I understand that free apps are a business where we’re the product, but this app can be completely useless because of the adds that even clicking on them won’t let you access anything else in the app.

Unable to use app due to persistent ads
I am unable to use this app at times because the ads persist and there is not button to proceed to the app after the ads are completed. Very frustrating!
Impossible to use
App requires endless views of ads and Fox News before allowing you to weigh in some days I give up after 10 minutes of trying to get through the ads. This is the worst app I’ve ever seen.
OKOK is NOT OK
This App has a serious problem. It comes up and immediately shifts to an Ad that does not time out and allow you to opt out or go away. You must download whatever they are advertising or you don’t get to record your weight or see your history. You are held hostage. Until this is fixed or they offer an ad free option I’d avoid OKOK.
Horrid unskippable ads
The latest update has introduced one minute long unskippable ads before you can record your weight. Most ads take you directly to the App Store to install some slop when you try to close them. Terrible product with intrusive ads. Should be banned from the App Store for not having a reliable way to close the ads.
This is a ridiculous bait and switch to sell a physical scale that then can't be used locally without a subscription or obnoxious and scammy ads.

Beware
If I buy a product i should not have to deal with ads to be able to get to the app to control . Will never buy again
Too many ads
The app forces you to watch multiple ads before you can access the weight management section. I will never purchase another scale that uses this app.
Annoying forced ads
Before you can use the scale, you have to sit through minutes of ads. Often, the X option to close the ad does not work and takes you to the app they are pushing. Every time I use my scale I’m frustrated by this app.

Ads went too far
The ads have always been annoying, but today it “warned me” that my iPhone has 5 viruses. That is not true, unless the app introduced them, but I classify that ad as malware. I removed the app.

This scale comes with an app with extremely intrusive ads whose existance were undisclosed when the scale was bought. Don’t buy the scale or don’t use the app. Bad, bad, bad, marketing development and trend. You can use the scale without the app but only for weight.
Chinese garbage
30 second unskippable ads for a scale I’ve already paid for is hilarious. No I will not be paying a “subscription” to get rid of them. Buy American!

Horrible software! There are interminable, loud ads that play before you can even use your scale. The advertisements are often from scammers and malware. Very dangerous. It is extremely difficult to get pass these ads to actually use the scale. I would recommend avoiding this product at all costs.

Best off with an analogue
Loads of user friction through absurd long ad blocks and unreliable Bluetooth behavior. For something meant to be consistent and reliable first thing in the morning, this app is unusable.
App Isn’t Functional
The app used to work, despite annoying ads on startup. Now, the ads are full screen, thus rendering it useless. You can’t continue to the app because the area to do so is where the battery level is. Waiting does nothing. Force closing doesn’t help. There is no user fix that will resolve this. Horrible design. Ad culture has gotten out of hand.

The App is an Absolute Garbage
Full of advertisements, the interface is barely tolerable. Useless. I think I’d rather trash these scales than use this app. Will never recommend. If you see the weights it any other utensils that needs the app, choose anything else. I believe the five stars rating - ducking what? - is just an astroturfing manipulation. The app is an absolute garbage. It’s literally the worst I’ve ever seen.

Commercial ads on a product I pay for is disgusting. Change the app soon or you’re better off with a different scale.
Why the ads?
If I buy the scale, I should not be harassed by advertisers every time I launch the app.
Why the ads to get a service?
I love the scale as it seems to give accurate results. I do not like the ads popping up with the Bluetooth add in. Please fix this. Health is serious!

Only reason I’m giving it one star is because I have attempted to exit out of the commercials that are being provided when I am checking my weight and as often as I’m trying to exit out of it, it won’t allow me and then at that it’s super loud I don’t want people to be all in my business because it’s too loud just like right now it’s playing in the background and I don’t want it to be so for that reason I’m giving it one star but other than that I think the app itself is pretty phenomenal right on point and I love it

The first year this was great. Since then every day is a freaking pop up ad that takes over a minute. Today it was a warning message that looked like fraud/spam! I’m so done! I paid full price for the scale. The app to run it should not be one huge invasion! MAKE IT STOP! Nobody has time for that in a busy morning. Or ever, really. So wrong!

How do I pay for weighing equipment (special feature is that it’s a digitized scale with “free app” accessory.) However, you are always one second for an unsolicited 3 minute ad, with no way to click out or any other function than to keep a weight log. If you want to use any other extended feature you have to commit to a subscription (which is fine) but to pay for this scale for the sole reason to only keep track of my weight this is tragic and frustrating, also its capitalism!
