Waste of money on Mac computer
I do not recommend for people with Mac computers. It’s impossible to support the app. I spent hours trying to load on my computer.
Don’t waste your money
Doesn’t work , paltry support. The idea would be good if only it works. You create a list of apps to allow /not allow in lock mode but the list doesn’t stay saved and resets every day. So you spend every day trying to remember to go shut off certain apps. If you travel overseas the software prevents use of an eSIM. Support is a bot which is useless and you get and email from a human a week later. Don’t waste your money

After I was allowed to delete the app, the app kept controlling my screen time and didn’t let me use any apps! It is doing that as I type this out, I’m not sure how to fix it please help

It is unreliable. Once it blocks the phones, the app control stops working.

VERY VERY terrible app . ur device will eventually glitch and there is NOWAY to get out of the mode you will not have apps anymore and cannot be fixed im currently stuck on a device with NO APPS beacuse of it and i have to restart the WHOLE PHONE i do not recommend there’s other ways to keep ur kids off the phone. very terrible

I’ve been paying for this app for more than 3 years and it has never worked as it should.
I’ve tried several times to work with customer service but it keeps crashing and blocking my daughter’s iPad.

DON’T GET KIDSLOX
My mom got this app a long while ago and just now I’m looking back on myself and seeing what this app did to me. When my mom first bought it was fine for a week or two until I realized I had to deal with this for the rest of my childhood.
After I was straight up tired of repeatedly asking my mom for time. It caused me to be agitated, agressive and making me feel straight up miserable. I then went into a depressive/suicidal state because of ts.
I was masking my real feelings and when in bed drawing and writing about how I felt. I also threw MANY fits and had multiple outbursts that involved me avoiding seeing my mom. Sometimes I even starved myself or just laid in bed doing nothing to rebel against my mom.
My mom also got this app a few weeks b4 school started which made the school year EVEN WORSE. I had so much homework and assignments and I had nothing to cope with but art, I couldn’t use ANY OF MY IMPORTANT APPS and i have to beg and convince my mom for ONE HOUR OF TIME.
The privacy of this app honestly sucks because I’m a teen and I honestly can’t do anything without my mom knowing. I’m a writer and I wanted to know a word for a sharp stabbing pain but then my mom went upstairs in my room and asked why I searched that up.
This app WILL mess with your child’s mental health and if you’re thinking of buying this trash, DON’T.

Sooo I had it, uhm it does not let you have internet (or at least for me) so umm maybe fix that unless that’s part of it.

This app made me soooo mad because whenever I run out if time and I ask my mom for more and she will give me an hour or so and I go back on my phone and there is no time, I restart my phone and I do everything I can to make it work and it doesn’t, Then the next day comes and it still doesn’t give me any time. Also it is just very glitchy in general and it’s just really annoying. So don’t waste your money on it. By the way this is the SECOND bad review I have had to give about this app!
Expensive and defective
Buyer beware! Costs way too much to do so little. Every single option you should have required the more expensive service. This app is also defective. It pops a blocker when my child tried to download an app TWICE. In both instances the pop up will not go away and you have to figure out how to reboot the whole phone. Also the error message states it’s well within age range but seems to be the reason for the block. I wish I could get my money back.

We installed Kidslox advanced features to experience all things the we wanted on our all devices, and when we were ready to remove it you literally couldn’t, it just asks to buy a full version for 60$? Almost fells illegal. If there was 0 stars option, it would be it
No offense to the app.
I don’t like this app. I’m a kid whose moms thought “ let’s use Kidslox! “ after that. I can’t watch YouTube, NOT EVEN YOUTUBE KIDS! I can’t call with my friends, NOTHING it feels like my live is hell with this app :(

This app is not good because it removes my widgets everytime it locks and I have to reput them, and it takes some of my apps away and sometimes it glitches, when I have time it says locked. Whoever’s parents didn’t download this ur very lucky.

Restrictions on structure of plans sucks
I don’t need a full year of this service. I need maybe a couple months and to reassess. I cannot use this service because it is asking me to make an unreasonable commitment. A monthly billing option would open things up to a lot of people like myself.

The app does not do what it says. It also charged me $85.89 when it did not mention there was a charge to download the app.

This app is the worst user friendly app I have ever used! I have tried for a month to set up my child’s account and cannot even get beyond that. Do not use this app. What a waste of time!!!
Way too complicated and ineffective
I watched the videos. I followed the instructions. I did everything I do to make this work, but it is so confusing and took so much time to install. Additionally, kids can just simply delete the app from their phone. It doesn’t do half of the things that he claims to do, or, or requires a well-versed in computer programmer to figure it out.
Despite the fact that I already paid $65 for this worthless app, I deleted it just one month in. AVOID!

I don’t even know where to begin or end. Just heed my warning. It will make the device lag; crash, etc. Canceling and uninstalling are nothing short of a nightmare.
