Made me buy a subscription just to print on a printer I purchased. Such a scam.
Previously free features now locked behind paywall
Was good for a while and still okay for printing strictly but the features that were free or partially free with certain styles is now locked behind paid subscription (tattoo extraction, image to stencil features, etc.) unnecessary use of forcing pay to use features when they were previously partially free or free flat out. Opening the app it says better and freer which now would be false advertisement. 🤷♂️
Can’t use the Printer
I have been using phomemo app with my printer for more than 2 years now. I recently tried to use it againI and can’t even print basic photos now. Every time I try to opt out from using the ai features and effects, the app takes me to a subscription link. It is very upsetting to see that I have no option but to pay for a subscription to use the whole printer which was not the case when I first bought the product. I will not be buying a subscription when the printer quality itself is not the best and you cannot even read the written words clearly.
Stop asking me
Stop asking for permission to access my photos EVERY TIME I close your stupid AI photo editor popup. I hate this app but it is a REQUIREMENT to use with the printer I purchased from this company. The printer is also trash, it randomly stop printing mid print, drops pages or duplicated pages and leave out others, and sometimes outright does not work at all.

This thing is trash. I tried to print 5 pages at a convention, it made me get the “pro” membership. I printed 3 more pages and it hit me with a lock. “You have reached your limit. Buy more stencils for 9.99” this company belongs in hell.

The entire app is trying to get you to buy a subscription. I bought the product and now for some reason they want me to give them more money.
Almost Scam
The fact that we have to pay a subscription for app after paying $80 for a printer is insane. What’s even more insane is that even after paying $40 for the annual subscription it still doesn’t unlock all the features??. No where does it say when buying the printer that you have to pay for a subscription. Not like the subscription works anyway. Very disappointed and surprised at the lack of care for the customers.
Terrible support
After only a few uses, my printer keeps giving me an error message that the cover is open. It is not. The “solution” provided by the Phomemo chat bot is to give my credit card info and pay $5 to something called “JustAnswer.” Terrible! I cannot use the printer and have no way to get actual help!
Can’t print clear unless you pay
Charging 12.99 a month(for basic features btw) when I bought the printer itself for 100 and have been using it for years FREE without any issues now all of a sudden I have to pay just for a clear image! Totally unfair to long time consumers and doesn’t make sense to buy a printer you can’t get clear. images off of.
Forced to subscribe to Pro
I am unable to print with a printer I already bought and have been using due to being forced to upgrade to Pro version. The printer quality is not good enough for me to upgrade. I will be finding a different option.
No Subscription
I’ve had this printer for more than a year. It’s been fine. But now the app requires a subscription to print on the printer that I already paid for. This app is garbage and it will be going into the trash.
Horrible app and printer
Bought the M02 pro, it prints awfully. Grainy images even from high quality photos. And the app is ridiculous, filled with advertisements even though we purchased the device. Big disappointment.
Tattoo package subscription
I brought the package for the Tattoo stencil among other packages and I was able to use it for two days and couldn’t use it after that. I emailed them but no response and no other way of contacting them.

Bad app
It worked just fine before they start adding this stupid ai, and asking money for it. Today the added mirror option, and it’s not working properly. There is no need for this option at all, because you can flip it before printing.
What do I use now
I bought your product Phomemo m220 and now there is no free software to support making labels. What can do now with this printer. Sorry. This is not even right

Why pay for a subscription only to buy more credit to use an app we don’t even know how to use? There are no instructions, nothing. I ended up using up what I had for the month in 5 mins. Ridiculous.

Keeps freezing
Everytime I use this app and then go to print out the stencil this app freezes and I’ll have to exit the app and start completely over!
Less features with every update
Stop updating this app! They keep taking away features. I didn't realize it until I didn't several updates and then when I went into the app to do something I used in the past for free it was no longer available.
All it is now is a glorified printer if you send an already created text jpg. Too bad they are so greedy and taking away features- no fonts, no templates, etc

Phomemo new update
After deleting and redownloading this app because of a issue with my subscription wouldn’t allow me to use my premium. This new update isn’t a better than the last version in my opinion
