Honestly deserves zero stars
I finally updated my iPad to the most recent iOS update. As soon as I did that, this app crashes CONSTANTLY. Sometimes it’s when I touch a certain icon, sometimes it’s when I’m literally in the middle of game play. I’ve done all of the troubleshooting tasks that the developer has on their website. It still doesn’t work. I’ve added the issue to their online user forum. It goes unresolved. Frankly, I don’t think the app developers even care about this problem despite multiple users reporting the exact same issue. Huge disappointment.

I wasn’t able to enter Adventure Mode because the app crashed.
Bug but can’t report so
This is just so the devs can see it but there’s a bug where I can’t collect the 10 gems for doing 8 daily activities and yeah as someone who uses his gems for stuff it’s kinda crummy so till they fix it 1 star booooo bad game bug hurry up ea and fix it

PvZ franchise is ruined
I’ve been excited to hear about PvZ 2 while playing the first but then you guys wanna ruin it by adding microtransactions to make arena impossible without money and the only way f2p can get plants is through events arena and worst of all rent a plant then to make it worst you made PvZ 1 a game where adds are everywhere you ruined our OG game and made it a cashgrab congrats pop cap I hope your happy
What has PvZ franchise become?
Man I don’t know where to begin… I miss the old days when Plants Vs. Zombies was made with love and affection. Now it’s just garbage with its micro transactions and adds. Not to mention the plants upgrade like WTF!!! You either die as a hero or live long enough to become a villain and that is what has unfortunately happened to not only this game but to angry birds as well. I would do anything to go back to those amazing days when 10 year old me would be thrilled with such masterpieces and now 10 years later I have to suffer the pain of these so called “good games”…

My problems with this game
I rate one stat because yall at ea think it’s a good idea to put a pay wall for no ads for 30 days even thought it was better without permanent adds and add more worlds this game gets really boring without new ideas just add the worlds form the Chinese version and get rid of the ads you greedy company
THE PLANT OF THE WEEK IS UNNECESSARILY BUGGY
On the starfruit plant of the week, level 4, i lost many times because the game would not let me place any plants after a couple of minutes. I wasted my energy.

Constant glitches
I loved this game. Way better than the first. But after a year playing it and spending a lot of money into it, it constantly glitches. Ever since the greedy makers put ads on, it glitches constantly. I click on the plant of the week and the whole app shuts down. Click on really just about anything and everything shuts down. There is NO app support or anyone to talk to. Just the game you’ve loved for so long now causes extreme frustration instead of a relaxing escape.
Stupid programming
Game keep shutting down and doesn’t give credit for won zCorp rounds. Very annoying worst it’s been in decades
Garbage
Can’t even get their adds to load properly so you can close it and claim the reward. How bad does a game have to suck where not even the adds work?

So frustrating
I love this game but sadly can no longer play it on my iPad. It constantly crashes. Everything is completely updated. I’ve deleted and reinstalled it and I have more than enough free space and while it works fine on my phone I am visually impaired and really need the larger screen to enjoy it. So sad and frustrating 😔

Update after 8 months I quit the game for 8 months and came back to see same things but worse in extra hard levels all the levels loaded fine expect the final zombies level I tried to load in 10 times and it crashed it wasted an entire hour not being able to complete the challenge.the game crashes even more now.but when I played level 300 on endless it didn’t crashed so there is a bug in the level.

I want to rent a plant by watching an ad and then the ad doesn’t close, I have to close the app and start all over again. It’s one of the daily quests that I never get to finish!! It’s so annoying please please fix it. Also absolutely filled to the brim with ads in general, wouldn’t mind it with the rent a plant if it actually worked.
Constant crashing on iPad
Love the game but not playable anymore. It crashes nearly every time I attempt to play. When a game is playable the graphics are terrible with sun and plant food not visible and some plants not visible. Too bad EA ruined a good game. That’s what happens when a company gets greedy.

My son loved this game but now, after the latest update, it crashes at the starting flower. We have tried reinstalling and that made no difference.

I got an ad with a timer, alright, that’s fine but when the timer was up, the arrow so that I can skip was hidden off screen so I was stuck in the ad. How is this game so badly optimized that the parts are hidden off screen. Uninstalled. Trash.

PvZ 2
I download this game after finally 100%ing PvZ 1, but as soon as I downloaded the full game, I get game crashes every time I open the almanac, the quests, the store, and almost every level! I found out that most times turning off Wi-Fi lets you play, but it stops on the final level of the ice age

Amazing Game Overall
This game is great the gameplay is amazing but my only issues is the stupid amount of ads I can understand having a couple but every time I do one level or mission or anything in this game just to get an annoying ads afterwards is absurd remove them or put less NOW!!!!!
