Extremely disappointed.
Daily deposit limits prevented me from depositing my tax refund. There are no physical bank branches or ATMs, making it difficult to access basic banking services. Customer service provides generic, copy-and-paste responses instead of addressing individual issues. The Walmart MoneyCenter is consistently frustrating to use. To make matters worse, the rewards program is unreliable, with entire gas and Walmart purchases frequently failing to earn rewards. For a banking service that promotes convenience and rewards, the experience has been the opposite.

To have to spend at least $25 to transfer from one to one or to even add money to your OnePay is ridiculous because sometimes that amount may not be needed. I would really appreciate it that could be corrected. Lastly, why does it take so long if I transfer money from my own Bank to my OnePay for it to appear on one pay or if someone want to want me through the app it takes over five minutes for it to show up.

I was unfortunate enough to have to deal with these people after my financial information was captured from a Walmart transaction. I spent over an hour on the phone and on chat and did not get my financial information removed. Their tactics are underhanded. They want to make me wait 45 days to get my information reviewed despite my demand to get it removed. Run. Fast!

The @work feature to access Instapay hasn’t worked since March 2026. I have contacted support through chat as well as email at least 100 times and they assure me that their team is working around the clock to resolve this issue…they must be exhausted seeing as this is now 3 months later with no resolution…smh shame on you One Pay
711 glitch
This has been an ongoing issue since 2/2026 and the developers and support team know about the issue however it's still not fixed almost 4 months later. If I get gas at 711 & my gas reward is activated & I get gas at the correct 711, the app registers the corporate 711 address so I never get my points. Support was rewarding me them if I emailed my receipts but that became an issue for them too so I have since given up trying to collect the gas rewards perk. It's a major flaw to me and considering 711 is the primary gas station I use it's so frustrating that I can utilize the gas rewards. Please fix this! I will not recommend the app until it's fixed. I will keep leaving reviews until something is resolved.
Weird
Onepays always been okay until magically they took a direct transfer that I paid a fee to have transferred to my account immediately and held it with no real reason. For that, I'm getting rid of them.
Automatically added my card
I had ordered something online through Walmarts online website I added my card information but also made sure to click don’t save card. So you’d understand my shock when I get an email that this random app I’ve just heard of had just added my card without permission. This is absolutely ridiculous I don’t want my card added into an app I don’t have.
Unsatisfied Customer
I pay my Klarna bills on time I have never missed a payment on. My affirm bills are always on time yet I will get approved to pay every 2 weeks but not every month. I rate OnePay at 1 but if I could rate it at a 0 I would.
The app is confusing
The app is hard to use. Trying to find things like replacing a card or the details of a transaction… Standard banking stuff is not very apparent. I think it’s great that it has all of these perks, but this is also a place where I do my banking so I need to know how to find standard stuff. The AI chat bot is completely unhelpful and when you ask for a Human they’re nearly as bad and at times rude. Coming from USAA as my previous bank there’s definitely a lot that can be improved here.

One@work was way better then this app it actually gave your half your check every week this onepay dont give half and i have to do it myself to get it the same day and one@work would show you how much you made the day and how much they took off this one dont show the dedication i hate when they change to something new and its not it
Don’t bank with them
They transfer your money without asking and pull the card that they cannot reverse it. Pretty convenient. I was banking with them for almost a year and had the worst experience. Will be closing my account. The “rewards” are borderline mediocre and have to meet certain requirements. Save yourself and bank somewhere else
A credit score that is not mine
Get your acts together, that name and my name are different. I used a facial scan that’s why it’s even more weird.
Very slow transaction update
When you make a payment it take around 5 days to reflect on the account. In this time I have so many time stopped purchasing because payment I made did not update. Very frustrating.

I DONT WANT the BUILDER CARD!!!!!
This app after a recent update does nothing but prompts you every single time you sign in or change screens to switch to a credit builder account. They’re even trying to entice you with $25. It’s harassment at this point and seems like it’s borderline illegal to constantly badger somebody to open a new account that’s a user of your bank app. One time a checkbox saying don’t ask me again and then never ask again. Or send email promos like a normal business to people whom opted in.

Paying for priority customer suppott
I dont like that i have to have a certain amount in my account to make support for me a priority. Good customer service should always be a priority for every customer and every business should be prioritizing customer care. It should not only be accessible to people who can afford to direst deposit a certain amount. Its customer service. Other than that onepay is ok

Lack Accessibility
The Accessibility in this app is absolutely horrible. I tried to report issues and nothing was ever done.
Absolutely terrible. Do not trust them with your money.
I refuse to use their services ever again. They refused my claim even though there's substantial evidence of me getting scammed of $300. I wouldn't be surprised if they're working together to steal people's money.
Update (06/15/2026): They told me to contact their support team but they've been radio silent when I tried to email them. Their responses as a whole are unhelpful and completely performative. Do not trust OnePay with your money. If I could give a negative review, I totally would.

No customer service
I gave another critical review and they responded telling me to reach out to customer service to try for a resolution. I sent a message and they never responded...
Advance
Should not be a limit on how many advances are taken out in a week. If its payed back it should be able to be borrowed.. ill take my money elsewhere
App update not working
Been trying to do the update for 4 fays and still ask to update after downloading pand refreshing the screen. All my other apps have updated without any issues except One Pay. Tried deleting the app on both my devices and reinstalling it with the same outcome.

I’ve had this app since I started working, and besides the one to one and the banking aspect, I still can’t connect my @ work. I’ve called tech support, it’s been over a week with no response. I’ve even done the chat option 3 times, and all I get is we’re working on it. I can’t access any of my pay or do an instapay.
App not allowing updates to update
This app has been giving me the blues lately. It freezes up after using Face ID, now there’s an update in the App Store and it’s not allowing it to update. It says is updating but goes right back to saying update under update all
