why change something that was perfectly fine
came back to my childhood game that practically raised me years ago just to see that its been updated. it's dysfunctional and has so many ripoff games, ads, and things that need a membership. i remember when the old game had pianos, a sleep mode, memory match, drawing and more. it was perfectly fine and simple for a child's mind before you had to change it up and made it complicated. the game isnt as organized for a child's mind is so messy. notice how all the good reviews were from 10 years ago and now you're just getting bad reviews?

Look, i know you guys are trying to go for a more modern look to the app. But it has such a confusing interface and layout meanwhile from like 2016-2023 or something had a more simple navigation method. It just seems like it’s all over the place. Genuinely the old interface should’ve stayed, the train was so simple yet so amazing. and don’t get me started on the subscriptions. Literally every old aspect of the games are payed now. Seriously, what were you guys thinking when updating this app.

Couldn’t set up
Terrible sign up process through the Walmart + free trial. Keep getting login error even tried creating a new account and it still doesn’t work. I was never sent a receipt so now I don’t know how to cancel before I’m charged the yearly fee after the Walmart free trial that I can not use. Not happy at all!

I love Playkids, it was a huge part of my childhood, but you changed it.. I miss the little train and the Spanish songs, you ruined the whole game.. So thanks a lot.. Change it back to the train please.. 😢💔

This app is incredibly frustrating. As a parent that used this throughout the pandemic with ease, I can’t believe how fixated it has become on individual subscriptions.
As a parent with two kids, why is there no Family Sharing with these subscriptions? I’m sorry but asking parents to sign up their toddlers individual account at $8/mo is too much. No Family Sharing also means the Apple TV app is useless without managing multiple accounts. Try explaining that to anyone in your household that doesnt understand how this subscription model works. Thats just the beginning….

Signed up with the T-Mobile Tuesday deal because we have a variety of learning apps for our son and wanted to give this one a try since it was being offered for free. We received no notice of the subscription ending and when trying to cancel the subscription, the app says we need to sign up for one. Now PlayKids is trying to charge me for a subscription they say we don’t have.

Keeps Charging after Cancellation
I signed up for a free 3 month trial on December 19, 2023 and cancelled a few days later.
In April 2024, I was charged 8.99 and haven’t responded to requests on website for a refund.
Remember, I cancelled in December!

Cannot Access Via App Or Website
I signed up for Playkids + via a Verizon reward, but I was never able to access the app from day one. After a few attempts, I gave up and tried to cancel my subscription online, but I was not even able to log in via that method. I figured that my account had not been created - since I did not even receive any type of email confirmation. So I did not think that I would be charged. Fast forward to 2-3 months later, I found out that I had been charged for several months - for a service that I was not even able to use.
I am disappointed, because I was excited to try out a new app for my children. And the worst part is that I am still being charged…

My trial through T-Mobile expired in December but now I got a charge for the monthly subscription plan 4 months afterwards?? Disputing the charge and they’re not letting me log into the account because I deleted it 4 months ago but they still kept my credit card credentials???

Pls read this. I used to play this game all the time and it was really fun. But then a major update came along and ruined EVERYTHING. Almost everything I loved was locked behind a paywall, and I could only watch like two episodes of a show. Also, what happened to the old characters? I hate the redesign so much! Katie the cat is missing and got replaced with this random character who came out of nowhere. Also, what happened to Loopy? Is that dog with brown spots him? If so, where is Loopy’s club? I hope you read this and bring things back, or at least the characters.

Its ok,but not better for me
I liked the update and stuff but I just have a few thing that bother me. The lullabies are gone; the one when you pick the song you want for bedtime and you set it for haw long. and you can’t play many of the games because you have to pay.Me personally, I liked the choo choo train better. This app should have a setting where you can pick the version you want, so that everyone doesn’t have to play the same type.
