I am extremely disappointed with the Omron blood pressure monitor app support experience.
The Bluetooth connection with iPhone 17 is not working properly with Bp4350.I contacted customer support multiple times, shared detailed app steps, logs, and even recorded videos showing the issue. I also reached out through LinkedIn to help escalate the problem.
Despite all this, there has been no meaningful update or fix.
As someone with a software background, this does not appear to be a complex issue to investigate, yet the response has been very slow and insensitive for a product used by people monitoring important health conditions like blood pressure.
Customers expect reliability and timely support, especially for healthcare-related devices.

Readings now take multiple rounds of refreshing and pairing to sync. Annoying, not dealbreaker. But one of the most useful pieces of info when making plans with a doctor is average readings over time. The whole purpose of an app is ease of tracking info over time.
I called OMRON tech support who were polite but only provided a workaround. The lack of easily accessible (presumably) precise readings over a set range of time makes this app and machine kind of useless. It would be frustrating if that info was behind a paywall. It is worse that it was removed completely. If I have to calculate the info myself I don’t need OMRON.

Terrible
Won’t allow me to add my OMRON BP786N. No problem. I was able to manually enter my BP numbers into the app…. Until today. Now it wants me to add an EKG device, and it no longer allows me to add manual BP readings. The selection that allowed me to do has been replaced with the add EKG device.
Updates Ruined the App
The app is unreliable not that you have redeveloped everything. Why couldn’t you just leave a good thing alone. The app looks different, the way it’s used is different and it doesn’t record or sync with my iPhone. Everything is manual. What’s the point. I’ve had it. Goodbye!

You should have left the previous version alone. It was fine. This version is terrible. I’m not putting up with this garbage.
New app is worthless
I have had an onron blood pressure unit for several years. The blue tooth was very unreliabe and realy worked. I could enter blood pressure readings via the dashboard manual entry. Now that is gone. You are now better of buying a much much less expensive unit anr tracking on paper. If you can’t make something better, then leave it alone. I give this product a -5 stars
Blood pressure averages no longer showing
Until a couple of weeks ago, the OMRON connect app reported the average blood pressure values in the selected time range i.e. by day/week/month/six/month/year/custom. The graph is a pretty picture, but the actual numbers were much more useful. Now users have to resort to exporting the data into a spreadsheet, and expending a considerable amount of time and work to calculate the averages.
Please restore that valuable feature.

Completely broke auto sync. UI has reverted to horrible. QA is clearly lacking. Too bad. Used to be a great product.

Bad Update Info
The auto update to version 8.5.1 has crashed the app on my iPhone 8 running iOS 16.7.15. The Info on the App Store claims it is compatible for iPhones running iOS 16.0 or later, but when I reported the bug, Omron support replied that the lowest iOS version Omron is compatible with is iOS 17.
This Version Is Broken
A call to customer support revealed the current update of the app will not import the latest BP readings from some machines, including mine. The agent apologized, but offered no timeline as to when this issue will be fixed. So for now, I can still take my blood pressure, but can’t send it to the app to share with my doctor.
What the heck?
This new update is horrible, where do you do your BP and EKG testing? Everything is gone, it’s a waste of an app after years of using it after buying an expensive BP7900 they render is useless? This is either a money grab or a very poor business decision..,.both!
Fails to sync
I have a BP7150 that was easy to pair with my iPhone and sync data...initially.
Unfortunately it only worked for about two weeks. Now no matter what I do the app will not sync any new data. The cuff itself works but it will not transfer any new readings to the app.
I've tried unpairing Bluetooth and deleting the device from my profile and then adding the device again, power cycling the phone, power cycling the device itself (removing batteries)...
NOTHING will get it to sync readings again.
What a waste of time.

New Version sucks
The updated app has lost many features. It’s no longer able to record EKGs and has turned an expensive complete mode into like a $ 30 basic BP monitor. It seems they’re just trying to push users into a $150/year subscription.

This app was genuinely useful: BP history, selectable time-scale averages, clinically meaningful data to share with your physician. After the recent update, all of that is gone - and so is every reading I had prior to January 1 of this year.
OMRON’s update deleted my historical health data.
The period average - the single most important BP statistic, the number your cardiologist actually wants - has been removed and replaced with a min/max range that is clinically useless. Meanwhile, a paid subscription tier has materialized. This is not a coincidence.
I paid a premium for a connected device expecting functional data management. OMRON unilaterally revoked that to extract a recurring fee from customers who already paid for the product. Hundreds of App Store reviews confirm I’m not alone.
Restore the averaging function. Restore user history. Stop treating paying customers as a revenue extraction target. One star is generous.

Worst app
This is possibly the worst app I have ever used to go with my scale. Buggy and terrible data presentation and upload.
Trying to Fix Something Unbroken
The interface that looked and worked fine is now redesigned so that it is less usable and uses less of the screen. Even worse, the app used to stay connected with the blood pressure cuff for easy updates daily, but now it forces the user to sign into the app daily and manually sync each reading. This represents the exact opposite of progress!
They ruined a perfectly good app
The new interface took away the notes field and now you must navigate through the app to find it, it's very bland and they added fields that are not needed. At the very least they have made it so you could hide the junk that you do not need.
Fix the averages
The new update no longer provides your BP average over a given period of time. This is an important feature that needs to be fixed and/or brought back.

Account required now ?!
I have used my BP monitor for several years and it was great. However, the app recently introduced an account that is now REQUIRED in order to use the app with the device. I do not want to send my health info off my device so some company that can’t spell (their splash screen has a typo). So I’m giving them one star for stupidity and will just use the device without the app.

Bring back the old layout, or at least give us the option to choose it. The new one is counterintuitive.

Does not support all devices
My device was bought in Mexico, it has all the connections needed but just because Omron wants to restrict it, app reject the device, is a shame on 2026 to be discriminating devices like this
Missing average results
The app used to show/calculate the B/P averages - day, week, month etc. now it shows the data points not the weekly, monthly, type data
Was useful not sucks
I knew there was going to be a problem when I had to sign into the app every time I wanted to log my blood pressure or let my doctor see what my blood pressure does when I’m not sitting in her office. Now the interface is hard to navigate. What happened to the pretty landing page? Why did that change? I can’t force a download of information from my bp cuff anymore. I think I’m going to have to find a different product to use because the app is worthless if I can’t force an info download and I have to sign into it every single time I want to use it. Useless!!!!!

Your recent upgrade made it impossible for me to record my daily weight manually. Plus, when I visited your App Store page so I could report a problem, did not allow me any text option to describe this problem. You have effectively rendered your app useless. I’m done.
Home screen Ruined your app
5 days ago your programmers over thought the home screen. Perhaps not thinking. I have been using the omron7000 for years, twice a day for doctor monitoring blood pressure. The Home screen had a centered nice large colored numbers FOCUSED on the Bp! That is the entire reason for the app. Yes other devices can be attached, but now the home screen is just another awful boring list of small characters ALREADY available under the history tab. Whatever metric measured should be big bold center of the home screen. That is completely gone. You idiots. The large center full screen bp image was immediately available. I’d rather buy your competitors product now. You killed this app Bring back the large center landing page. It’s the whole idea of monitoring your numbers with a large center of the screen home page of the metric one is measuring.

Cuff is inaccurate
I have taken the machine into the doctor’s office to compare its readings versus the doctor’s. The machine is 40 points higher on sys, and 30 on dia. Inaccurate data is worse than no data at all.
Old data on Home Screen can’t be deleted/edited.
BP is only data on Home Screen that is current, everything else is 4+ years old and can’t be edited/deleted.

New Home Screen, sucks
Before the update, was pleasant to look and read the Blood Pressure 🩸please go back to old version. Also takes over 2 hours to show up new reading on the iPhone 📲 you get zero stars ⭐️
New Update - A Disaster
This was a great app and easy to use UNTIL the latest update. Now I cannot do manual data entry for weight. I hate it. Just no clue on manual entry.

App randomly signs me out and today it won’t show me the “normal” Home Screen for whatever reason. Over the several years I’ve used this glitchy app I’ve had to uninstall and reinstall it 10’s of times losing ALL my history. I’ve now I ninstalled it today for THE LAST TIME!
Fire rewrite decision maker
The new v8.5.0 Home Screen is appalling. Please immediately roll these changes back and fire the nimrod who thought this was a good idea. Atrocious UI, too much white space. You could have designed this to fit all on a single screen without needing to scroll.

Apple Health ?
This morning I started my BP testing & apple health has taken control! I didn’t request this & I’m unable to quickly solve the problem. I’m sorry I got an iPhone, I like the idea of choosing my options rather than being assigned what to do!
Data stealing in 8.5.0
Omron now steals your apple health data it doesn’t write to “display” on Home Screen, eg body measurements, activity measurements. Worse, simply turning off Apple health read access isn’t enough; you have to go in and manually delete every entry single entry it stole in its own database ONE AT A TIME!!!
This app sucks
Pairing and syncing are difficult. Often have to unpair and re-pair to get iPhone to connect and sync. This plus requirement to create an Omron account make things WAY more difficult than it should be. And I’m only using for BP; won’t be buying any other Omron devices
