Ads in my app
They’re now sneaking in ads to an app that I’m using for items that I already paid for. Needs to stop.

No automatic scheduling without a bridge is slimy.
All I want to do it set my light to turn on at 7pm and turn off at 6am. They gate this simple feature behind a $70 piece of hardware. Won’t be buying these smart bulbs again.
Light options are terrible
App needs better templates for holidays, special occasions and the ability to get colors by rgb code.

Ensh*tification
Great for the company’s bottom line to make people register for an account and give up their information now to keep using this app. Not the deal we signed up for when spending gobs of money on the product, though.

Lack of Holiday Scenes and basic features.
The holiday scenes are very limited. There is no 4th of July for our 250th! Very disappointing. You still can’t set up a scene animations, even with the pro, you have to use a 3rd party app.

Quite a disaster to set up
I have had so much problem with setting up my device devices and connect connecting it to Apple home. Once it’s done, it’s great. Bet there are sure some major flaws with connecting to other device devices. I have other bridges for different devices and they didn’t cause me any trouble but the Phillips Hugh Bridge pro sure did.
Slow beyond usability
The app has always been ok - not the best, not the worst for controlling lights. A bit bizarre in terms of scenes & theming. But over the years the app has become slower and slower - for new hubs and old and Bluetooth - that you need to find a new app over time or stick to using Siri/Alexa/Google.
