Minimal Functions
Purchased VAG for Audi Now logging on message says to use OBD11 instead. Tried that and won’t link. Can’t even get coolant temp sensor readout. Don’t be fooled by the app interface. Would not recommend wasting $$$ on this
Buy Ross-Tech VCDS Instead !!!
Borderline scam that barely works. OBDEleven’s business model is to gate-keep simple functions behind a credit system. I’ve been using OBDEleven for a few years now and I have finally had enough. The slop level is high, the apps aren’t even that good, and I refuse to pay $70 again for another year of “Pro”. I’m going to invest that $70 in Ross-Tech VCDS, and I regret ever buying OBDEleven.
Avoid - expensive, time-consuming, and never worked
I purchased the device and subscription expecting a straightforward diagnostic tool for my vehicle. Unfortunately, the product never worked correctly from the beginning. The device would not pair properly despite following all instructions and spending weeks troubleshooting with customer support.
During that time I provided extensive documentation, screenshots, and photos as requested. Instead of resolving the issue or replacing the defective unit, I was repeatedly told I might need to purchase newer hardware while my paid subscription time continued to run. I even bought an Android tablet specifically to eliminate compatibility issues, and the device still would not function.
The technical support experience was especially frustrating. Responses often took days, and every interaction felt like starting over with a new person. There was no clear ownership of the issue, no escalation, and no meaningful resolution despite the amount of time invested.
After investing significant time, money, and effort, I ended up with a non-working product and no meaningful resolution. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise potential buyers to be very cautious before purchasing and to research compatibility and support policies carefully.

Frustration, thy name is OBEleven
If I could give this app negative 5 stars, I would. HATE HATE HATE this app. Save your money, it would be cheaper to have a stealership scan your VW. TBH, it worked great the first few times. Fast forward to today, 6 months later, and: 1, it won’t connect; 2, Doesn’t recognize the car, device, interface; 3 Then, it does connect, scans, never produces any results, just loops; 4 then, it does connect but, want the PIN number for the device…OK…now it won’t connect; 5 Then, it wants two factor authentication (2FA). I don’t want 2FA but, can’t disable it (I doubt I actually enabled it); 6 must download 3rd party authentication app; 7 do all that and now it wants to know who I am when I already have a profile. 8. Open the app later and 2FA needs to be set up again. Copy 52 Character code, open Google Auth and the OBDEleven is already set up and Google is generating 6 digit codes but, OBDEleven doesn’t accept them…”Code Invalid.” Screw OBDEleven and VAG too.
Crazy Pricing
They change the pricing model at least annually. Now full access to their One-Click Apps is tied to a subscription that no one will use after spending a day tweaking the settings in a car. Buying individual credits is also insultingly expensive. If you’ve used OCA features and want to change them in the future, you need to pay again.

It's completely useless! Instead of wasting your time with this, go to a professional. Don't waste your time. And then they even make you pay for shipping to return it.
Website And Tech Confirm Compatibility Realty Not The Case
I had the Carista app to register the battery in my
Audi. Being it’s different type, was advise I need to change the type and AH also. Contacted OBDeleven and they confirm the model and feature is available and compatible with my specific car. After receiving the device, all the instruction does not even match what the app shows for my car. Reached out again, they told me to look for a bunch of stuff doesn’t even exist. When I told them nothing they mentioned even worked or exist they told me to “google” or “read the forum”. They ask me if I want them to offer more in-depth help, I replied yes and they basically just ghosted me. I have search the web for couple days and there is nothing reflecting OBDeleven actually offering the feature for my car.

Vendor sold a used scanner as if it was used
There are too many reviews regarding you scanners that they are receiving new ones as if they’re new and that there is a pin that was already set on it. You need to get a tighter rein on your vendors that when they received a return that they need to send it back to you to reflash it so the ultimate pass code and be re-added to it.

I have had nothing but problems constant disconnecting telling me I need to reset my pin never got the credit that I was supposed to get with my purchase just all over a terrible company.

Frustration with AI support
Pay for a device with a pro account. Receive device 3 weeks later and no pro account. Chat with customer support for a long time to realize in the fine print that it is an ai and does not understand your request and asks you to enter a coupon code into a link that does not work. The support repeatedly tells you the same instruction as if not reading your response at all. You must not care about your customer at all.

I don’t think i’ve ever used /seen a worse app that doesn’t let me sign in or create an account no matter what i do. I’d give -5 stars if i could
Avoid in app transactions
I purchased 100 credits to change some settings, but the changes did not work on my car, despite the app indicating they would. I was unable to get a refund, and customer support has ignored my multiple inquiries. Avoid at all costs!
Doesn’t work and support isn’t helpful
OBD11 is great and as an OBD2 scanner. The pro plan even allows you to do some more advanced stuff, if it works. I have not gotten long coding to work, and that is the only reason I purchased the pro plan. I checked the internet and no one has a straight answer for troubleshooting. Just don’t bother with it

It’s set to the wrong vehicle and there’s no way to change it so everything it reads is wrong and useless and none of the credits i got are worth anything because it can’t program on the right car.

Go get a cheap $5 scanner from Ali express or get VCDS instead.
False advertising, iOS app missing many features
I bought OBDEleven after hearing it was a better option than VCDS for someone working on their own car. However, I found that many of the features one would want are not even available on iPhone!
Readiness monitors, one of the most basic OBD functions, are not available at all through iPhone. Similarly, if you’re doing anything with your system, you will need to know the specific codes for each system, as there is no drop-down list that is easy to read like in the Android version. I actually had to find a way to run android on my laptop to get the actual functionality I needed; not ideal at all.
I recommend that the iOS app is brought up to speed, and also that a PC version is made as well (really shouldn’t be hard at all for developers to implement). Otherwise, I can’t recommend this product for use with iOS.

В итоге решил выбрать подписку, приложение не спрашивало с какой карты снимать средства, я даже не понял в какой момент у меня была подключена подписка PRO. В итоге оплатил максимальную, но это ничего не дало и со старыми авто приложение не использует весь обещанный функционал, подписка по сути бесполезна. Обратился за возвратом средств, мне отказали, обжаловал, но отказали еще раз. Я оплатил стоимость подписки на год, которая почти в два раза дороже самого устройства и всё что я могу сделать, это написать отзыв. Просто потрясающе

So the old unit no longer works?
I find this a little frustrating. I bought this unit many years ago when it first came out. They said lifetime warranty and all that jazz.
I haven’t had to use it in many years. Got a new phone. Got a light on the dash went to go use my old unit and now I find it’s obsolete.
Make this right and send me the new one because I paid what I believed was a unit that would not need to be replaced along with my warranty when buying the pro version

Disposable trash, greedy developer
The dev team treats this like disposable trash, demanding a ‘next generation’ purchase, and dropping support for previous hardware. They also have a lock to specific VINs, and charge for every setting change.
It’s trash and a ripoff, get a Carista EVO or other Bluetooth OBD dongle, don’t get trapped here.

From Lifetime Access to Useless - Total Ripoff
I purchased this VAG OBD device a couple of years ago when they still offered a lifetime ultimate subscription. At first, it worked fine. But now, it no longer functions with my 2001 VW Jetta. All I get is the same error message: “Something went wrong. Try again.”
I reached out to their support team, and the response was disappointing. They blamed the issue on my car or suggested the Bluetooth dongle was faulty and told me to buy a new one. However, my BlueDriver OBD and VCDS tools both work perfectly with the same car, so clearly, that’s not the problem.
Despite my doubts, I went ahead and bought a brand new VAG OBD unit-still no luck. I tried contacting support again, multiple times, and this time I received no response at all.
It’s hard not to notice that these problems started right around the time they moved to a subscription model. It feels like a bait-and-switch, and I can’t recommend this product or company. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

Every feature in app says it’s not supported, however the website leads you to believe that the vehicle is, it’s actually listed twice. The developer is no help when I reached out. Waste of money to buy the OBD eleven device and credits which are unusable. Very disappointing. I also got the VAG subscription which does nothing.
No Support
Don’t walk, run away from this product and software. Be warned there is no actual support - it is all AI and you cannot contact a real person. The AI confirmed features of this product, I purchased, and the product did not do what the AI support claimed it did. I am now 3 days without a response on trying to figure out returns because that is the one part of their website they don’t run through AI and all the support agents are “returning tomorrow”, which it has said every time I have contacted them so far.
I now understand why everyone on the VW forums says this product is garbage. I will be buying VCDS instead.

Just awful
You can’t just buy the device and use it, you gotta buy coins to buy apps… and they’re not satisfied with that, they need to send you push notification after push notification begging you to use it.
Scam! Paid for Ultimate and zero!
I bought my unit and paid for over +$240 for ultimate device with plan for a year only to be showing zero credits and asked to buy credits! I have tried to get a hold of someone but zero responses! Horrible company!
Crashes
Does not let you work with any Long Coding, SFD protection does not change anything in the app. Always fails doing anything except to read codes. If you boght it to work on any VW 2024+, you’re out of luck.

They do not have customer service. It’s a chat bot that does not help you at all. My device will not connect I have the correct pin and it litteraly says nothing when I hit connect just deletes the numbers. I want a refund so bad. Do not buy this product it is a scam.

Some commands even take up to 100. Complete waste of money and a scam.

I paid for the device and the pro subscription. I have yet to get it to work and I’m out allot of money. I was willing to pay a premium for ease of use but that has been far from the case. I tried to get support and after no response I tried to return it. Still no response. I’m guessing I’m stuck with this brick. It’s basically fraud at this point. App has bugs and the product is completely misrepresented and falsely advertised. If you own an Audi turn to RossTech and you will be much happier with the products and service they provide. RossTech continues to develop their products and is even working on a SFD security solution for all those newer vehicles.

I really bought it because in YouTube this model supposed to deactivate Start/stop function for my Tiguan. Which is very annoying, I would have to hit the button all the time before driving.

Simply does not work how it should!
The device is faulty and does not work on iPhones. When I actually find the device on my bluetooth, I click to connect and the device connects for only a couple of minutes and then it suddenly disconnects completely.

Stop asking me to review
The app is good outside of the subscription service but the amount it prompts to review it makes it unusable so here’s my review. One star for being annoying and for this message to disappear.
Expensive
When I first bought the OBD scanner I knew they would charge for the modification parts and that’s fine. But when it comes to something as simple as resetting service intervals they want to charge you $4 per reset. Which is absurd. Useless besides knowing what code your car is throwing but that’s not worth the investment for this.
Scans and clears
That’s it, scan for codes and clear any lights. Anything more than that and you have to pay extra. Dongle should be priced at $20 if they’re going to charge the crazy credit fees to do any little thing. For a little bit more you can just buy VCDS and have unlimited access.
Nickel and dime till the end
I knew I’d have to pay for credits but this is just crazy. Put car in show mode 10 credits. Drops the car don’t can not be used again. Want to raise it? 10 more credits. Want to lower again? 10 more credits. This is a crazy business model. Everything cost money every time you use it. Just glad I bought it somewhere I can return it
