I was enjoying this when it was a simple number/letter substitution. Then they went to symbol to letter. Ruined it!

I've played this game for several weeks and today doing the daily challenge it was blocking it letters that are actually in the words but I couldn't access them because they were blocked out as if they weren't in the word. So I used a hint and low and behold the letter I thought was supposed to be there was placed by the hint so I wasted several hints trying to complete the puzzle with letters I actually knew but couldn't access. Do better programmers. This game now gets deleted
Fun game until….
Fun until it glitched up, once I guessed a letter correctly. Even though there was more spots of that letter, it would act like all the same letter was done and I could not hit the keyboard for same letter but different spots. I thought maybe I didn’t have enough room. Deleted apps. Had to delete this app. But it took my stored data. I’d have to replay everything I already did. No back up to restore.
Rip-off
I have played this game for 75 days in a row, yet every time I start the game I have to “Pay” 100 coins to “Recover” my streak or if I do not, everything is “Reset” to 0. Either bad coding or a total rip-off…. DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME! There are plenty of other versions the App Store.

This game was fun for a little while. Then banner ads kept taking over the screen every 10-20 seconds, making it funny unplayable.
Waaaaaay too much ads with a puzzle to tap them close ..
I would say okay game but the overwhelming ads. Too long ones so annoying that you need to press many many times on the screen and jump in and out to to the App Store to get rid of them naaah am out

AD CRAZY
I downloaded the game because it looked fun and I breezed through 8 levels and then BAMB ads. You click the play button there’s an ad. You finish the game there’s an ad. And you can’t click off the stupid ads, so I’d close out and reopen, play a game and ad. Watched ad to see if it stopped for a bit… nope! I absolutely refuse to play a game when it chokes you on ads every SINGLE time you click play, or finish the game. DL’D today, deleted today. Was a shame. I liked the game. I could have seen myself seriously playing the game long term. It was fun and could have been addictive but those ads really are annoying!

Fun game. Pay to play is awful.
Saw an ad online and downloaded the game to try. It’s fun but a lot of inputs to pay for add ons. If you end up making three mistakes, the round ends and you literally HAVE to pay 50 gold pieces in order to try again even though the level restarts from the beginning. Very few opportunities for free gold. Immediately deleted the game. Not worth it.

The ads are freaking annoying! They pop up, and then there is no way to get beyond them except closing the app and reopening it. Such a shame, this game could be awesome and I don’t say that about very many apps. Oh, and no. I’m not paying to get rid of the ads. Just make them less obnoxious to deal with!
Was good, then not
This app forces ads for up to two minutes and cuts off any background music/podcasts currently playing in your phone. While it was initially a fun game, 2 minute ads, having my music/podcasts cut off, and having to do this between every short game has gotten tiring. I would not recommend this app.
Terrible add experience
This app is more adds than game. The adds will blast sound with no way to turn off. Adds are multilayered. You watch, click, and watch more 3 times. All the adds are for other games that are nothing like what is advertised.

My phone continually heated up with this game and used all of my battery life. Everything is back to normal after deleting. None of my other games are bad like this one.

You have to watch an ad before AND after each puzzle. If you like watching ads instead of playing a game, then this is the app for you! I don’t mind watching an ad to get an extra life or for a reward, with the option to not watch the ad if I don’t want to. You don’t have that option with this game…unless of course you spend $$$ to bypass ads…which this game is not all that addictive that one would actually spend money on to play.

Stopping in the middle of a puzzle for an ad break takes away from the enjoyment of the game considering I’m going to have to watch an ad when I complete the puzzle, and then another one before I start the next puzzle.
Ignore the paid reviews
Puzzles are interrupted by ads. It's one thing if they out video ads between puzzles, but they put two video ads in the same puzzle. That makes the game unplayable.

Ads ruined this game
This would be my favorite game but I’m deleting it because of the amount of ads. It’s absolutely ridiculous! I just had one ad that was 2 minutes long and it took about 20 seconds afterwards for the x to pop up. That was my breaking point, so I’m deleting it now. The only time it was enjoyable was when i put my phone on airplane mode to block the ads, but even then i wasn’t able to revive and essentially lost all of my progress. Im going to now look for a new app with the same game

After playing for a bit, I can confirm that there’s an ad every time you finish the game and even before you play a game. Majority of the time you are watching the ads instead of playing the actual game. It really makes this app so terrible and it is not worth downloading or playing the game.

Sooo many ads
It’s a fun game, but the more you play the more ads there are. It gets to the point where there is an ad every time you click something in the game. And bonus!! they get longer and unskippable. I also don’t know how smart the developers are to take ads that say your game is out of date. I’m out!
Frustrating
Why do so many of these games force you to play in portrait mode? I use an iPad, which I use exclusively in landscape mode. Once I find out that one of these games is going to force me to play in portrait mode I simply delete it.
Pick a different word game
I enjoy playing this game, but I am so tired of the ad before the game and then again after the game. And the more I play it the longer the ads are. And if you miss a letter 3 times, they punish you by making you watch three ads in a row or an ad that’s three to four times longer. this version of Cryptogram is definitely all about the ads.
Great game but will not let you proceed without new downloads
I like the game itself but then it FORCES you to download additional apps of the same type in order to move to the next level. No way around it!!!

Shady App
I really liked the game at first and I played it every day but it started opening up my TikTok account even though I didn’t give it any permission. I keep closing the app before it can load anything but it just seems very shady. I don’t even know how the app got access to my information but I don’t like it. Will be deleting!!

Recent update broke game
Was a great experience until the last update. All the “2”s are now multiple values so it’s incredibly hard to guess which letter it should be. One crypto I had the 2’s were both the “L” and “S” letters. Please fix 👏
