So disappointed
I am so disappointed that I forgot to cancel this stupid subscription!!! The app was useless and silly. It never gave us anything relevant or interesting on our trip. We traveled every main road in the park at least once. It was in such a juxtaposition to what our attention was focused on at the few times that it actually piped up with a factoid, and the silly Aussie narrator mispronounced everything. Why was an Aussie narrator chosen to read anything at all in the Big Bend episode - with all of the Spanish names and words?
It contributed so little to our travels that I totally forgot about swearing that I’d cancel it before the yearly fee. We were usually out of network range to do anything about it while in the park anyway.
Sorry if anyone else wasted their time and money on this one.

I was driving through the Blue Ridge Parkway and the app knew where I was and what audio selection to play about 50% of the time.

Seriously! this popped up offering 7day free trial. Got home from my trip a saw they charged me for an entire year $48 - crazy!! Don’t try it!

The trial is a scam
Did the trial and they charged my $48. Don’t fall for the trial option.
can’t find instructions
lots of adds for this app on youtube, but they can’t make a tutorial video?
Does not work
App constantly freezes and never knows where you are. I did get it to speak one time in Grand Tetons for a couple of minutes, but it just won’t update your location as you drive. An easy fix would have been to let you “click to play” the voice overs for areas you’re in, but that feature has not been added, so the app is pretty much 95% unusable.
Waste of Money
Do not waste your money on this app, instead buy the AllTrails app. Better features both online and offline. Purchased this for our trip to Zion and couldn’t view the maps since it uses online location for tracking. Disappointing.
Can’t see pins on map
Just bought this app to help navigate our trip to Glacier. Waste of money! You can’t see the pinned spots on the map, when you click a pin it does give you information on that spot but it’s not very helpful with being able to see it on the map so you can plan out your day. Save your money, just get a park map!

Did not narrate most of the time at Glacier
It was helpful to see where we were at in the park (Glacier) but the majority of time I would look at app it showed like there was a topic that it was narrating but we hear nothing. We verified speaker was turned up. It was very disappointing. We will try again at Yellowstone.
I’m not sure if it was because I would switch focus to my iPhone camera so I could take a photo (I didn’t close out this app though). Although when I would shift focus back to this app it would update where we were at but no sound.

Zero customer support
App functions fine, but customer service is nonexistent. After multiple attempts to contact support, have not received a response or even acknowledgement of my inquiry.
Too much advertising
I really wanted to like this app, but in the end if just felt like a big advertisement. We used it last week in Glacier National Park and were disappointed that there was very little meaty content in the audio and rather was just ‘stop at xyz and pay they for blah blah blah’. It felt pretty clear that the developers knew very little about the park and were just saying what was easy or likely what they were paid advertising money to say. We wanted good content about the history and geology along the way but just didn’t get that.

Have to Turn on Notifications
Thought this would be a good APP to try on my trips. Once downloaded, I was required to turn in the notifications or it wouldn’t let me proceed with the setup. Notifications should be an option, not a requirement. Keep the download simple and provide an opt out for notifications.

BF paid for the app (he came across via targeted marketing) to use for our recent Yosemite trip and I wasn’t that impressed with it, especially for that price. This is my second time using one of these types park apps (this one was on his phone) and this one was lacking I got sick of hearing the same facts, which weren’t that many and was expecting more. Would be nice to play some relevant music between pauses. Or provide more recommendations.
