I’ve just played a match after more than 6 years without playing and I can confidently say that it’s now completely ai slop.as soon as you open the game you are quickly prompted with around 7 ads trying to make you purchase something.Then you join the game and see everyone using weapons that can instantly one shot kill you.These weapons are paid access only and you are screwed if your free to play unless you have insane skills.Before 2020 before Covid this game was a masterpiece(look it up on YouTube for any of the younger kids who haven’t experienced the game back then)Balanced weapons,Cool skins,creative maps,Pure FUN.that was back when the devs truly cared for their game now it’s nothing but a brain rotted nostalgia baiting cash grab.(Devs if you see this review pixel gun 2 is your last chance to make the game fun for everyone,last chance to make things right for the players)

Pay to win, can’t get anywhere without opening your wallet, was constantly put in high level matches ad a level 1, miss how it used to be

I still remember writing a review about how Pay To Win the game is, and I’ll speak up again, you are greedy, always greedy. You’ve found out about making money, you make the events and overpowered weapons cost lots of money. You make events like recent ones have passes forcing you to pay all your parent’s life savings or even your entire family tree’s life savings to earn the overpowered item. You make events terrible, you don’t handle the 3 Cat Spam players, you don’t handle bots, you don’t handle inappropriate online daters. You care more about your money, your stocks, your wealth. You never listen to the community, only yourself. In the future, you will be bankrupt, because you never listen. Your games are dying because you don’t listen. You only need money from everyone else. Listen to the damn community, not yourself. Balance the guns, fix the 3 Cat Spam problems, ban the Bots, add back the older weapons from 2013-2019. Nobody wants some bs overpowered weapons. The only people who wants it are you and p2w players. Us free to play players use SKILL and EFFORT. But these level 65 3CatSpam P2W Tryhards use the WORST skill. They don’t use skill or effort, only 3CatSpam. You will never change. We all prefer Classic Pixel Gun 3D instead of the new and terrible old one. I want the Legacy PG3D back. And where was the feature where sometimes in a match, we can have one free gun until the next match is over? Why don’t we have the older classic guns without any pay to win overpowered items, armor, clan gadgets and weapons? Why do you only add terrible overpowered items? I don’t play multiplayer because you only give the P2Ws the advantages. You will never change your actions. You will always be greedy. Pixel Gun isn’t Pixel Gun anymore. It’s no longer what we ever remember that was once part of our childhood. You never listen to us.
I find no fun in this game now. It’s now soulless and boring.

It’s honestly kinda sad to see how this game went down hill after the original developer sold it to this company. Relisoft had such a good blueprint for the games potential yet sold it to cubic games which unfortunately ruined the vision the game originally had. After the fact it became such a cash grab predatory game that wanted to “fit in” with the trending games, such as Fortnite and others at the time. Balancing is laughable with power creeping weapons almost every single update, ads in all its annoying glory. The game always reminding you to have ur parents or ur credit card on stand by so the can easily grab ur money without a second thought. If relisoft hadn’t sold this game it would’ve at least been at a better spot than it is now.

To Many Ads
You think in 2026 they would cut back on the ads but that is completely opposite and wrong. After every match you just get a INAPPROPRIATE (i got a ad of a girl doing inappropriate things to promoting a app.)ad. this is not the game you should put your time and effort into. unacceptable.
Ads don’t work
I try to watch all the ads to get double the rewards but about 75% of the time the ad won’t display the “X” to close out of the ad to claim the rewards and I have to close the application after I should have received the rewards because it won’t let me back out ( I have waited 10 minutes for one ad and never got the rewards) and I have to rewatch the ad and hope that it doesn’t mess up again. I have NEVER experienced this with any other app before so it just shows that it’s a problem with the game and the developers are obviously incompetent and don’t know how to fix basic problems 🤦🏼

I got a new phone all hyped, I was downloading games and I saw pixel gun 3d thinking about how I used to have almost everything. So I got it and I made me restart, I’m using the same apple account. I just don’t get it.

Virtual Map buggy
So I just started playing the Virtual Map and I was doing quite well in tell I reached the citadel level and once I had zero health the game just froze randomly, so I just restarted the game and again once I died it froze second time then just repeated freezing. I don’t understand whats happening but can you please improve the Virtual Map with the weird bug or something. It just gets me really frustrated that I have to close the game then reload it again just to play that one level on citadel over and over again. :(

Game used to be great. Super fun and competitive. Way ahead of its time. However it has only gotten worse over the years. Has become more p2w and they could use a rework to support more f2p players. Really enjoyed this game until recent years.
