Scam
Showed a 3 day free trial available, when I clicked it to try out the app, it immediately charged my bank for the yearly premium which is the most expensive package they have.

Can’t even open the app without signing up for a subscription. Searches say there is a free version but I can’t navigate past the page that wants my credit card. I don’t mind apps that charge a fee. I mind being lied to.

Congrats, developers! You ruined a great app. Used to be one of my favorites, now the constant, unskippable, obnoxiouly loud full-screen ads have spolied things. And the pop-ups! Deleted, good-bye!
Too many ads and intrusive pushy paywall UI
The core functionality will take you many more clicks than needed as the developer pushes you pay and view ads and grant global permissions to all your photos. Is so disruptive I’m giving up on the app and even trying to make it work.
Annoying App
There are too many pop-ups trying to get me to upgrade. I don’t want to upgrade, just identify my plant! Stop with all the pop-ups!

LeafSnap is one of the worst apps suggesting you can use for free.

This app used to be easy but now drives the user through advertisements, tries to upsell and generally makes it an annoyance. For the subscription, use a different app.
Not USA COMPATIBLE
I’ve asked them to add inches, feet into their measurements, instead of just meters, centimeters etc… I’m tired of having to do the conversions! It’s very rude they don’t care!

Was working great on my IPhone 15. Got a new iPhone 17 pro and when you go to take a picture to identify with it shuts off. Yes camera and photos are enabled. Also deleted it and reinstalled it. Same thing. Please fix the bugs in it

They offer a free trial that is not free. Customer service non-existent. Use google search instead same results. Better use ChatGPT.

No gallery access only
This app has changed and you can no longer just use your photo gallery to upload an image. You now must given the app permissions to your camera before you can use an image in your gallery. There is no need for this and makes the app unusable for those who do not wish to give strangers permissions to their camera.
Tired of “free” apps not being free
Advertise as free but then once you download it says free for 3 days. 4th app I’ve tried like this in 10 minutes. This trick should be illegal.

Waste of money
I paid for the annual membership, and this was a waste of money. It is difficult to use and the few times that I used the app, I was directed to make a purchase to use it. Diagnoses were inconclusive and suggestions were not clearly made. Was even difficult to submit a review.
Navigating the app
This app for me anyway, is impossible to navigate. I wish someone would contact me and teach me how to use it

I went around my yard and snapped 14fruit trees and a goji berry. The only ones it got right were the mango and the pomegranate.
What a joke
I was using the free version and getting too many answers that did not match. So I paid for a month, and got the same answers. Several which were wrong. My apple identification on photos was far more accurate.

I tested this on a plant that I already knew what it was and it said it was a completely different plant. It didn’t work
Generic Results
The app can’t always identify the plant. It gives you several generic answers. Like to much or too little water. For the price, it’s not worth it you can google for information. They only give 3 days free offer then they charge you. I forgot to cancel…. Lesson learned 😢

Generic, repetitive answers to diagnosing plant problems. I want an app that can tell me what’s wrong and what to do to fix it - not just “problems with light, nutrition, water” and “do soil testing”. The DIY gardener needs better info
Can’t cancel!
I downloaded this app with the three day free trial. As soon as I used it I saw it wasn’t what I wanted. I tried to cancel it after 10 minutes (before my subscription began)and I can’t find any way to do it. Scam? Think twice about this one.
Have not had any luck with this app
Have tried several times to locate what a plant is and this app never located it. Have tried I. Two different plants. No luck. Not worth the money and it’s a yearly subscription so I am just out the money on an app I will never use again.
Diagnosis Feature is not useful
When trying to diagnose different plants, I receive too many suggestions as to what could be wrong, and the categories are also too broad. Not useful for my purpose.

Deceptive ads
Ads are deceptive and sometimes cannot be dismissed. I don’t mind an ad supported version, but many of the ads are intentionally deceptive, making it very difficult to find the x to dismiss them and tricking the user in clicking on a spot that opens the ad in Safari. Why would I trust a developer with my money when they pull things like this?

Does not work - just Ad platform
This app doesn’t even function. It pretends to analyze plant images, then displays full screen advertisements without any option to exit or navigate. The developer wants to force you to click on ads before you uninstall out of frustration. In other words, its a scam.
