Problems removing app.
I am a parent that used OurPact for several years. Customer service has been absolutely awful when trying to remove the app and supervision from the phone. We’ve emailed numerous times asking for help with a technical issue while trying to remove the supervision profile and keep getting the same AI generated response. This is insanely frustrating.
App Completely Nonfunctional
I reached out to support about tamperproofing, the feature that prevents this app from just being uninstalled by anyone, being non functional. It has been two months and they are still “working on it”. This renders the app completely useless. I’m not sure what the developers are doing over there but it’s bewildering that a bug that makes the app completely useless has not been fixed in over two months.
No Tamperproof with IOS 26
Wanted to give this a chance, but without tamper proof working; what’s the point.
Nuked my son’s phone
Don’t install this on your kid’s phone unless you want it to take over everything. Completely blew away wallpapers, app groupings, contact images, etc. Tried to immediately reinstall every app that’s ever been on his phone. Then when I tried to use the one feature I wanted this app for, the random screenshots to keep him honest, found out you have to pay a monthly subscription to use any of the features that are worth anything.
PARENTS BEWARE OF THIS APP
I’m beyond upset of this app. I’ve been trying to get rid of them managing my son’s account forever. I messaged their customer service even their IG account to get the resolution but they continue to ignore me and decides to hosrage my son’s phone. Beware before signing up because even Apple won't be able to help you since OurPact is controlling the phone. Trust me I tried all different avenues and still nothing. Stay away from this app!!!!
Not as easy to use. Download years old apps no longer used and error on most used apps.
How can I get a refund for my subscription or a prorated amount for the annual subscription I paid for? Installing and pairing OurPact with my phone caused errors on my phone, programs that have been deleted for several years started to be downloaded again, apps that were working fine now have errors or missing login, etc. This is not what I expected or the ease of use indicated on the app. I do not see myself using this moving forward and feel $99 for the year for an app that I will not be using is a little steep. Thank you.

No iOS 26 Tamperproofing is available. Ourpact had since early June to get this working. As of 2025-09-25 it is not.
Already deleted
Too complicated to install. And there should be no reason in this day and age that I should have to pair the phone with a computer to get all of the benefits. Get Qustodio! They don’t make you jump through hoops!!

Unworkably bad
I rue the day that I first heard about this app. My son and I had grown tired of Apple's atrocious Screen Time feature and were both looking forward to something that would allow us a more refined measure of control and OurPact seemed to fit the bill nicely. Unfortunately, this software is broken and unreliable in ways that are difficult to count. Even installing the Device Management stub on the client phone took weeks due to a series of issues that renders it unable to be installed from a Mac of even moderately recent vintage. Once past that, there are so many issues with buggy, broken, nonsensical or flat out poorly implemented features that after hours of struggling with getting things set up properly, my son had a device that had been both reset and crippled and there was nothing that could be done via the parental control app that could address any of these issues. On the positive side, I found their support department to be helpful, professional and easy to work with. Unfortunately, there was little they could do in the face of software that was so poorly implemented. My son and I are now back to Screen Time and just gritting our teeth.

Terrible these days
We have had this app FOR YEARS with no issues. I’ve recommended it to dozens and dozens of parents over the years. I’ve been working on adding a device to our profile for almost an hour. Install this, change that password. It’s so frustrating that this app we’ve loved and promoted has become so cumbersome. The benefits do not outweigh the device adding hoops. Do better. It used to be you just connected your child’s device to by USB to a computer, install Outpact, and done. Why do I have to have iTunes installed on my computer?! This will be our last year. I want something streamline and hassle. This was that and is now no longer.

Ruined me and my child’s relationship
I downloaded this, hoping to strengthen my teenage daughter and I’s relationship because I had full control over her phone and her personal life. She suddenly didn’t want to talk to me and locked herself up in her room. Obviously, I didn’t find anything bad, so I had no idea why she was mad at me. I realized I had no trust in my daughter and that’s why she was distant and resentful towards me and my husband. It was harmful. Don’t use it if you love your kids to death! (Unless they’re very young… then that is very necessary.)

Feels Like a Scam - Hijacked My Kids’ iPads
I spent half a day trying to install OurPact Premium on my kids’ iPads - struggling through endless compatibility issues with iTunes, PC setup, and their OurPact Connect tool, just to enable “supervision” mode.
Then everything went sideways:
• It changed the wallpaper on both devices without any consent or warning.
• It removed nearly all apps from the home screen - even the ones that were supposed to be available during scheduled time. I had already created a proper schedule, yet any app not marked “Always Allowed” just disappeared.
• I had no idea what was going on - it looked like the devices had been wiped or hacked.
• Even worse, it reinstalled random old apps that I had deleted years ago from my account - suddenly showing up on my kids’ devices, unrequested and unwanted.
• The device behavior was so extreme and unexplained that I seriously thought this app was a scam or malware.
• The forced wallpaper still hasn’t reverted, even after uninstalling everything.
• I then had to spend another full hour cleaning up the mess: removing supervision via PC, restoring app visibility, deleting the extra apps it added, and sitting down with my child to explain what just happened.
All I wanted was a simple, responsible way to manage screen time. Instead, OurPact acted like it hijacked our iPads, giving me no control and no clear way out until I manually reversed every step.

Awful. Don’t use
This app is terrible. I’m very tech savvy, and this thing does not work. It glitches constantly. It is impossible to download, changed all my child’s contacts and info in the phone to my contacts and info, is virtually impossible to get rid of. Still attempting to get it undownloaded from the phone. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!

I was trying to block a app then I clicked block for OurPact and now I can’t get in.

This app suggests you need a USB cord to connect to a computer to set it up. I was unable to set up the child app, even on the lighter version offered without a USB cord

Awful support
I have emailed 4x, sent messages on X and FB pleading for them to help me remove child’s device that doesn’t work on IOS mac. Nothing. I was gonna transfer to new phones but no longer. Terrible!!!!

I have had this app for 2 1/2 years. It’s safe to say I HATE IT. I literally can’t do anything without feeling so controlled. Like I can’t do Face ID, or delete apps, I have to request them, no widgets, can’t adjust my home screen, so many WiFi and glitch issues aswell. I have school for 8 hours then I go to volleyball/softball then I get home, eat, shower, get ready for bed then when I FINALLY get to relax I get hit with the “Your time is up.” SOOOOO ANNOYING OMGGGG
Dumbest app ever
Downloaded the app on my phone, downloaded it on my kids phone, and the instructions require you to have a computer to set up most of the features and the app is not compatible with Mac computer (only iPad or a iphone) although they have a Mac button on a website. Many other glitches with setting up, I canceled the subscription and uninstalled. This is the dumbest app ever.
Don’t buy a full year!
I made the mistake of buying a full year of this app. First off, it’s clunky and difficult to use. Installing and removing required an act of Congress. I’m disappointed with its feature set. I didn’t realize that auto renew was on and now Apple won’t reimburse my purchase. Please, please do yourself a favor and pay a little extra for a monthly subscription… Otherwise it’s impossible to get your money back when you don’t want to use it anymore… and you eventually won’t want to use it anymore.

The app is really buggy. It has Face ID support in theory but makes you enter a password every time you open it regardless of that.
Not user friendly
We had to cancel our account before the free trial wad over. The app is difficult to learn how to use. I accidentally turn my child’s phone off and I couldn’t get back on. The support got back to us, but couldn’t help us with the issue.

The worst customer service in the world. I’ve been trying for over 3 months to resolve billing issues and have gotten nowhere. They have literally stolen money from me, refused to refund it or even provide the service it was charged for in the first place.

Record screen is not accurate an a lot other functions are not working properly. Very disappointing with this app.
Can't even activate
This requires you to stop the find my iPhone functionality which is not easy to do. I spent over an hour trying... seems spurious

They refuse to cancel your membership. When I noticed for the second year in a row, I had a pending charge. I contacted them immediately and asked them to cancel. They stated there’s no cancellation and their policy and it would be another wasted $69 for the year.there are much better people to do business with the world.
Develops trust issues with parents and Nomophobia
I genuinely hate this app so much! This app is the main reason I can’t even trust my own parents anymore. Every time I see them with my phone, I’m scared they’re just gonna delete the apps I love because… the internet is basically the only thing that… keeps me going. The internet is my escape from depression and loneliness. I feel happy whenever I use YouTube, Instagram, and write stories and… seeing all of that taken away from my parents cause of this app just… it makes me feel like I know even know them anymore. It’s why I keep it on my person at all costs, and it’s also the reason why I have Nomophobia, fear of losing phones. I can’t even trust the people who raised me anymore because this app just brewed a lot of trust issues into my life since Middle School. Just… never use this app, it’ll only destroy your trust with your parents.
DONT TRUST put viruses on my computer
I followed all directions from the app and website and as soon as I downloaded my antivirus software stopped it from put 7 different viruses on my computer do not trust this!!!
Garbage app. They never respond
Garbage app. The app never syncs with android phones and their customer support doesn’t answer any questions or respond. I have reached out to their custom support email more than 10 times trying to get a simple acknowledgment so I can get help and all my emails went ignored. Seems like the company is just ghost to me. I’m not sure if there are any real people available because all my emails were ignored over the course of a couple of months.
Update: No, I don’t have a single response back from support in spam nor anywhere for this year. In July I’ve sent email after email requesting assistance. No response. I think this app is automated and there’s no real support.

Useless app
The app has never worked as advertised, we’ve used, or put up with , this app for 7 years. In general, it works, but only works when it feels like, great for demos, but not for real life use. The user can easily delete the jr app or unpair or create different profiles.
Computer needed
I don’t want to have to use a computer, I cancelled immediately after seeing a computer was needed. I rarely use my home laptop for anything, it is only used if I absolutely have to turn it on. Avoid this app unless you use your personal laptop daily. This application should be created to allow all features available via app. I have an iPhone but Screentime via apple has not performed good in over a year but this isn’t a good option for Screentime replacement.

My child was still able to access inappropriate content and download apps. Not sure how they got around it but easy enough for a 12 year old to find loopholes. PSA just don’t let your kids have cell phone.
Good idea but poor execution
This is a great idea, and I was actually more so looking into it for my partners accountability tracking instead of my child. Location aspect is cool, but the viewing screenshots of their searches and online activity portion is a little misleading. You only get screenshots when your “child” manually enables screen share on their their portion of the OurPact app. So basically the whole time they are using their phone in order for you to get the periodic screenshots it is screen recording for them the entire time they are using it. So if the child/partner doesn’t enable screen recording everytime their own the phone, then you won’t see what they are viewing. The screen recording stops everytime they lock their phone, so when they unlock it they have to go back in and manually enable it again.. Also the viewing live feature didn’t work. Pairing the phones was a hassle. All in all disappointing.

Does not work
I was super excited when I read the reviews for this app only to be let down yet again. I have downloaded, paid for, and set up more than one parental control app in the past 2 days. This is beyond frustrating at this point to the point I don’t want my son to have any electronics.
I have blocked You tube website in this new app. Yet I can still pull up that site up perfectly fine. I have the app settings and screen time phone settings both set to not allow adult content, yet I can search naked girls, people having sex, etc on YouTube perfectly fine.
I can’t access porn using google but who needs that when you can access it just fine on you tube even with that website supposedly blocked.
