Didn’t identify known plants correctly. Diagnosed the problem as not enough water. We’ve gotten a ridiculous amount of rain.

Maybe they should put in the description of this app that it is not free. They open up with an option to pay monthly or yearly to use the app. There is no option to click out of this or use the app for free. If there is, maybe that should pop up after having the app open for 10 minutes. Super misguiding, use “Picture This” from the App Store. That’s the app they ripped off to make this one. shame on the Plantaria team.

It is not free. It does not offer any free features. To get access you have to pay for a subscription that starts with a 3 day trail. Don’t support apps that lie.

I cancelled the free trial and delete the app,but still got charged a monthly subscription. Tried to reach out to support on their website but the subscription page is inactive and the email bounced back as undeliverable. Remove this app from the store.

Ineffective and a trap
App was wrong 5 out of 7 times and was impossible to cancel before the free trial ended. I was charged 9.99 for an app I didn’t want. Buyer beware!!!
Sketchy subscription charges
I thought I had canceled this app before the trial period ended however I got a recurring charge through a third-party company that turned out to be Plantaria. Not a single email receipt was sent so I couldn’t figure out why someone was withdrawing funds. It didn’t show up on Apple’s list of active subscriptions either. This company is a fraud.

Proof of cancellation but kept charging $10/week and hard to get in touch with support.

Don’t subscribe to the free trial. Even if you cancel it ahead of time it’ll still charge you, but it won’t go through apple so you’re unable to get refunded unless you dispute it with your back. When you request a refund via the app, they never get back to you.

The suggestions to help your plant are vague and rarely work. I, unfortunately, paid for the app for life so am stuck with it!!

I had the three day trial which I canceled but I keep getting charged for this app that I don’t have and don’t want and I get nowhere with this company. Stay away from them.
Won’t let me cancel
BEWARE. Won’t let me cancel subscription and this app is not in my Apple subscriptions like they say it is. I’ve been charged twice now with no help on how to cancel.

The app is not helpful and it doesn’t show up in your subscriptions in order to cancel the free trial that you have to select in order to even explore the app. What a scam.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I’ve sent 14 emails back and forth and I’m still not able to cancel my subscription after requesting it to be cancelled the same day I downloaded the app. Beware of this company!! Fraudulent business practices!

This app does a poor job of identifying common backyard plants. Further, the payment section of the app is deceptive as I was unknowingly charged weekly after I had cancelled.

I downloaded the app to see if my gardenia tree had too much water or fertilizer. The app identified the plant as a fiscus then 2 other plants in photos of the wilted plant. A new picture of the plant the day with blooms the day I bought it was identified as a poinsettia. I am sadly disappointed.

This app could not identify my spruce tree as a spruce tree. It also identifies the part of my tree that is turning yellow and brown looking like it’s dying as a healthy plant.

I snapped many pictures and could not get it to pull up the right plant I have.

One of my tomatoes was wilting. Used the app and was advised I was overwatering. Checked the soil and it was dry. Watered until the water was draining from the bottom of the bucket, and the next morning she was back.

I started a trial and tested app on one of my plants… it was not as I thought it would be. The app asks questions and gave me general answers ,… so the same day I cancelled the app trial…. Which was a week ago…. Today I found that the app company push through an unauthorized payment charge for a year subscription which is stealing in my book. Bad business and a lacking app.

Waste of money!
Don’t get it if you want to diagnose the problem and understand how to treat it. The AI doesn’t work well so you don’t even get the real diagnosis and then there’s no option to get a solution unless you pay to speak to an AI botanist. I’m writing this review 10 minutes after paying $60 for lifetime use of the app. Buyer beware!!
