At least not when you expect to . Check out MM your transactions are instant

Poor Treatment of Sellers
Updating their program out of nowhere and will now do monthly evaluations on sellers and will offboard sellers from the program if they don’t sell up to $25,000 over a 3 month period?!?! INSANE!!! I took a screenshot of yalls new update taking place April 30th. Taking away from small businesses and people who sell crafts and stuff as a hobby for side money to help with bills. How disgusting. I thought this was supposed to support small businesses? Just another monopoly. Super disappointed. Deleting the app and will now support small businesses directly!!! Change this policy and make it right for the sellers.
New Update is Not Good 👎
It’s impossible to see who is bidding on an auction and when someone wins, it goes away…which isn’t helpful.
The comment section is terrible, if there’s a pinned comment, you can’t see all of it and then you can’t see multiple comments.

A seller can send you whatever they want and there’s no chance for a refund.
Predatory Manipulative Ads
I see ads all the time suggesting 90% off a plant. There are so many restrictions and it’s only up to $10. Crazy manipulative ads. Waste of time downloading

You turn notifications off and it still sends you notifications on their popular sellers going live. Weird sales practices from many sellers being secually weird to get sales.

Plants are my hobby. They are relaxing. Do you know what is not relaxing? Receiving 100+ notifications on this app every goddamn day. I get notifications for everything EXCEPT the lives I bookmark.
What is the point of offering a setting in app to modify push notifications if those settings don’t alter how often you receive notifications??
If you notify users so often- it makes those notifications less valuable to them. I have literally had to turn off notifications & make manual calendar events for sellers I enjoy. I wouldn’t mind 1-2 promoted sales a day if that affects y’alls cashflow, but the current level of inundation is just insane.

Purchasing plants on this app can be a nightmare. They have very little seller accountability. You can’t get replies from sellers and when you reach out the PS support they tell you to “give them a chance”. Even after extended periods where sellers do not reply, after reaching out on the platform, and by outside resources provided by the seller you will get customer service from PS that deflects and says they will ask the seller to get back to you. Completely different to how an application like Etsy or eBay handles those sorts of situations. STAY AWAY.

App is extremely buggy. They don’t have a way to actually clear out and install a new account so any issues when you are online are recreated upon reinstalling the app.
Delete, reinstall, clear cache, delete, reinstall. Nothing works. But it still remembers user id. Continually says there are zero people on the live.
If you open the app and it doesn’t work correctly, you may as well remove it as there is no way to fix it and no one at Palmstreet to help

Recently
This app is great when it’s great however I have been having so many issues not being able to bid or see how many people are in the live.. not that I care about the viewers but it’s my clear indication that I am not going to be able to purchase anything other than what they have in the showcase. I’ve reached out to support and have done all the things they told me, clear cache go out go back in sign out sign back in uninstall install turn your phone off and then back on. It’s becoming a pain to consistently have to do this.
Wont give me my earnings
I’m a broke college student and to make some extra cash I decided to sell my crocheted plushies I make on this app since lots of people recommend it. I’ve sold over 100$ and when it was time to payout I haven’t been able to. Support has done nothing and now I’m here without money for my work. Terrible support, I want the money I earned!
Latest build is buggy
Features don’t show up like the auctions don’t show up in the app and photos fail to load. Making it hard to buy things when you can bid because the app is slow. Same on cellular as WiFi.

No notifications!
Despite clicking the notification bell the last few auctions I wanted to attend, I was not notified. Once I hit that bell I expect to notified. I rely on that so I can attend the auction and support my favorite sellers.
Don’t waste your time and money
The app is not very user friendly and that’s the good part. After you are approved to sell, explain to customer service exactly what you sell and how you sell it, and get an email stating that it is within policy to sell, they decide to ban you after the first show. To make it even worse, they continue to allow other sellers selling the exact same items to continue selling. The rules do not apply to everyone the same. Customer service will respond to questions with an answer even a seasoned politician would say sidesteps the question. Very disappointed and will not be back.
Cancelled orders
I purchased a handful of items and was thrilled. Checked my receipt this morning and ALL of my orders were canceled. I am absolutely crushed.
DM Muted for No Reason
Great products, terrible app. I’ve only just used the app to buy items, rarely said anything in chats. And never used DMs. Well for once I needed to DM someone to upgrade my shipping only to discover my DM is restricted because of a violation I was never informed of. Because of that I can’t message anyone on the app, not even support. And no one responds to the emails I’ve sent over the past few days.

A Platform That Preaches Trust But Fails to Practice It
My experience has been profoundly disappointing and highlights critical operational flaws. After a seller application denial, the appeals process is agonizingly slow, with responses taking weeks. Worse, the company provides zero transparency into their decision criteria, offering no constructive feedback for improvement. The most egregious policy is the mandatory three-month waiting period to reapply-a punitive measure that stifles small business growth. Their mission statement emphasizes "trust," yet this entire opaque, rigid, and uncommunicative process demonstrates a fundamental distrust of new sellers. The gap between their stated values and their actual practices is vast.

App requires your personal information and ID to sell, collect information then denies stating not enough information. I do not appreciate this and I find it appalling. Info collecting scammers

The newest update is trash. It doesn’t load anything. Orders, lives, everything is not working. Can’t even contact support because messages won’t load either. SMH
Junk With Plants Sprinkled on top
As soon as I download the app I’m directed to a livestream with urgency to purchase screaming from it. Everything about the livestream is just completely soul sucking. I finally figure out how to close the stream and I go to the shop area and there are *some* plant listings, but they’re scattered along with a bunch of junk listings of counterfeit goods or strange coins and oddities. This app is not good. Better off using online retailers. This is not a good resource.

I purchased 2 plants the plant dead the corm mush when I reached out to the vendor she said she is a small business I understand sent the pics of the mushy corms she said if I would have bought the insulation and stated that the paper towel that was put in there would not freeze under 37 degrees it was the paper towel was still really wet after thawing out no refund no apologies I will stick to the other app

The amount of sellers making AI ‘covers’ for items is really discouraging
I left a previous review praising the app while also asking for more features and that praise remains true for the most part!
How ever I’ve noticed some LARGE sellers using AI images to sell products instead of just the photo of the product or (preferably to AI) no photo at all. Personally I don’t like AI but I get everyone’s opinions on it are different, however, sellers using it to promote items is so disingenuous. I’ve even seen some of them selling stickers too! The limbs are merged together, the quality is so low, and the style that these sellers use are all the same! It’s so unoriginal, especially when they use it as a ‘cover’ for every product without any real photos of said product! I’d rather them just use no photo at all.
I doubt it’s something that can just be fixed by Palmstreet, so this is more of a warning to those wanting to buy off the app. Be careful not to get something low quality from these AI covers!
