I bought before week plan for about $30 but I didn’t realize that you could only listen to a book for five minutes a day which is a total loss for me and not worth my money in the slightest. Would not recommend. If you want to listen to your book or whatever it is you’re reading, you’re going to have to pay another $14.
Poor customer service
Asked about pricing and was told to check website. There’s no information nor pricing info on website. Sadly I like the app but need more info.

The interface works very well and even the reading sounds very fluid and I appreciate that. But they don’t have voices that make me feel inclusive.. There are no black voices and when you read black books, you need black voices. Unfortunately, there’s not a large selection of voices so it makes it hard for me to enjoy my books. So unfortunately, this app is not a good fit for me or the people i would have suggested try it. I can’t fathom spending $100 for the year and not being able to enjoy my books. Again that sucks so bad because the app works well.

Great idea, but…
You are not able go to a specific chapter to sync up with your reading. And you can’t find your place in the book and start mid-section. Would be okay if you are only going to listen to a book on the app but not if you want to switch back and forth.
Not useful; charged for features
This does not synchronize with kindle books - you can’t pick up in the audio where you left off in the ebook. Also they changed $11.99 just to adjust the speed - I had to request a refund. Absolutely not worth it.

Reader sounds very unnatural. Odd sentence phrasing, words mispronounced. Impossible to relax and enjoy.
Much Less useful than expected.it reads publisher or, but not the downloaded ebook itself.
Doesn’t work with most library books (DRM- protected?) reads the Blurbs, not the actual books. Not a substitute for national software programs that deliver books for the blind. And won’t work around borrower limits at libraries.
Cancelled Immediately
Not for me. The set up is confusing. There is no going back to change the voices. I extremely disliked the two options I was given, which, frankly, are the same AI voices heard everywhere else.

No way to put Kindle on here that I can find so I’m quitting I’m canceling. This is so frustrating.
Great for a few chapters
I installed this and downloaded 4 or 5 of my Kindle books. It worked great for a few chapters then would stop working. After 3 days it wouldn’t play any of my books at all. Emailed support twice and they have the problem under review. I’m just going to uninstall and cancel. Hopefully they will get their app working properly soon and I can try again.
Like fingernails on a chalkboard
If you are an appreciater of the lovely sound of the Enflish language pronounced correctly stay away from this app. It will annoy you no end. I could not even make it through one chapter. It doesn't matter whose "voice" you choose it's still robotic sounding. Incorrect homophones are used. Punctuation is overemphasized or ignored. Of course, few proper nouns are pronounced correctly, but that is forgivable. AI still has a LONG way to go before it can replace a human reading a book.
Need strong male voice.
I would like serious male voices for instructional learning. Cheery women and couples doesn’t work for me. If there are strong male voices then I would change the review rating.

All a Lie!! Waste of money
Allegedly, you can read your Kindle books. But there is nowhere to upload your Kindle books. If I click on a Kindle book in my Kindle library. Up as anything it will use. And there is no upload into Peech for this. Customer service got me no response. What a waste of money. Nothing but bait and switch.

I gave this one star because I can’t give it less. So bad, I cannot add books, I’ve tried taking pictures of the book covers…doesn’t work. I’ve tried sharing from another reading app…doesn’t work. I cannot sent an email to customer support….doesn’t work. No phone number to call. So frustrated.

Be careful with this company. They charged me for 3-4 months and refused to refund the $80.00. They finally did refund $29.95 for 4 weeks. When I called to complain about these unauthorized charges, they informed me that I was past the time of cancelling. They finally agreed to refund me $29.95.

Peech is probably very good, but I wasn't able to finish downloading it. The computer “helper” is no help at all. I need to speak with a real human. Do you have a phone number I can call and have my questions answered?
