I really tried to give Piano Pop a fair shot, but it ended up being one of the most frustrating app experiences I’ve had.
The biggest issue is the music. Instead of using original songs, the app relies on altered versions to avoid copyright-and it shows. The tracks sound off, low quality, and honestly take away from the entire experience. On top of that, some songs appear to be AI-generated with awkward, sometimes terrible lyrics that completely throw you off while playing. A rhythm game should pull you into the music, not distract you from it.
It doesn’t stop there. The piano keys don’t consistently match the rhythm or structure of the songs. Notes feel out of sync, extra steps are added that don’t belong, and it makes gameplay confusing instead of fun. You end up second-guessing everything instead of enjoying the challenge.
To make things worse, the app is overloaded with ads unless you pay for a weekly subscription-which is way too expensive for what you’re getting.
Overall, it feels like a poorly executed game with little attention to quality or user experience. I really wanted to like it, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

I missed the buttons a lot of time and it made me lose my strike and it’s a game a kids game at that it shouldn’t be fair.

Misleading charges and subscription fee
When I downloaded the game I was also signed up for a year subscription without wanting to. I deleted the game, cancelled auto renew, and requested a refund 2x and denied both times with no real reason. Awful customer service, misleading charges, didn’t even play the game and I have no desire to anymore.
Idiot game not showing me the tiles on rush e
This stupid idiot game decided to not show me the notes on rush e and it would mark it as wrong BUT ITS NOT EVEN THERE. I hate this game now because im trying to win rush E also the songs where the people sing are off brand and sad do not get this stupid game.
Fake ads and do much AI
One of ads I watched had a song I liked so I installed it looked the song not there I thought maybe if I pay for the premium it’ll have it nope also 99% of the song are AI GENERATED and total ripoffs of other songs

Literally this game is all ads. You might get to play one game after watching 30 min of ads. & then sometimes the X to exit the ad doesn’t even pop up so you just have to exit the game completely and them get back in.
This is such a fun game BUT NOT WORRH THE DOWNLOAD unless you just want to watch Ads all day.

False advertisement
A TikTok ad popped up and they were playing king von, I downloaded it thinking it was going to be a good quality game with music i actually enjoy, but no it was the total opposite it, had what sounded like ai music with no actually lyrics my hopes were completely let down. and I will not be playing or downloading it again, do better.

The music is nice enough but the tiles aren't synced so you're not playing the notes as you should. Annoying. And no it has nothing to do with my internet or device.

Costs more than Netflix for some AI generated songs. Developer copy and pastes the same response to every review about the prices. All the other responses seem AI generated. I wish I was such a terrible person to also create such an app.

Don’t bother wasting your time with this game. It’ll just keep crashing and telling you it couldn’t download the content for you to play. And sure you can watch ads to earn certain song, just don’t expect to get to play it! I’ve never played such a dumb piano game and I’ve played most of them on the App Store.

The game itself is fine sure, nothing much. You'll with certain find better challenging rhythm games elsewhere. The extreme difficulty is nonsense with some notes disappearing as added difficulty. How is that any fun?

Brutal ad experience
Fun game, played maybe 4 minutes of actual game play over 15 minutes with the other 11 minutes being ad pop ups to click through. Pay for it if you really like the game, I guess.
Too easy
Decent mechanics with good songs, charting is tbh really bad and like I said in the title, too easy. Maybe a good choice if you’re 7 or 70 and looking for something ultra casual, but for the average rhythm gamer I’d recommend anything else.

I cant see any of the notes im playing like for ex: if im playing a song and i tap on the note i need to play i cant see wich one goes first
Fix your app
I got the app like any other person and everything was fine let me pick the songs I like and when I was in a song the notes would not show I thought it was lagging so I did like 3 other songs NO NOTES.? Idk if it’s my phone or your app but AHHHHHH.
An Ad that happens to have a game
The 3 minute ads with 30 seconds of a game in between gets really tiring really quickly. The ads seem to be non stop, you have no idea how long they will last for and almost force you into trying whatever the advertisement is for. Could be a good game, now just deeply frustrating. Unless you want to dish out for a monthly subscription, do not recommend.
