No help in test
Wish I had read the reviews beforehand. The questions in this study guide are not the ones you will see on the test. I failed my first test because of this app. Go get the official test book recommended by the .GOV website. This app did not prepare me at all. Read other reviews, they will say the same.
A scam
This app is a scam and I have reported as such to the Apple Store editors. Despite charging, it keeps asking for restoring subscription, and despite saying iPad and iPhone, the subscription is not transferred. I even see now two charges.
Little relevance to actual test
I got to the the point where I knew 99% of the answers and was feeling super confident going in. Unfortunately, these practice materials bore little resemblance to what I was actually tested on. Feels like I wasted a lot of time with the app. I’ll be more prepared for a pub quiz now at least!
NOT OFFICIAL!! Not a Substitute for the Official Study Book
My husband and I purchased this app in prep for taking the Life in the UK test. We studied all 424 flash cards and took numerous mock exams. We entered the exam room on Saturday feeling confident...until the actual questions appeared on the text screen. I felt ill when I realised that I barely recognised ANY of the test questions. After the test was over, the lady who gives the result said the only "official" study guide is the book. This app has a lot of information about the UK but little to do with the actual exam content. The admin need to remove the banner that says "official" from this app. It's a giant waste of time and energy if preparing for the LITUK exam not to mention a waste of money as you will likely fail the exam if this is your only reference material. What a shame because the study format is actually good. Use it for Trivia Night.
