in this economy every dollar counts, if they actually cared about making people healthier this information would be free. I understand they need to make some kind of money so run ads or have paying money be for extra features. What a waste. Also AI features. Any use of AI tells me you do not care and I don’t trust the quality or integrity of your product. Dumb app.
Free has no value, Paid required for everything!
I deleted this app within 3 minutes because no one can see anything whatsoever unless you have a paid subscription and that’s simply not fair. I’ve never been more disappointed.
The worst app I’ve ever used.
The ratings (the main selling point of the app..) need a lot of work. There are multiple (different) ratings for the same exact item. I was looking in the dryer sheets category and they have the same item rated as 90/100(great) and 36/100(bad). This is common among ALL categories. The majority of 100/100 scored items have no information, leading me to believe it’s an incomplete rating. Also it rates items based on if it’s healthy to eat. Why would that be factored into dryer sheets, skincare, and soaps? I can’t believe I wasted money on this. Just another scam. The oasis app is so bad that this is the first time I’ve ever reviewed an app on the App Store in my entire life. AVOID WASTE OF MONEY.
Scam
98% of information is useless. Overall app is glitching and misleading, something gets 100/100 because it wasn't tasted, and other gets 1/100 for same reason. 20/100 for butter because it's not organic, but 90/100 for farm raised shrimps, etc.
Scam?
All the info is locked unless you pay a subscription.
Paywall prevents using basic features
I deleted the app almost immediately after downloading it. I searched for toothpastes and it defaulted to the worst rated so I had to scroll and scroll and scroll to get to the top rated ones. It said sign up for a $48 annual subscription to see best rated products first. They lost me right there. I’ll stick with the free ewg verified app.
Useless
I hoped to use this app to research what I might buy and plan for. It didn’t work and then auto charged me $46. The only app who refused a refund.
Misrepresented and stolen data
It is wild to me that this developer appears to both steal and misrepresent data. For example, Lead Safe Mama has tested over 100 toothpastes and offers the lab test results for free on her website. Oasis takes their data and then applies the numbers to toothpastes they clearly didn’t test (for example the Hello toothpastes which LSM tested. But then Oasis applies the numbers to different Hello toothpastes that weren’t tested). This is just one thing I was able to identify was problematic as someone who works in the healthy products and lead poisoning prevention spaces. How many more data points are stolen, misapplied and misrepresented? Data is only helpful if it is accurate and correctly represented! Skip this app. You’ll do better by doing a simple Google search or using the Lead Safe Mama website so you can see the original lab reports in their correct contexts.
Lots of wrong informations
They used a large amount of Lead Safe Mama’s test data without proper authorization and have also shared inaccurate information, including labeling products with detectable heavy metals as “heavy-metal free.” I trust Lead Safe Mama’s original data far more than paying for stolen and potentially misleading content. Scam
Scam app
All features are locked and not available without the payment. You CAN NOT see any scores/rating/comments/description. Scam
What?
I just downloaded the app and as I first open it I need to rate it? lol come on now : )
DO NOT TRY
Seriously tricks you into a subscription after you have a chance to realize how useless the app is and does not offer refunds.
Not what I expected.
The app is slow, and the interface is not functioning well. For example, when you scan a product and want to scroll down to see all the harmful and “good” ingredients, the scroll function doesn’t work well. Many products are missing, including La Croix sparkling water. I expected a bit more from an app that requires a subscription at $47. Yuka is my go-to app. At least they figured out the UX design.
Charged me an annual subscription
Charged me for a whole year. Crazy.
Busy to use/limited unless you pay
Surfed around, they make it hard to use unless you pay the premium. There are much cheaper alternatives.
