After the recent updates, custom waypoint names aren’t showing up. It’s been an issue for over a week. This app and my waypoints are critical to my job and this significantly slows me down since I have to click on each point to see what it is. Please fix ASAP!!

Why? Why every time there’s an update it screws up all my folders, still glitches. Every. Single. Time.

I paid for this app but it's not working.
Decent app, ads lie, don’t purchase
The app was fine, works well with good location specificity which is what you want. However, the app when you do the free subscription says they will notify you multiple times before they charge you for the app (which is unnecessarily expensive for what it is and compared to other location apps). However they did not notify me once. So if you are using the trial BEWARE they will NOT notify you before they charge you.

I cancelled this app through Apple and on the app and they charged me anyway. They are not honest and the app is useless.
Bad labels they won’t fix it
The app is filled with bad labels on locations. Many are missing letters in the name. For example Emory Pass and it’s named Emoryass. I contacted them about it and they said I should provide them the correct names. It’s not my job to fix your alls app that I’m paying for. The didn’t even correct the 1 I did give them much less the 1000’s that are wrong.

Outrageous costs for avid sportsman
App is great for the person that never leaves their state. The greed of the App developer is outrageous. This is not a cheap app. If I fish or hunt anywhere others than the state I purchased. It’s additional for every hunt or fishing trip. This year I plan to be in 6 states for trips. The cost is too high. I will not subscribe to the app ever again. This is the only vote a consumer has. Perhaps It isn’t like I can call the App developer. App abandonment is the only thing that will get their attention!

“Free trail” enter card number and social security before you can do anything. False advertisement
Not accurate
They have misidentified my property for months now no matter how many reports I send in. They say 9 acres of my land is public. Have had hunters coming and trying to tell me I don’t own it. Thoroughly frustrating!!! Don’t trust it!!!
Be careful
For all you hunters out there using onX Hunt, be very careful if you’re trusting them. I purchased a 3 acre property last year and I thought by contacting them it would help them out by keeping their information accurate. They won’t update it. Lesson learned, if you’re gonna go hunting and trusting property boundaries don’t trust on X because it could be very old information. I figured they don’t check it every day and it might help them to update them. They said they only update their maps every one to two years based on county records. We all know counties are very slow. I understand that and figured if someone took the time to reach out to them, they might update the information. But no, they won’t. In today’s world of digital information where yesterday‘s news is already old news. On x Hunt is still using possibly two-year-old information.
Update: when I originally contacted them I offered to provide any documentation proving that I was the owner of the property but they didn’t want any of that. They insisted that they get their information from county records. Now that I left this review they said if I could provide the information they could update it. Sure doesn’t seem like they care that much to keeping their records updated until you leave a one star review.

Disappointed
I’m extremely disappointed with OnX Hunt. I cancelled my subscription and stopped using the service, yet they continue charging my account. I’ve reached out multiple times with no response at all. Even after my bank disputed the charges and blocked the merchant, OnX still keeps billing me.
This has been frustrating, time‑consuming, and completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this service to anyone - it feels like you get charged with no support and no way to stop it.

they removed all options and use for people who don’t pay.
Obnoxious Privacy Invasion
App usage requires virtually unlimited access to your data??!!!!! Absolutely NO good reason for this!! Location, Contact Info, Search History, Browsing History, Personal Content, Identifiers, may track you across apps, etc etc!!
Whatever the benefits of this app are, delete it and demand to know everything they’re doing with your data, how they’re storing it, who they’re sharing it with, what punitive damages they’re willing to incur in the event of ‘accidental’ data breach (magically these breaches seem to be inevitable, given time), etc. H to the no.

Zero stars wasn’t an option

Greedy
Not impressed the basic option with one state was great I would upgrade during the hunting season. Now you have to do elite to get any information for any state. The greed is deep. Not cool hopefully someone less greedy makes an even better app.

Paying customers ask why ads? Please stop.
Decreasing use of app. Initial start up is an ad, when map opens there’s a ad banner at the bottom of the screen. As paying customer I prefer not to be initiated with advertising.
Trial Expired Without Activation
Trial wasn’t available. New homeowner and wanted to confirm land marking prior to fence install. Paid for premium subscription only to see that a 3!month old land purchase is not updated or reflected. Still shows old property owners/ markings. Waste of money. Don’t pay for subscription until you can verify currency. Of no use to me. Gonna try to get a refund.
Was good once
Worked well and had what i needed, but to access basic functions now you have to pay per month and unless you use it a few times monthly then not worth it
Maps Need Updating
OnX is great! Features, usability and support are awesome! HOWEVER, at the end of the day this is a mapping app….and the maps? Not good. Google Maps (not google earth) are years ahead. I’d happily pay another $5-10 a month to get google quality maps. I have to switch back and forth between google and onX to see updated land features with better details.
