Disappointing experience
Padlet was sold as an app that was a safe space for community, creativity and to have voices heard. Unfortunately the experience has been otherwise. I would not recommend Padlet to friend or family.

Padlet just proved they stand with control, not community. Taking down People Over Papers shows they’d rather side with power than people.

As soon as I opened it a banner popped up that I couldn’t use it unless I upgraded. Upgraded WHAT I don’t even know what you do?!? I haven’t used it yet?
Can’t even get in
I was excited to start using this app. However, I can’t even get started. I click on the button to join. I put in my email. It says to type in the verification code from the email they sent. No email. It’s been over an hour and I’ve tried 4 times to resend code. Nothing. Contacted support. Nothing. I tried to start all over. Now I’m being told my request is denied because there was a problem. Definitely not wasting any more time in an app I can’t even START using.

in size.”). So… ok… I decided to upgrade to see if that helped since there’s no app support to contact. First to the $6.99 plan… Still didn’t work. Then, a few mins later to the $9.99 plan. Still had issues. And got charged full price for both ($17+ tax), not even just the plan difference for the second upgrade. Not a lot of money, but annoying nonetheless, especially since neither worked

Fix bugs
I can’t type on the app version to save my life. Curser flies all over the notepad, I can’t auto fill words because app will glitch and move curser IN BETWEEN a different word but still type like nothing is amiss, wont add spaces while trying to type and doesn’t read keyboard/touch. Fix this please, my college professor insists on using this so at least make it functional.
Horrible App; Don’t Use
Attempting to use this app for a simple school assignment (60sec video), and the app cancels the video each time. After creating two separate accounts; I still can’t upload a video and/or take one via the video chat link without the items erasing. It’s been 45min working through this app when the assignment is for a 60sec or less clip.

Ugly
I used to use this website and app religiously as a designer, but I haven’t been able to since they’ve changed the look to give every post a chunky, white, asymmetrical border. It’s so distracting from the visuals I’m trying to showcase that I can’t justify using it for any projects. Just an option to change the look would be a massive improvement, but until then it does not look clean enough to use in a professional context and I have to give it 1 star.
Impossible to click links
I got this app because their mobile website is terrible for clicking links, and I thought the app may have better support. It does not. It obviously recognizes that urls are links, but it’s sooo difficult to follow them out.
There are no instructions because it’s so intuitive
This only means that it is intuitive for anyone who uses it, because if you don’t find it intuitive, you will not be able to use it.

Probably failing class right now because my college affiliated account doesn’t work when I click the link provided by my professor. I haven’t been able to do a single Padlet assignment.
Horrible UX
This has got to be the most hostile app I’ve ever used. I’m going through a 20 email back and forth with my org just to get signed in. Feels like they don’t want people to use it. Please conduct some usability testing.
Worst update 8/22
I really hate this new update, it put my favorites inside a folder where I have to go and look for them. You made it more complicated I should’ve not updated. Hate this update.
Got a new phone
My had gotten broken and I had to get a new one but I logged in and I lost my photo class I don’t understand

Great concept but very very slow and it’s very glitchy I constantly have to close and restart the app
Uploading video is not consistent
Uploading video is not consistent. The best way to upload a video is doing it by way of the website the app is extremely glitchy. It works when it wants to.
Not Intuitive
App interface designed by computer engineers not users, it’s clunky and not intuitive, bulliten (sic) board management; changing admin for example is not easily done. Jack of all trades, master of none.
