Terrible, do not use
Signing in is only successful after 20 tries if you are lucky. Signing out takes even more patience. And do not even try to delete your account, it will not let you do it. What a nightmare!!

Ok so how do you actually use the app to pay ? All info is generic for a paper card, credit card or ApplePay.
Downloaded App can’t add card
Can’t add card and there’s a 403 error for the nginx comment from May 7 is having was having a similar issue
App crashes on 16 Pro Max
The app crashes on the latest iPhones even with the latest update. Older versions on TestFlight also don’t work. Please fix asap since it’s been almost 1 month since the new iPhones came out.
Support needed
This app works fine on an older iPhone, but on the iPhone 16 Pro, either the new hardware, software, or deeply embedded configuration data causes the OVpay splash screen to show and then an indefinite loading spinner against a pink background. I’ve tried reinstalling the app numerous times, restarting the phone, removing OVpay from iCloud backup, etc. but nothing has worked. I also tried emailing support but haven’t received a response. Please assist if possible. Thank you.

Tried a million times. App is worthless country should get its money back from developers

Half you need to do in the app, half on the website, website FAQ is out of date with the app. You first need to add a card for searching trips while on the website you can do it by adding the payment reference and the amount.

Can't believe in 2024
Any action take so many friction to finish.. Don't spend your time on that.
Useless
I can even use the card. Every time I get to the step , 'add card', it defaults back to the 'have you traveled with you're debit or credit card before'. When I say no, it says, 'add card' and the cycle repeats.
Add OV-Chipkaart to app please!
Please can you add the ability to add your yellow personal OV-Chipkaart into this app as well, not just debit/credit cards.
This would be such a great feature as sometimes I forget to bring my card with me, but I always have my phone. It’s a great back up plan and just plain makes sense overall.
I have a subscription with my chipkaart that gives me discounts.. I would love to also use my subscription by only scanning my phone.

UI blows
Your UI to add a bank card put me in an endless loop. It’s makes no sense to “have” to reevaluate before adding a bank card. Makes the app useless to mela

Step 1 - download app and set up an account.
Step 2 - use a debit, credit or mobile payment to pay for any kind of public transit ride (train, tram, bus, etc). To do this, scan your payment method at an entry gate and at the completion of your ride, exit gate.
Step 3 - Access your payment method account to look up the charge for the ride you just took. Once that charge has posted on your account you can now register that payment method on the OVpay app.
Now you have an overview of your trips in the app.
Step 2 - use a debit, credit or mobile payment to pay for any kind of public transit ride (train, tram, bus, etc). To do this, scan your payment method at an entry gate and at the completion of your ride, exit gate.
Step 3 - Access your payment method account to look up the charge for the ride you just took. Once that charge has posted on your account you can now register that payment method on the OVpay app.

Can’t add card
At the step when you try to add a credit card instructions are missing! There are circles for step 1 and 2, it nothing is written there. Illustration is also pretty pointless. What am I supposed to do?
