Does not work
I downloaded this app then paid for the upgrade. It freezes when trying to access weather for my trip. I have deleted the app and reinstalled and the same thing happens. I am now out of pocket for an app that does not work!

Freezes - doesn’t work.
Never gets past the “Your packing list is being generated” screen. Just freezes at that point and never prepares a packing list
Must specify gender first?
Launched the app for the first time and got asked to choose between male or female. I don’t want an app to suggest clothing based on my gender, but saw no way to skip the question. Deleted without going further.

I was so excited about this app, but it freezes when checking the weather and generating my list. I wish I could get it to work- it looks really great!
Failed to work
Just bought this app based on good reviews. Will not generate the packing list. Stalls at that step and nothing happens. Tried it a few times and tried it on both phone and iPad with same result.
No sort or search. Please remember the basics
No sort and no search on pack lists? This is programming 101. It is reasonable to expect all apps with lists to have such features.
There are things I like but forgetting such basics is a productivity drain. It also discriminates against people with visual learning disabilities/ differences such as some (if not all) forms of dyslexia as it can be much harder for such folks to scan a non-alphabetized list.
Please fix these basics.

Not helpful for multi-location
We are world travelers and travel often. Most of our trips are for 3-6 weeks at a time, hitting 10-15 spots. Our MO is to fly to a destination, stay for a few days, then cruise to 6-8 ports (or land bus tour to 6-8 cities). Then stay in one locale for a week and explore, then we train or fly onto another area where we continue spot hopping for another week via land tour or another cruise. We love traveling this way, but it does take lots of packing planning when you’re going to so many different places in one or two suitcases. This app can’t handle our kind of travel without creating a bunch of mini trips. For now, I’m back to creating my spreadsheets with each day, location, activities, and weather, then estimating clothes based on that. Was really hoping this app could save me the time, but it would take forever to create a bunch of little trips for each individual day or several day runs. It also wouldn’t roll all those trips into one packing plan making sure I don’t duplicate items. Not quite there yet, guys! But you’ll have my money when you fix that.
Limited options
The free version of the PackPoint app is a 2-star experience. I paid $2.99 to upgrade for the ability to edit the template and packing list, but I was disappointed by its limitations. It would be great if I could name my trip instead of being forced to enter a destination. The app requires a location but lacks many common cities-Maui and Kona, for example, aren’t even included! If location-based features like weather aren’t fully supported, it should be optional rather than mandatory.
Additionally, once a trip or city is entered, it cannot be modified-only deleted and recreated from scratch. The app offers very few customization options, making edits frustratingly limited. Please update these features to allow more flexibility. If these improvements were made, I would gladly rate it 5 stars.
