Why?
Why if I pay for the full app do I have an ad at the bottom? Seems like not a great way to do it.
50% price increase, forced to pay early
I have subscribed for a few years and I see their price has gone up fifty percent recently. Not only that, my current subscription, paid through August, is no longer valid. I see ads again and am limited to only seeing three deliveries.
As a result I simply canceled the subscription and deleted the app. Customer lost.
Update to response from Dev: You have a valid reason for the price increase; had no idea you have to pay carriers for tracking info.. that’s nuts. Still, the fact that Apple appears to be allowing price increases to invalidate existing subscriptions is a problem. This is not the first time I have encountered this.

Many people receive 5+ packages a week just from Amazon.
Wow, what a disappointment. I just canceled my subscription and would give zero stars if it were an option.
If you must, please add a premium tier at $10-15 a month for the unlimited tracking expected with a subscription.
Also, please hire someone with customer service skills to respond to these reviews. Insulting paying customers is never a good look.

Huge price increase for what?
Update: in 2026 the price is increasing AGAIN. Now it’s $7/year. It started as $3/year when I signed up in 2020. This is ridiculous. I’m canceling. I cannot support greedy developers, especially ones who raise prices on longtime subscribers.
Previous review:
This app went from $3/year to $5/year, an increase of 67% which is a lot more than inflation. No discount for existing users. I’m so tired of apps increasing their prices. Sure it’s only an extra $2 per year, but come on. That adds up when I have a dozen or more app subscriptions.

THEY canceled my year subscription?????!!!!!
I subscribed for a year, it’s supposed to be through October 2026 and yet here it is 26 May 2026 and I just got a notification that my subscription is expired. RUBBISH!
I’m out.

No longer satisfied
We pay a subscription for this service. Now USPS tracking will become delayed if tracking more than 5 packages per month. Unacceptable. Will be moving to a new platform.
Delayed updates
The delay in getting USPS information makes this pretty much useless. Packages will be delivered for hours while the app still says “wait for us to get information.” The developed needs to grow up - the immature responses to reviews is very unprofessional.
Price Increase?
Updated review in response to dev reply: I’ve since change my review to 1 star and canceled my subscription, as I find the dev cannot take negative feedback without blaming the customer. My review was based on my experience and thoughts about the app and its pricing. If the dev cannot take into account these negative reviews to move forward and better the app without blaming the customer then no positive updates/upgrades will ever be seen. There are still many issues with this app that have yet to be addressed but yet the price goes up and the blame goes to USPS. Seems like this is just a side project app for the dev in hopes to gain an extra buck.
A subscription was already questionable but then to raise the price for no reason with no real improvements or changes to the app other than “may notice slightly faster refresh”… may? Slightly? Come on.

Have an option to own
The fact that there’s no permanent lifetime option is crazy. I would pay at the MOST $25 or MAYBE MAYBE $30 to permanently own this app, i literally lost all my income so if I wanted to use this app I would be out of luck and as much as I wanna support this person. Going homeless isn’t too. I’m not complaining about price I’m just complaining about the ability to not have a permanent or longer (maybe 2 or 3 year option? AT LEAST) because my situation can change a lot within a year. Thanks again for reading
USPS deliveries are being limited by the developer
You need to stop arguing with your subscribers. I am one. USPS deliveries will not update for hours or days while the packages sit actually delivered. This app is useless because you’ve chose to limit USPS because suddenly YOUR costs changed and you don’t know how to price your subscription to properly deal with the fees that couriers charge YOU for access to the API. WHen I leave reviews, you say things like “that’s not correct” and “you need to subscribe” and then you flag them so they get deleted. I am a subscriber, this is the behavior I’m seeing in YOUR app and guess what, based on YOUR behavior (and total lack of response to support request) I won’t be a subscriber for much longer. Congrats.
Price increase AND less functionality
So, now I can only track a limited number of USPS packages per month, which I understand is not the developer’s fault, but now they are also INCREASING the price from $5/yr to $7/yr? Uh… why? Sure it’s 2 bucks, but the app is literally getting worse. Wtf
Developer too lazy to add archive
Such a simple feature. This app is garbage versus old deliveries.
You lost a longtime customer
I have been a customer since you launched. Saw this new update about 5-10 updates per month. I pay for real time tracking. That’s the only reason why I have this app. You used to have a great app.
Glad I saw it in time for my upcoming removal. Canceled and gone.

Delayed - What’s the Point?
The information this app provides isn’t even up to date. If you plug the tracking number into the actual shipping carrier site, there are more developments than what this app shows. Why would you pay for less information? This app is a ripoff. Only three items can be tracked with the free version, but paid or free - it’s delayed, by literal days. App sucks and it’s unfortunate they are getting people to pay them.
Want u to pay to track 👎
Wants you pay for tracking if you track more than 3 at once
Doesn't update. No timely notifications. “no active deliveries”🤦🏻♀️
‼️“no active deliveries”🤦🏻♀️
Doesn't update. No timeline notifications. Compared to other delivery apps that sync and send continuous timely statuses ..this one does not. I have to to open the app each time and drag down to refresh, otherwise delivery statuses can remain stagnant. I have deliveries that are STILL pending in this app whereas the other delivery apps have been done delivered a week prior.

Limited Free Version
Only allows tracking if 3 packages without subscribing.

Formerly Good App (updated)
There are plenty of Package tracking apps. Parcel used to be one of them, but with the increased price to receive “real-time notifications”; it’s not worth it anymore. Sorry I renewed my subscription, won’t be doing that again.
As for the “I am paying them to have real-time notifications and zero delay in Parcel” You’re not, you’re passing that cost onto your (now former) users.

Used to be good
This app used to be good but now it’s unreliable because the tracking isn’t updating fast anymore. I had a USPS package arrive and this app was saying it was still in customs while try usps app had all the updates. This used to be better than the usps app. Also it’s sad they don’t give users accounts as old as mine premium perks. I’ve had this since it was very new and relatively unknown.
Nice, But Needs Updating
Parcel is nice, but does not show shipping status in a timely manner. Examples include you can check UPS, FedEx, USPS, and the individual apps will show more recent status updates compared to Parcel. Parcels interface with the different carriers is slow to update. Also, Parcel does not retain Amazon login for very long, requiring a new Amazon login on mostly a daily basis. As a result of these issues, the annual price for the App while reasonable is hard to justify compared to just checking the individual shipper’s apps for current status.
Up-date to prior review: even after my prior review, I had to continue to been a paid subscriber for many years. Now, the App states as a paid subscriber, I will only get 5-10 trackings per month in real time, and then tracking up-dates may be delayed. That is absolute BS!!!! I am paying a subscription and then being limited to real time updates. My annual renewal is due later this month, and I will be cancelling the renewal as soon as I post this. There are other tracking apps available that do not charge a subscription nor limit the number of realtime updates. What was the top,of the line tracking app at one time has fallen into a “Snake Oil Salesman” category.

Good app, but inflating subscription price.
Good, clean app that simply tracks my packages. No new features added that are meaningful to me since installing years ago, but subscription price was just increased 40%. Greed. I’ll start looking for alternatives.
Delays and price increase
Used to be a great app. Now information displayed on the app is very delayed. Like more than an hour late compared to the carrier’s information.
Also, with the recent price increase, I wouldn’t even say it’s worth it for the year. I’ll be using a new service.

Great app but…
Update: Developer responded and basically suck it. He states that 5-10 packages/mo for USPS is plenty unless you are a business. Well, we aren’t a business and had 18 USPS packages delivered in the last month. Once you exceed the arbitrary threshold, we’ve noticed it can take multiple days for a package to update. Currently, for USPS, this app is just a useful place to keep the tracking numbers. If you want timely tracking data, you’ll need to click the button to track it on the USPS website.
Orig: The app is great, the UI is nice, it ticked all the boxes until the recent changes by USPS which render the app much less useful if you need to track multiple packages each month. The developer will tell you USPS is now charging for API access and I get that but it doesn’t change the fact that the usefulness of the app is greatly diminished. Buyer beware the juice may not be worth the squeeze.

Too slow to show updates
This application doesn’t have much usefulness because it is extremely slow to show the actual updates on the package tracking. Tracking updates are sometimes almost half a day, or even longer, late. This equally applies to a paid version.
Beautiful App But No Lifetime Plan
I really like this app for its iOS style, and purchased the yearly subscription to continue to enjoy it. I am critically with my review as I believe there should be a lifetime membership. Route and Shop apps have the same, if not more advanced, functionality for free, only lacking an iOS UI.
Free version is too limited
3 active packages Is understandable, but in total 3 packages, makes this app pointless. If anyone wants to track fewer than 3 packages, they don’t need an app. It should atleast allow keeping history.
Having a subscription for someone who doesn’t use it regularly doesn’t make sense either, I’d love to support the developer, but I would not buy the subscription.

Great App, But…Germany.
It would be awesome if I could use the app on my home internet. I have region blocking turned on my UniFi network and I can’t use the app because all data goes through the url: data.parcelapp.net which resolves to Germany and gets blocked.
If this app gets US based servers as well, I’ll renew my subscription instantly.
