I live in Tokyo and have a residence card. Dont bother trying to use this. If you are not Japanese they will just prevent you and then say you violated the user agreement and delete your account.
Disappointed
This app can be the best when it comes to dating in Japan. But you have to pay for sending messages. Also the verification process needs work, if you can’t get verified you can’t also send messages which is understandable but the verification process keeps not accepting me for some reason. Really wanted this app to work smh

They will not allow you to verify without japanese identification. foreign people living in japan might not be able to get japanese identification. They do not care. i asked customer service for help. they are not concerned about foreign customers. Xenophobic company

If you don’t have a Japanese passport, can’t use
I was excited to try this new dating app but I can’t read messages unless I’m verified. I tried getting verified with my American passport and it denied me, they accept Japanese passports only. So yeah, I’m bummed because I had lots of matches I was excited about… but will proceed to delete the app since I can’t get verified and without that I can’t read or reply to anything.
