False Charge
I still haven’t been charged so I’m unable to speak on that BUT I have since returned the rental car and returned home to the States yet I just got notified I started a parking in Austria???
How someone started a parking in my account is beyond me. My assumption is the app had someone else type in the license plate and it assumed it was me. I can’t do anything about it because the parking is still “active”.
Unfortunately, I was forced to use this app for parking once while in Germany. Now I’m nervous about the safety of this app and how it is handling my information.

Confusing
Luckily I can translate, but the app doesn’t have an option to change languages. Also I put my card info in and it didn’t take the payment the day I parked. But I got a receipt which generally you get once it’s paid. So I assumed it was taken care of. A month went by then I got a piece of physical mail sent to me, and they said it never was charged and that I owed double the price. When you go to pay it, you can’t just add a card to pay the bill, they make you jump through hoops and add you bank account and other info then they wait till the 17th of that month to pull the money. Outside of payment issues and the language option. The apps fine, just make sure your payments go through the first time.

Inefficient
Overly complicated paying process with no option for paypal. The registration process takes forever and the app is overall very inconvenient. Other parking apps are half the trouble and allow you to pay as soon as you’re done parking. Why is this one any different?

Untrustworthy scammers
Paid for parking using app in Sweden, confirmed payment went through in app and ticketed/fined anyway- denied appeal despite having a screen shot of payment. No one wants this headache months after travelling and to be threatened with collection. Do not trust.
Americans shouldn’t use - extra fees to pay bill
It was not clear on install or usage that the only way to pay is via international bank transfer, which was an additional $45 in my case on top of $9 for the parking session. If you’re expecting to use a credit card, debit card, PayPal, etc. - you can’t. Just get cash and pay at the kiosk.
Wow - A lot of negative reviews
I wish I had read all those negative reviews. I’ve read them now and my experience was very similar. For myself, I’d never trust them with my business again. Maybe you’ll have better luck?? Beware. That’s another one star for Parkster.

Nightmare app
I honestly don’t know how they manage to make the easiest things complicated in Germany and Europe overall. You download the app and it seems easy to use, and then they send you a receipt for your parking by email and make paying so complicated that you lose your mind trying to figure it out.

Worst service I’ve ever used
They send you bills and assess late fees but make it impossible to pay. They do not allow credit card payments, but accept mail-in payments? To what address? They accept bank wires? To what account?
This is the most ridiculous “service” I have ever encountered in my life. It is hard for me to come up with any reason why an app wouldn’t accept credit card payments other than the app being some sort of scam.
If you can find ANY OTHER WAY TO PARK aside from this absolutely scam, do it.

Zone doesn’t exist
Trying to park in zone 87605 it says there are no lots in the area … so now what?

I’m sorry that I have to leave a one star review.
When park and have a screaming toddler, the last thing you want to deal with is figuring out how to use the app.
When starting the app, the app should tell you how to get a ticket and how you pay for it. I didn’t know until I saw the email with the account information that I have to pay at the end.
I would like to know that in advance.

Do NOT use this app!! Scam!!
I was forced to use this app to park in Germany in a lot used mainly by tourists-the on-site machine wouldn’t accept credit cards or cash so I had to use the app. I entered my cc info but it didn’t charge my card. Weeks later I received an email with an invoice for 5 EUR. I couldn’t understand why they didn’t charge my card so I contacted them. They said they couldn’t charge my credit card and insisted the only way to pay them was through an international bank transfer-which costs $50!!. I contacted my bank-they had never heard of anything so ridiculous. Then Parkster started assessing late fees. I checked online reviews and found a mother load of complaints about this company and the SAME EXACT ISSUE!! Do not use this app! Do not pay these blood sucking shysters!

I don’t have an address in Sweden, Germany or Austria so the company won’t allow me to create an account but I need to park in Sweden. A competitor (EasyPark) was easy to set up without this silly restriction in a different Swedish city. Credit cards are good worldwide so why the restriction? It may be a great program (app) but if I can’t use it it’s a one star to me,

Garbage. Can't use without a Swedish address
I'm trying to park at a beach in Faro. Only way to pay is this app. I download it. First it asks for a Swedish social security number. It does allow you to put an address though. So I put my US address. Not accepted. OK. So I try my airbnb address. Sweet! Now I put my credit card number in (doesn't autofill so I have to find my physical card). Of course it doesn't work (presumably because of the address). I'm sure hertz is going to get a big bill and pass it on to me. Fix your app!
Doesn’t work with foreign cards
I tried to park in the German city of Fuesson. No American cards are accepted. I ended up having to park in a very expensive parking garage instead. When I tried to leave turns out American card is not accepted there either so had to use cash. This is the only city or app in Germany where I have had this issue. Worst app in Germany for a foreigner. Screw these clowns.
Nonsensical payment options
They emailed me an invoice and there’s no apparent way to pay it using a credit or debit card. There’s only bank information which dos me no good from the USA. Once the email invoice has been generated, there’s no choice to change to a card payment. However you can add a card for future payments. Wish I had just paid at the kiosk

App didn’t work when I was parking. Now the company keeps sending me a bill. The App DIDN’T WORK but they still want me to pay. Customer service is dreadful. AVOID at all costs. Sorry I can’t rate zero stars.
29 kr extra for a paper invoice… what a joke!
Start with e-faktura and autogiro like all the other parking apps. Horrible experience, Will never use again.

Really dumb app, no confirmation when you pay for parking. How are people suppose to know of it works? Don’t recommend, just use the kiosk.
Hidden fees
They say “no fees” but this is false. When you sign up, you are automatically signed up for a paper invoice by mail which costs an extra 30SEK. Nobody tells you about this. You need to change your invoice preferences before the 15th of the month to avoid this fee from paper invoice. I think it’s ridiculous that they don’t make this clear.

You need to create an account and that’s only possible with a Swedish phone number to use this app - why not just an email and a credit card on file to charge for parking
