Worst grift type company I’ve seen. When you go to try a week at the set price, it automatically enrolls you in an additional month. When I asked for the month refund, told me policy is all sales are final. So they trick you with the trial and steal another $10 for fun. Customer service is a joke. Criminal business practices. Don’t download!!

They refused and said it was in there terms . I should have read entire small print. I explained I am a senior and can not see well enough to do the photos on an iPhone or iPad. They still refused. On top of paying for the app you also need coins to do stuff. Once those coins run out you have to pay for more coins. It just didn’t work for me. Also it is limited with not much to do. Which I guess is ok cause you don’t get any coins unless you buy them.

The photos don’t match up. Not happy! They make you pay a monthly fee. Then in addition you have to buy coins???? They make you spend your coins on their mistakes. Not happy at all. I cancelled after learning all this and they try to continue charging regardless.

The ad clearly said “7-day trial at $0.50/day” (which equals $3.50) Simple math. But I was charged $6.96 That’s not what I agreed to. Instead, I was immediately charged another $9.99 for… what exactly? Certainly not what was advertised.
And here’s the kicker: I hadn’t even opened the app yet. Purchases through an Instagram ad
I reached out to customer support right away to cancel and get a refund, and instead of fixing the issue, they doubled down. They claimed I somehow signed up for both a trial AND a monthly subscription (??), which I absolutely did not. Then they hid behind their “no refunds” policy like that magically makes a wrong charge okay.
Also, your support team arguing with customers over email? Bold strategy. Not a good one, but bold.
And let’s not forget the main reason I downloaded this in the first place: the AI animation feature plastered all over their ads. Yeah… it’s not even in the app. So now we’re doing false advertising too? Between the bait-and-switch pricing, nonexistent features, and defensive customer service, this whole experience feels shady.

When I saw it costs $24.98 a month, I said it couldn’t be that cool and I backed out of the process and deleted the download.
Imagine my surprise 5 months later when I found that somehow, they had been charging me the whole time. I know damn well I never finished the enrollment. So I call the merchant and I tell them this. And I stopped the process. Riiiiiiiiight. Next month, same thing. Cancelled again. Next month I call my credit card which I have used and paid faithfully every month for 30 years. They file a dispute. Meanwhile Photica.Ai just keeps charging me for something I never agreed to and never used not one time.

Very bad quality
The quality is very poor. The result looks nothing like the picture I uploaded; it’s as if a completely different person or pet was used in the final product. It seems like these videos are just pre-made templates

No matter what picture I put on, I could not get it to generate. It was more of a nuisance than anything! They need to fix this app before they ask people for money! What a rip off

I reached out to them via email because apparently I was subscribed to this app that I have never used, I don’t check my transactions ever really and after 3 months I did and I was being charged every month, 1st month was $6 and after that $30/ month, I would never subscribed to something so expensive and when I reached out they said they can’t and I just lost $70 for something I have never used!
Misleading Rip Off
I purchased the 39.99 version for a year of use. When you get into the app you discover that you have a limited number of COINS to use before you have to purchase more coins. The app will generate content that is completely off, for example a Lacrosse stick was broken in half so I had to regenerate the effect, paying coins again, with no option to recover the coins I had to pay IN ADVANCE for the terrible results received on the first try.
There are a few useful and fun effects but, seriously, don’t buy this app for a year and then expect to actually be able to use it for the year.

You should be able to sample this app before subscribing. Not great quality. And just plain disappointing on the few things it lets you do.
