Terrible AI and worse customer experience
This app does a great job of removing background, but the AI is worse than most AI image tools I’ve seen online. I tried several times, none of the images being what I wanted. Then, to my surprise, the app wanted me to start PAYING for these terrible images despite the fact that I had downloaded ZERO images. Yep, you read that right - this app charges, just to GENERATE the images, whether you use them or not. If the cost of generating AI is that much, maybe we as a society need to let go of this stupid tool…

Old backgrounds
I have been working on my online store for a while and they’ve removed the old backgrounds that I used for 50% of my shop by now of hundreds of products. Please bring them back.
WAS A GOOD APP 😡
This was a good APP. Then they decided to change and start charging. Which is fine, I get that people want to make money. But this is a SHAM!! If you pay for a package of 20 pictures then you expect to get 20 pictures. Not in this app. When you use the generator it gives you 4 pictures to choose from. You would expect that that one picture, if you chose one, would come off your account. No. They dock you for all 4 of the samples!! And if you don’t like any of them, so sorry! You just lost 4 pics! This is an incredible RIPOFF! And A SHAM!! 😡😡 SHAME ON YOU!!!
This app used to be good
We began using this app to photograph all of our product photos. They’ve since updated it and the quality of the AI generations has went down, and now they charge you for photos.
40 photos for $8.00
Sounds fabulous! Took ONE photo, why is it asking for another $8.00???? where, why, and what went wrong?
Rip off
Only did 5 photos and wants to charge me!? And why would I need 40 images for my website? I only need one or two to advertise on my website. This app should be for FREE. WHEN R THE ALIENS COMING DOWN HERE? YOU SCAM ARTIST!
Once great app now another cash grab
Loved the free Photo Studio - it’s what kept me with (and loyal to) Square now that their fees are almost comparable to all the other processing services.
Now that they’ve update the app with a list of really nice ai-generated backgrounds - which I thought would be a fantastic new upgrade - they’ve decided to start charging for the ai photos. All without letting you see a preview of your photo before using.
You pay for 40 photos and end up having one deducted every time you generate it to see how it looks with your product. I like to test out a few backgrounds before deciding on a final one - with their new costs, I’ll just be wasting money trying to find the best background.
Also, they claim 40 free to start out but I tried out at most a dozen and now am being charged for it. Very disappointed in Square’s approach to this. Nothing separates them from all the other processing companies now.

Glitches and not friendly to use
When you want to search your pictures it always glitching and taking you to the beginning

Your application is incredible! It would be very handy for my business. You are starting to charge for images right as I am starting to understand the AI part of all of it. Furthermore you are charging for something like 200 images? Give an option for unlimited images and I might be interested. It really is a shame. Will probably call it a day.
Needs more background options
I initially chose a background to use for my square online store, a month later that background disappeared and I couldn’t continue using the same style of background. The website lost consistency and I will have to redo all the pictures again. I created some items with a background that was only a base without a backdrop and now I cannot reproduce it

IA photos
I used to like this app. Not anymore the IA photos should be free with a square’s website. Thats insane
Not feeling the new update
Without a warning we get 40 free AI pics. I used them all in one shot seeing which background looked best with my product. Why pay per pic? Now I have to find a new photo app that has unlimited AI.
AI generated Background Photo Package
I was supposed to be charged $20 and was charged $25.43, got no confirmation other than from my Apple wallet and there is nowhere within the app to see that I bought the package and how many photos of the 200 I have used. This app is a mess. It also picks the wrong type of background for the item and you can’t have it be more specific.
Not a good fit
I tried to use but it selects just a very few photos to choose from and I can’t get it to find the ones I would consider.
