Misidentified several plants

AI
Misleading AI ads. False advertising.
Not happy
Terrible for price
Trial isn’t Free

Price
Can’t afford the app
No help
This “ free “ app requires a monthly subscription to identify a plant then you need another subscription to find out what to do if the plant is not healthy. Too many subscriptions for me.
Does not do what the app advertises
I got this app and paid for an annual subscription after watching ads that the app can identify plants and diagnose issues and make unique recommendations to remedy it.
App does diagnose the plants correctly but their diagnostics do not work. As opposed to what they show in their ads, almost for all issues the app diagnose, there is only 1-2 of the following solutions- water less, add baking soda, add aspirin. These three can’t be the solutions for everything issue and if it is why do I need the app.
So I am not renewing my membership and will look for something else.

This app is A.I and I refused to keep using it!
Scam
This app does not work. It just takes your $40 and runs. Apple will not refund me on a product that doesn’t work.
How to get rid of the weeds
It doesn’t tell you how to get rid of the weeds which is what the video ad showed
Does not correctly identify
This app is a waste of money. Google is more accurate - very disappointing
Do not want & don’t charge me
It says free, but does not tell you that it is a trial. I don’t want the trial & cannot cancel & delete app.

AI ads suck

It’s a trick

Don’t buy fake ad

If I am not able to opt out then I will call my attorney generals office and let them know!
You’re app
Before downloading it, it says free once you download and open its a payment and says over a million people using it . Well give me one picture to take and this app will tell me the same as all the others wrong identifying you tell me it’s a pumpkin which it’s a zucchini so why should I pay anything when you going to tell me the wrong plant
Doesn’t allow me to cancel
This could be a great app, but I am trying to cancel and it won’t allow me. I have contacted customer service and have gotten no response. I just keep getting notification that I’ll be charged a yearly charge. Customer beware
Free cost 39.99
I tried the app. It’s ok. But they charged me 39.99 when they said it was free. No heads up on the charge, just took 39.99 out if my account. Unable to ask anyone about the charge. People don’t work for them. Just AI. DEFINITELY a SCAM!!! Shame, shame SHAME!
Ai ads
Not using an app that uses Ai to advertise. It’s ridiculous to literally destroy plant life by extracting resources just to be less accurate and cause harm to humans and animals as well. All while taking jobs away from real skilled creators. Don’t use this slop!!
The ad for this is sowildly Misinformative I don’t even have to download to tell people stay away!
Adding milk to a plant? Sugar? Just toss non cleaned eggs shells in soil? The stuff they say in the add is soo off base I wouldn’t even risk looking at the full app.
i honestly have no words.
so my daughter downloaded this to identify my plant to see what it was and to see if it was poisonous for my bunny and it was. we deleted the app then there was a charge on my credit card..? we saw it was on this app and someone charged it and no one did in the family. it charged automatically and we have no idea. they charged it on my credit card, PLEASE DONT GET THIS APP
Just eh
This is a good app to identify plant but not to diagnose what is wrong with them. The answer is always stop watering by and more light no matter what you are doing. NOT a good app for this!!!
New AI ruined app
App used to be pretty helpful. I tested it on a lot of things I knew.
Diagnostics suck. One spot on a weed does not mean a horrible disease.
And now the new way you have to try to get it to a picture you took is very annoying. Trying to do this I accidentally took a pic with the lens covered. Blank screen. Says it is palm that is healthy. What?? There was no picture.
Time to unsubscribe and delete. This is now useless.

Not good to identify diseases
This app is good to identify, but it is terrible to try and diagnose diseases. Everything is overwatered, even if the pant itself is in dusty dirt. everything is not getting enough light, even though the plant is in sunlight 10 hours a day.
Misleading advertisements
The advertisements for this app are misleading and harmful. Many of the clips in the ads are clearly AI generated. This means when they show you a before and after, it’s completely made up. The plants and people in the ads don’t even exist. Furthermore, the ads promote the idea that you can magically fix decaying plants by administering sugar, baking soda, and even cola. Once a plant has begun to severely wilt or even decay, it’s not really possible to miraculously restore the plant material with some magic secret ingredient from your pantry. The best plant care involves water and fertilizer. Then again, the plants in the ads aren’t real so why would the advice be? I’m sure there are some old tips and tricks that might help revive a malnourished plant, but what these ads are promoting is nothing more than clickbait slop. This app works well at identifying plants, but I’d be hesitant to follow its advice if it’s telling me to pour soda on a houseplant.
Not accurate
The app is easy to interface with. However, the few times I’ve used it, the app incorrectly identified the plants. I took clear pictures and it provided inaccurate data.
Ok but cumbersome. Chat-GPT for free is better.
When you diagnose a problem and we apply the remedy you don ‘t check back in on how the remedy is working nor set a science based reminder window to check if it’s time to repeat it. You also don’t provide a space for us to identify which treatment method we used so you can make the appropriate retreatment window recommendation.
I don’t see a location to toggle a schedule for regular spraying of preventatives such as calcium on tomatoes or antifungals, and which plants it should be applied and then a checkmark once it’s done, resetting the time clock.
Also, even though you have the ability to see our local weather you’re not modifying the watering schedule for plants that are outdoors, uncovered, after rain.
The free version of ChatGPT does all of this when asked.
Please fix these or it isn’t worth the money.
*in addition, it has been raining here for 40 minutes. 40! It just sent me an alert to water my plants. And it alerted me to water all of my plants, rather indoor, under a patio or outdoor. All of the ones that are on a cycle without any smart identification.
Yesterday I used the treatment they recommended for plants such as vinegar mix or baking soda and water…
But when I took a photo to diagnose, it, wanted me to add it as a whole new plant rather than diagnosing a problem within that plant, and then creating a tracking system of what I used to treat it with, how well it works, how often to recheck, how often to retreat and how to proactively prevent future infection infections.
This is a very basic, low level AI app that is good at identifying plants and problems, but useless for planning.
